hi there, ButterflyParrot! you can obtain a volar felis in several ways:

1. you win a main adopt
every week or so, a new litter created by one of the artists is put up on the front page for people to adopt, usually in the form of simple competitions (raffles are the most common). the winners for these main adopt comps are usually chosen in a week and the results are announced on the thread. if you find your username attached to the VF that you have entered for, that felis is yours and you are now free to display it on your signature, commission art of them, or develop them as regular ocs.
however, you may not use a main adopt litter unless and until it has been stated on the thread that you have won them. doing this is art/character theft and vf staff will take appropriate action against this offense. cs staff also have a right to step in as their site rules speak out against art and character theft.

2. you order a custom
a custom brush item (usually bought from the VF store in the front page) can be used to obtain a volar felis of your own, if you don't mind shelling out some cs pets or c$. with a custom brush, you can ask one of the volar felis artists (when they are open) to make a volar felis the way you want it to!
however, you may not bug or otherwise persistently pm an artist for a custom or "vague" about wanting a custom but you cannot afford it. this is quite rude. you may not create your own volar felis, custom brush or not. only artists are allowed to touch the species lines

3. you get gifted a volar felis
maybe a friend or a random kind stranger in the community decides to be nice and gift you a volar felis to start you off on your collection. it's not technically against the rules to do so, but please refrain from pity-farming, begging or guilt-tripping others about how you would like to have your first felis and how nice it would be if someone gifted you one, etc. etc.

as the species is kinda dead (lol) i don't think there'll be any new main adopt litters coming out, if at all, and since Rose.King hasn't been in since last year i don't believe that they will be available to take payments for you to buy a custom brush xc

yeah, the ways you get a V.Felis are just as ozaki. said, HOWEVER, the owner and maker of Volar Felis (Rose.King) has seemingly dropped off the grid, so most of us are thinking V.Felis is going to be closed off for a while, if even just 'a while' ):

off of them or trade for anything other than other Volar Felis.

Hey there, everyone. Sorry about the unofficial closing and the amount of time it took to get these adoptable litters 'judged'. But, finally, I have the results of the elements litter. Since the last VF had nobody guess correctly, I will be making it an FCFS adopt. To adopt, simply reply with the adopt form from this contest, but in the element guess, write FCFS. Does anyone know if the customs that people didn't want refunded are going to be done at some point (not immediately, or even in a week, just at some point xD) because if the adopts are closing, I feel like there's not much point refunding them, and I was really looking forward to mine lol c:
