Tracker Dog you want: 67
Name you'll give it: Buda
Nicknames: Big bud, Mowhawk, Fozzy bear.
Reason why you want it:
I fell in love with this tracker the second I saw it, the reason I didn't make a form for him first was because since hes the last tracker of the series I wanted to at least try twice. But I am relieved that I didn't get Illu because I just love Buda so much. If he was my final tracker I would probably die of happiness because I am going to work my butt off on this form. I just love him in so many ways, His personality his looks hes stunning. Buda is my favorite tracker I have ever seen anyone make Nex and I promise you if I do get him iw ill always love him and keep him as my own. I think if you picked my form I would probably cry of happiness just because this tracker reminds me so much of my friend Brain who moved my the USA to China with his parents. Not only does Budas personality remind me of Brain, but his mowhawk does to. Though Brians mowhawk wasn't red it was big and bluky and I will think about him, if even if I don't win, everytime I see this tracker dog. Buda is just amazing in so many ways and he makes me smile everytime I even look at him because hes so different and exotic, and since hes so different I just love him hes amazing <3

Height: 5'2
Wegiht: 112 pounds
Will it be used in any kind of story? yep c:
Describe its personality:
/Likes\
-Being around Janece, strangers make him uncomfortable.
-Being outside, would rather be out in the open then inside a house and cramed.
-Day light, prefers the smells of the morning air rather then the night.
-Eating meats, prefers to eat meat but will stomach plants and others.

-Dislikes-
-Being around groups of people without Janece, he gets very uneasy.
-Being inside, prefers the outside world though he can't see it.
-Night time, Like to be out in the day smelling the fresh air in the mornings rather then the cold crisp night air.
-Eating plants or fruits, prefers to eat meat like chicken and pig.

♥Strong♥
Budas a big boy as you can see, he also has 2 'arms' as well as four legs. Which works to his advantage, if hes running and can tuck them to the side and easily chase down his target. Since hes bigger then most trackers he has more power to take down his targets, let alone the extra appendages. Buda can easily knock a human over, since hes so big he has alot of weight as well as force. If he needs to he will apply force when trying to track, or hunt down a human.
♥Loyal♥
Not only is Buda strong but hes also loyal, he will never leave Janece's side no matter what happens she is his handler and he will always repect her for commiting herself to him. He loves her out going personality and how she always want to go out in the world and help, he helps her threw everything he can weather its holding papers in his hands for her or pulling trash from nature or saving people he is always there to be with and around her. Buda will risk his life in order to save Janece if it was nessicary, Janece means the world to him and he would always be there to protect her no matter what
♥Brave♥
Buda will jump in front of fires, dodge mine fields and even swim if he has to, to track down or help someone. He figures since hes big, no being on the face of the planet would dare stand up to face him, there fore when saving or tracking he has full confidence in himself and always stays on task. Nothing can distract Buda from saving a human or another tracker, its his passion his love and his job so he commits himself to it and does it nearly every day he can to help out the humans. He loves to work with Janece she always leads him to work with Janece she never makes him do something other then what hes doing when hes tracking, because she knows he knows what hes doing.
♥Cocky♥
After Buda find the missing human or whatever he is sent to track, he always walks around in circles around people and makes all the attention on him for saving it. Janece always rolls her eyes as she watches the big lug parade around his congraulations commite with his tongue slinging in every direction and his mouth wide open, as the people cheer and clap for him. Lots of them call him a hero because he does things people themselves cannot do.
♥Fearless♥
Since Buda has ull confidence in himself, he isnt afraid of anything. If a gun was pointed at his head, it still wouldn't frighten him in the least bit, because he knew he could attack the person holding the gun to wear he would drop it and Janece would easily catch it. Buda isn't afraid in any surronding even a mine field, he isnt afraid of death and he always listens when some one says "There is nothing to fear, but fear itself" that meaning still needs to unravel itself to him, but he thinks he already knows what it means.

Write an introduction for your Tracker:
The Escape
Intro:
Buda trotted threw the forest, he knew what ever challenged him would surely pay nothing could take him on. He was fearless and could handle anything that came his way, no matter what it was, human, animal he could handle it. Heck if his size didn't intimadate the creature first he honestly didn't know what was, he was the biggest of trackers ever known. He liked the forest it was a quiet place and let him relax and get away from it all, he usually came here and then went to go vist his handler or he liked to think of her as his handler, Janece. They had met a few months ago and though he can't see her he knows she's a wonderful person by the way she acts. Buda was the name she had given him, he was her big bad protector and would do anything for her. She still lived with these things called 'Parents' she had told him about and they wouldn't let such wild animals into there house. Thats why he likes the woods, because he spends his time there sleeping mostly, Janece always brought him huge containers of meat to eat as they sat on the hill alittle ways from her house looking out at the forest. She liked to smile and walk beside him, her soft hands would gently brush threw his mane and make him happy, they seemed like the perfect pair.

Story:
Buda yawned and stood up shaking his head, it seemed to have rained the night before his bpdy was very wet. He began to shake himself, sending sprays of water fly in every direction. He strecthed himself out and then turned his head to the right drinking in all the sweet smells of the morning. Buda sighed and began the trek to see Janece, he clambered over steep rocks and steep hills before he finally scented her out side by the gate awaiting him. He walked up to her tiredly and sat in front of her as she began speaking to him and stroking his mane. "Good Morning Buda, you seem awful tired today" she said pulling her arm back threw the wooden fence, where there was and opening between each panel so she could stick her arms threw and pet him. The fence was about 8-10 feet tall and she usually walked out threw the door to get to Buda, but it was still early morning and she was about to get Budas food. Buda pushed his head up against the wooden fence, listening to what Janece was doing. He heard the screen door close slowly on its own and then heard the cold storage place open or 'Frige' and listened as a door slammed and a humming noise grew louder in his ears. She came back with a plate of meat and opened the gate, the sweet smell of chicken meat rushed up his nostrils as she set the plate in front of him and sat in the grass next to him as he bent down and ate.

"This morning after you finish eating were going to head down to the police station and see if there are any missing people reports." She said smiling watching him eat faster. "Woah woah slow down dont choke" she giggled watching him eat like he was a vaccum sucking up scum off a dirty carpet floor. She took the plate and watched as he sat back on his haunches sincing she had gone over to the garden hose to was off the plate, hoping her parents wouldn't notice him before they awoke. "Alright lets go" She said unlooping his lead from the top of the gate that hung there motionless. She tied it around his neck and walked beside him, leading him to a sidewalk where his claws clicked against the concrete. Finally after about 15 minutes they arrived at the police station, Janece opened the door and untied Budas lead so he could move freely around the room, smelling stacks of newspapers and officer uniforms that hung neatly on a rack. Janece walked up to the counter and leaned against it looking into the eyes of police officer Jackson, who sat back in his chair with his fingers folded neatly across his stomach "Well hey there Janece, Hey Buda what can we do for you today?" he said smiling. "Hey Richard has anyone called into the station regaurding a missing person or thing?" Janece said tapping her fingers along the shiny counter tops.

"Well actually a younger women came in a upset this morning brought us a coat, was looking for someone to help find her husband, she said he went missing last night. He was on the phone with her about to get in his car and leave when he was kidnapped and the phone was smashed to bits" he said looking down at the black floors. "Thats awful" Janece said shaking her head, "Sure is" Richard said agreeing. "Fozzy bear come here" She said jokingly, Fozzy bear was one of Budas nicknames she usually called him that when getting the news about a missig person. His two nicknames had meaning, Fozzy bear was called when she just heard about a missing person, and mowhawk was called after finding the missing person. Buda clicked his way towards her along the slippery floors and awaited her to tell him what to do, "Where was the man kidnapped Richard?" she asked grabbing the coat the women brought into the station early that morning. "Walmart parking lot, his cars still there its a red 2010 camaro we were about to send some cruisers out there and wrap up the scene before it got out of hand why don't you two go check it out and see if you can get and clues or find the man" Richard said looking at Janece. "Alright see you Richard, come on Buda lets go!" She said racing out the door Buda on her heels.

The two ran for about 9 blocks until the reached the Walmart parking lot, they searched up and down the lanes until they spotted a parked red comaro with no one inside. "There it is Buda come on!" She said running ahead of him, he senced her footsteps and smelled her scent trail to make sure he wouldnt crash into her as they ran. They slowed to a walk as they approached the care circling around to the drivers door, where a bag of grocerys had been dropped, a carton of milk leaked out onto the pavement from the night before, making it all hard and sticky by now. "Here Buda try smelling the jacket we got from Richard, it might help us locate his scent" Jancec said reaching down and putting it a little bit in front of his noise to where he started smelling it. He jumped up on his back legs and began smelling the car door, his scent was coming off the car door handle and moving into the direction of the wooded area back behind the walmart. Buda began running towards the back of the walmart, Jancec followed not questioning a thing, she knew when he took off that he knew where the man was taken.

Buda halted once they had reached the wooded area, the mans scent went in two different directions. He snarled slighty and decided to go right, he happened to make the wrong choice the mans scent was getting weaker and weaker the more he went. Buda haulted and tunred around racing back the other way, he snarled at himsel for making such a clumsey mistake. Then once they had gotten onto the right path they heard voices and Buda smelled the faint but strong smell of blood. Buda haulted and began kicking his back feet, to warn Janece danger was near. Janece nodded and crept slowly behind Buda after he quit kicking as they walked towards the men and dived into some bushes hearing what the men were saying "No one will find you, yeah your a goner!" two different of the 3 men laughed. One man loaded a pistol as the other two finished beating the young man, blood flowed from the right corner of his mouth and his left eye was purple and swolen. Janece tapped Buda on the back of the head once and mumbled "Mowhawk" then he snarled loudly and sinced the man with the gun, leaping from the bushes and landing scerely in front of the man with the gun he snarled louder. "Well we may only have 3 bullets but I better shoot this thing before it gets any bright ideas" the man said chuckling pointing the small pistol right at Budas head. Buda snarled and lunged for the mans legs the man began screaming in pain and dropped the gun, Janece flew out of the bushes and snatched it pointing it at the other two men who stood over the poor man tied to the oak tree, bleeding from his face. "BUDA HAULT" she said after Buda had sunk his teeth into the mans leg, tasting the oozing red blood salty and warm, ring his tastebuds. Buda pulled off the mans leg and snarled loudly backing away towards Janece. "NOW ALL OF YOU WILL LEAVE, or I wills hoot you all in the face now. And if that doesn't happen i'll sick Buda here on you all" she said watching there faces turn pale.

As they began to leave the wooded area the cops arrived at the scene sirens blaring, were able to catch the 3 men and arrest them.
Mean while...
Janece untied the short, skinny man from the tree as he began to cough, "Thank you.." He murmured trying to mutter out some words. "its fine just dont talk ok? I'll put you on Budas back and get you out of here so you can heal." she said grabbing his arm and pulling him up holding his back. She slid him carefully onto budas back and began walking with Buda side by side to make sure he didn't fall off. A human head on Budas head felt strange, but her didn't care his top priority was to get this man to safety and medical treatment. As they came out of the woods police officers radio'd in ems and an ambulance siren roared up the road that just happened to be a little was away at mcdonalds for there lunch. Buda leaned down as they cared the man off of his shoulders and onto a strecther, pushing him into the back of an ambulance. Richard was one of the police officers at the scene and was calling the wife of the man to tell her he was going to be ok. ♥

Nex, I have a quick question: What makes a winning form?
im basically never on, so if you wanna with trade me or if you message me, be prepared to wait a while for a response. this account is first and foremost a personal archive for sentimentality's sake as it was a big part of my childhood.

I'm sure each form is a little different on "why" it won. But actually reading winning forms might provide an answer.

I've been reading a lot of the forms for the remaining trackers, and they're amazing.
I finally finished my form for #64, but I'm not sure it can compare to some of the other forms for her. It would mean so much to me to win her, but some of these other forms are stunning.

Good luck to everyone, though, you've all been working really hard~

Tracker Dog Application Series 20

Username: Runningdawn
Tracker Dog you want: Track Dog #65
Name you'll give it: Hm... he looks like an Armageddon to me. An internal battle with himself, good and evil - that's what I imagine him as. Armageddon.
Reason why you want it: I've been following the Tracker threads for at least a few months now, but never really felt compelled to apply. But now you've made this gorgeous tracker, and I absolutely loved him. <3 He's so different from anything I've seen, and somehow you made everything on him look so natural. Some people's reaction to him may be "he's disturbing" or "ew" or something of the like, but I eat things like that up - anything that shows something a little morbid, even slightly gory piques my interest. I love the skeletal look about him that also seems so life-like.

He has a kind of glamor about him that isn't about sparkles - the mouth on his neck, and the moving ribcage are both mainly for show, but they also make him that much better. All that glitters is not gold, but this Tracker is dazzling in my eyes. I am already imagining writing something about him, just to describe how he looks like he would walk, a swift gait, ribcage rippling and his second mouth moving slightly every time he move forwards. Ah, I know I sound obsessed. That's alright, though, because, honestly, I think I am...

Will it be used in any kind of story? Most likely - I'm already formulating ideas in my mind about his past, his present. I usually don't plan that far ahead, though, so as of yet he has no fixed position in any storyline of mine.
Describe its personality: When it comes to personality, Armageddon's main highlight is his own internal conflict. He wants to do the right thing, but often confuses righteousness or courage with being overly-protective or territorial. Often, he will try to make friends, but, besides the fact that his looks could come across as slightly unnerving, he also plays rough - much too rough. He lets his instincts get ahead of him almost all the time and a new found friend could quickly become wary of him when he paws at them with a little too much oomph. As a result, he is generally alone, lonely, and almost always a little glum. He doesn't know any better, though, and when he thinks to much about he feels the need to take his anger out on something - a small animal, perhaps. Honestly, he wants to be good - he just hasn't been taught how.
Besides his internal conflict, Armageddon loves discovery, and is very playful for the most part - anything he hasn't seen before, he will examine thoroughly, and then, if he finds it suitable, he will play with it. He has very strong wild instincts, however, which may be the cause of his rough-housing, and make him rather difficult to handle. In some ways, though, he is like a giant, goofy dog - he likes just about everyone, even if not everyone likes him, and will remain a loyal companion as long as you have the patience for him.

Armageddon is very good at navigating difficult trails through mountains or other generally rocky and craggy trails, and enjoys doing such. He is also decent at combat (it he makes a properly placed kick or shoulder bump with his little spikes), though that is something he prefers not to do unless he is very frustrated. Most people wouldn't bother picking a fight with him anyways.

Write an introduction for your Tracker: [[ I'm not sure what you meant by this, but from what I can see you just write a little piece of a story or something about him? ]]
Dusk was falling across the scorched ground as Armageddon walked swiftly forward, his nostrils flaring. With every step he took, his paws would kick up more ash and dust - he was practically walking in his own hazy cloud. That's how he felt right now as well; trapped, isolated, alone behind an invisible wall. Something behind a line of charred trees snapped, and Armageddon stopped, his ears pricking hopefully, his mouth opening to better catch any scent that could drift across the still air. He was nearly quivering with anticipation - could he not be the only one left?

6 hours earlier
"Go, Army, go, go!" his master cried, even though he couldn't see the Tracker who was fighting savagely with a man in black. Armageddon knew the seriousness of the situation - he didn't have to have eyes to know the facility had just exploded (literally and metaphorically) with an upscale riot - but he didn't listen to the man who was his only friend. Armageddon's ribcage was rippling back and forth, trying to look as intimidating as possible. The form of the man in front of him was huge, and, even though he didn't have claws or sharp teeth, Armageddon was finding him difficult to take down.
Suddenly, a sharp cry of pain alerted Armageddon that he had to get out of here, now. Jumping back just in time, the Tracker narrowly dodged a bullet that instead lodged itself in the ground, and turned tail, bounding away in the opposite direction. Within moments he had reached his mark, a man lying on the ground that everybody was now ignoring. Armageddon latched onto his master's arm and tugged as hard as he could, looking around to find a clear way out of the battle and flames. There was an opening; no, there; no... Everything seemed to close up too quickly. Gritting his teeth, Armageddon held onto his master as tightly as he thought healthy, and surged into the stream of fighting, screaming Trackers and people.
"Army... no... let me go..." his master mumbled, fighting through his unconsciousness. Even the forest outside was burning, but Armageddon still plunged onward, determined to find a safe spot in the midst of all this chaos. His nose, finally, picked up on something that wasn't completely impure, and he headed that way, stopping beside a slowly moving stream. Armageddon dropped his master's arm, examining him. A red blossom was blooming through his shirt, in the center of his stomach. That would be the bullet wound.
Armageddon's master suddenly opened his eyes, though he seemed distant, far off. He stretched out his hand, finding purchase on the top of Armageddon's head, letting it rest there in a kind of comforting gesture. "Don't let anybody forget about me, bud, alright? You're gonna be great. I'd say avenge me, but that's a little dramatic, don't you think?" His master laughed, which turned into a hacking cough, and then a moan of pain. Armageddon whimpered, nudging his master's face with his muzzle. He couldn't let him go, not now...
Suddenly, Armageddon was being pushed back by his master's suddenly rough hands, and, a split second too late, saw the reason why dropping from the sky. A target missile, designed to hit, destroy, and leave everything else intact. Armageddon let out an anguished howl, jumping forward, but almost immediately being blow backwards as the bomb impacted and sent a shock wave billowing in all directions. He hit the ground on his side, knocking the breath out of him. He lay there for a minute, trying to process what had just happened, trying to convince himself that wasn't his master's body he had seen disintegrate in front of him.
Tentatively, he lifted his head up, glancing over to where he had just being standing. Armageddon had braced himself for the sight, but nothing could have prepared him for the total nothingness at the side of the river. There was a small crater, but besides for that tiny indent, there was no proof here that Armageddon's master had ever existed. For the first time in his life, Armageddon knew exactly how it felt to be completely and utterly alone. He flattened his ears again his head, crouching down and letting out a whimper that turned into a sad, held-out note of despair.

In Armageddon's anticipation, he had forgotten that whoever emerged from the trees would not be his master, and might now be somebody willing to be friendly to him. His neck was stretched out, trying to catch a glimpse of any sign of life, causing his second mouth to open slowly.
What stepped out of the burnt undergrowth, however much Armageddon disliked it, was just what he needed. The man in black - he had managed not to die, somehow, even though Armageddon knew that the bomb that had nearly hit himself was not the last of them.
The man was worse for wear, though - he had a gash across his forehead, and one eye was puffy and swollen. He seemed weak at the knees, but when he saw Armageddon, recognition dawned on his face, and he slowly drew a small pistol, hands shaking. Armageddon bared his teeth, crouching down and puffing out his ribcage, a growl ripping from his throat.
He was ready to avenge.

Oh thank you thank you thank you! All those lovely line edits make Darci the best-looking Aquatic I've ever seen ;) I can't wait to get some free time again, too, so I can start writing some stuff for him :) More of Velh's story, and because I can't resist at least trying to rp with my Trackers, I'll send him out with a couple of my rp characters too ^^

Heh, I was worried the story would be too long. I tried to keep it short, but I didn't want to leave anything out.

And since I'm posting: Congrats wibeke, I really loved your art and the personality you gave Firefly, very interesting and complex.

Finally designed a character by myself and for myself that I actually really, really like:

Tracker Dog Application Series 20

Tracker Dog you want:65
Name you'll give it:Ebony
Reason why you want it: I would like to have a tracker dog because, i love how they look, especially designs, but most of all their features. I would like to have a tracker dog so i can draw it and use it in my siggy also i'm planning on writing a story about my characters but i have to get some more first. lol

Will it be used in any kind of story? Yes possibly, i am maybe going to write about a big planet just out of range of human sensors, where all manor of creatures live. Then theres a young teenage girl she sneaks onto the spaceship that is taking them to see the planet. Then the astronauts get killed but she is spared by the creatures and one of them is a young boy slightly older than her and his pet is the tracker dog, and they spend their lives protecting the planet happily ever after..... or not............

Describe its personality: Despite his looks, he is friendly and outgoing, he is a loyal companion and has a low tolerance for loud machines or screaming. He usually keeps his second mouth closed because when he opens it his throat gets cold. He is cheerful and has a habit of chasing anything that moves that is smaller than him. He sometimes feels lonely and left out but also feels out of place around humans so he mainly avoids them. He respects nature and will never kill unless it is the will of his master or a scary situation.

Write an introduction for your Tracker:

His coat merged into the greens and browns of the forest floor, he was hidden a silent killer waiting for prey. His muscles throbbed and his bones hurt, he heard his own stomach gurgle and his mouth open involuntarily as his body rejected the last of the humans rat poisons.
Only a few days before he had made his way into a small village, it was full of rats, most of them dead the others dying. That was where he ate the rat with the poison in it. He shook his head, he remembered it vividly. What was wrong with humans all that food just left to rot. They thought they were too posh to eat anything other than vegetables and pig on golden plates. He knew though that he would have the final laugh when food started disappearing.
A small rabbit, unaware of his advancing shadow sat in the middle of a small clearing. He jumped landing flat on the rabbit, claws puncturing is sides. He took it over to a nearby stream to eat.
His nose scanned the forest sensing anything no further than six miles away, he listened carefully making sure no humans were about and finished his food. Afterwards he stood up and gave a long yawn followed by an agonising stretch. He felt much better now and need to keep moving. He took a few steps forward narrowly missing a tree and walking straight into another one.
"I'm just tired," He thought to himself and he lay down to rest, forehead throbbing.......

I have a few questions ...
I will apply for #66
* Is her jewelry on the breast a sensor, too, like the jewelry one her head?
* Can I take her straps on the front legs off, too, or only the straps around her wings?
* The red lines on the straps, are they decoration, or oil indicators or something important?
* Am I allowed to speculate about the choosen material of her mechanics? - Only real material, not something like kryptonite ;)
Sorry for asking so many crazy questions, but I get mad about series 20 ^^

No, that jewellery is just for show. It has no real function.
If you see it has a strap, it can be taken off.
They're whatever you want them to be. Be creative in finding a use for them. :D
Of course you are allowed to do that. Even unreal things such as Adamantium is allowed to be incorporated in your form.

I hope that helped.

Yeah! So many possibilities! The application will be a lot of fun
Thank you Nex!

Tracker Dog Application Series 20
Tracker Dog #64 I Available until September 9
Gender: Female
The simple colours on this Tracker draw more attention to the cannon mounted on it. Filled with paralytic plasma, this Tracker is a well trained ranged shooter that has the advantage of being in the air. The cannon is powered by the movement of her wings, each time they come down, they force air through the tubes, which the cannon converts into power. She's concentrated and doesn't like being on land for a long time. Slightly claustrophic, do not keep this Tracker indoors or bring it into underground spaces.

Tracker Dog you want: Tracker #64 (sixty-four)
Name you'll give it: Tiyagar
Reason why you want it: As soon as I saw this stunning tracker, I immediately fell in love with her. Her simple coloring and pattern, coupled with the cannon, make her an absolutely amazing tracker. And, what's more, she's judged on my birthday. It would be a lovely birthday present if I were to win her. I know I probably won't have a chance of winning, but I would love it if you could consider my form. I would be most happy if I were to win Tiyagar, she's one of the most stunning Trackers I've ever seen.

Will it be used in any kind of story? Of course. I love to write, and I will definitely write many stories for the lovely Tiyagar. I will probably put Kynä in the story, too, but at least one will be primarily about Tiyagar.

Describe its personality: Tiyagar is a swift, agile Tracker who is very bold and sometimes a little rash. She's very confident in her abilities, and hates to lose. She hates to be on the ground, or in cramped places, preferring to soar about the skies with her powerful wings. Tiyagar is not afraid to put her life on the line to tell others what she believes. She's always ready to show what she thinks, and can often regret her decisions. She loves nature, and hates to be indoors. She doesn't like to stay on the ground much, and thus, can sustain herself in the air for long periods of time. She can travel very far without touching the ground, and even if she does, it is only for short periods of time. She is also very concentrated, and she can focus on any job for as long as she is needed to do so. Once she is focused, nothing can distract her. She will focus on the task at hand, and nothing else. At that moment, she exists only to fulfill the job, and will not accept the help of anyone else. Tiyagar is always very determined to complete jobs without the help of anyone else. She is very independent in her work, and she feels that anyone accompanying her is trying to steal her spotlight. She feels great satisfaction for completing a job, and prefers to keep the satisfaction only to herself, and not for anyone else. She's generally an independent tracker, but when outside of work, she's very loving, sweet, and playful, provided you don't provoke her in any way. She is used for many aerial cases, and she can fly far to look for evidence.
She is very loyal and supportive of her friends/masters, and will never leave them alone if they are in need of help, however, she will refuse to accept any help from them. She is very defensive and possessive of her masters, and she won't let anyone near them if she believes they are a threat. Despite her rash and bold personality, she can also be a loving companion, who isn't afraid to show anyone how much she loves them.

Write an introduction for your Tracker:
Flash. Lightning struck the ground just inches from an old military base. Huddled in the corner of the base, a tracker whimpered. She hated being near the ground, but she had no choice in a storm like this. She flapped her wings pitifully, drenched to the bone. She was miserable, scared, and lonely. She shuffled uncomfortably, trying to adjust the cannon, which poked into her at a most unpleasant angle. Hearing a cracking sound, she moved worriedly, not realizing that the whole base was about to collapse on top of her.

*-*-*-*

"That was some storm last night, huh?"
Officer Beau Patterson looked up from his newspaper as Officer Peter Buckley, a fellow police officer walked in the door of the quaint police station. He took a sip of his coffee and nodded. "My kids were absolutely terrified." He replied. Officer Buckley walked around the table to see the newspaper.
"So that old military base finally collapsed, eh? I was wondering when that old thing was finally gonna bite it."
Officer Patterson nodded. "I suppose we ought to check it out, hmm?"
Officer Buckley grabbed his keys. "I'll drive." he offered.
Officer Patterson got to his feet and followed Officer Buckley to his car. He sincerely hoped they could spend the shortest amount of time at the base. He didn't like to admit it, but something about the base scared him. As a kid, he had always been afraid to go in, worried that something would happen to him. He pushed his thoughts away and focused on Officer Buckley, who was singing along to the radio.

"Baby, you're a firework
Come on, let your colors burst
Make 'em go "Oh, oh, oh"
You're gonna leave 'em all in awe, awe, awe"

"Why do you listen to this music?" Officer Patterson asked, leaning forward to change the station. "This sounds like what immature teenagers listen to."
Officer Buckley frowned. "But I liked that song." he said. "My daughter introduced it to me."
Officer Patterson shook his head. "We're almost there anyway," he said. The car turned onto a remote gravel road, the only way to the military base. Officer Patterson's sense of foreboding began to grow every turn of the car wheels. Please, God. He prayed. Let there be nothing in there.
Officer Buckley stopped the car and climbed out, whistling. "Let's get this done as fast as we can."
Officer Patterson hesitated a moment before following the other officer towards the wreck. Everything seemed alright on top, but it was necessary to go beneath the rubble to see whether anything valuable or important lay beneath it. The two officers began to pull away planks of wood and steel. Officer Patterson began to feel relieved. They had pulled away enough planks that it seemed nothing was amiss. Officer Buckley was walking around the wreck, taking one last look. He waved his hand. "Looks fine," he said. "I think we can head back."
Officer Patterson swept his eyes around the wreck one more time. His eye caught something gray sticking out from a pile of broken wood. "Wait," he called. "I think I see something." He began to walk towards the pile of wood, worry building in his chest. Pulling the wood away, he uncovered the top of a dusty, scratched cannon, as well as a tuft of gray fur. "Oh, no." He murmured. "Hey, Peter, come here, I think there's something under here." Officer Buckley ran over and helped the other officer uncover the wreck. Underneath the piles of wood was a gray and blue furry body with ripped wings and a dented cannon on its back.
"A tracker!" Officer Buckley asked.
Officer Patterson sucked in his breath. "We've got to get it out of here," he said. "Otherwise it may not have a chance."
The two officers hoisted the tracker up. "Come on!" Officer Patterson called. "Quickly!"
The two men ran towards the police car, gently placing the tracker in the back seat and then jumping into the front themselves.
Officer Buckley stepped on the pedal, and they sped down the road.
Wee - oo, Wee - oo
The sound of the siren echoed through the streets as the police car sped through the city. Officer Patterson kept his eyes on the tracker lying motionless in the back seat, and his heart pounded. He knew something bad had to happen, but this was awful. As Officer Buckley stopped the car, Officer Patterson leaped out of his seat, and began to lift the tracker off the seat. The two officers carried the tracker into the office.

The doctor took one look at the tracker and his face fell.
Officer Patterson noticed, and his heart began to pound. "Can you save it?"
"I can only hope so," the doctor said. "I will try my hardest, but I'm really not sure I can. It's in real bad shape right now, and its injuries may be hard to fix." He inspected the tracker again. "Give me some time, and I'll do the best I can."
Officer Patterson exited the room, biting his lip. He turned his head once more to see the tracker lying motionless on the table, and he sucked in his breath. "Please be okay," he whispered softly. "Please."

Officer Buckley was waiting in the lobby. "Will it be okay?"
"I don't know," Officer Patterson replied. "They're trying their hardest on it."
The receptionist behind the desk watched them with pity. "It'll be fine," she said warmly.
The two officers turned around. "How do you know?" Officer Patterson asked.
"They've saved before," she said. "And I know they can do it again." She smiled. "Just believe in the doctors," she told them. "Try to take your mind off of it for the moment." She turned again to the papers on her desk.
Officer Patterson sat down on one of the plush couches lining the lobby. "We can only hope," he said.

*-*-*-*

Officer Patterson yawned and opened his eyes to see a pair of legs standing in front of him. He sat up with a start. "Have I been here all night?" he asked, looking up to see the head doctor.
He nodded. "Yes, you must have been really worried about the tracker."
Officer Patterson's face fell. "Is it okay?"
The doctor smiled. "Yes, she's doing well. She hasn't woken up yet, so she may show some aggressive behavior at first, but she'll be fine."
Officer Patterson felt as if a hundred pounds had dropped off of him in that moment. "Oh, I'm so glad," he said, smiling. "You said it was a she?"
The doctor nodded. "Would you like to see her?"
Officer Patterson nodded and the doctor took him to the back room where he had dropped off the tracker the night before. She was lying on the table, looking much better than last night.
The doctor looked at the police officer and smiled. "I can see you're relieved." he said.
"I can't thank you enough," Officer Patterson said. "I thought she was going to die."
The doctor chuckled. "To be honest, I did too. The only reason I kept working was because I seemed to feel the creature's will to live," he said. "I think it inspired me to keep working on her."
"I guess it payed off," Officer Patterson said.
"I suppose it does." The doctor looked into the room. "Would you like to go see her?"
Officer Patterson nodded and pushed open the door. He stopped in front of the tracker and gently stroked her shoulder. He could feel the strong muscle under her fur, and admired her strength. He continued to stroke her, and to his surprise, he felt the tracker's will to live, just as the doctor had. Within this rush of emotions came one single word. Tiyagar.
"Tiyagar," the officer murmured. "Is that your name?" he asked the tracker. A ripple went through the tracker's body and she moved her head. The officer quickly withdrew his hand and watched as the tracker stood. He gasped in awe at the muscles rippling through the trackers. She turned her head towards him, and it took all he had to stand and face her. She continued to stare at him, until she bowed her head to him and hopped off the table and headed towards the door. He opened it for her and she padded out and into the sun. She raised her head to the sun, and Officer Patterson could have sworn she smiled. She flapped her powerful wings and took to the air. Officer Patterson watched her in awe, admiring the way she flew through the air without a care in the world. He smiled and sat in the grass. Tiyagar, he thought. I hope we can get to know each other.
He stood up and was going to turn back into the office, but then saw that the tracker was eying him from the air. He looked at her, and something passed between them. They were companions, for always.

*-*-*-*

Tiyagar stood proudly beside her master, flexing her powerful wings. She had found the one she had always been destined to be with. She had felt his kindness and his love, and she shared it with him. They had been companions for many years now, and they were perfect together. They had shared pain and love, and they were solving cases here and there. Tiyagar would have never dreamed of being with someone else, and she loved her time with him. She flapped her wings and rose into the air, soaring through the clouds and enjoying the wind on her. She sensed her master watching her fly. She could fly wherever she wanted, and he knew she'd always come back. She wished that he could fly with her, but that was not possible. She could tell he envied her. Her ability to fly forever and ever.
Perhaps someday she could show him what it was like up here. No worries, no stress, no nothing. Only sky.
Perhaps someday......

When daytime turns to night,
When the moon shines bright,
When you're tucked in tight,
and everything's alright.

Slip softly to that place,
Where secret thoughts run free,
There come face to face
With who you want to be, so

Swim across the ocean blue,
Fly a rocket to the moon;
You can change your life,
Or you can change the world.

Take a chance, don't be afraid,
Life is yours to live;
Take a chance, and then the best has yet to come

Make a wish, it's up to you.
Find the strength inside,
Then watch your dreams come true.
You don't need a shooting star,
the magic's right there in your heart;
Close your eyes,
Believe and make a wish...

I've always hoped for happiness,
And finally fulfilled my wish;
Cause I just need to see you smile.

Make a wish, it's up to you.
Find the strength inside,
then watch your dreams come true.
You don't need a shooting star,
the magic's right there in your heart;
Close your eyes,
Believe and make a wish...

Make a wish...

This form is completed, I guess. I'm pretty proud of it, but I know I probably won't win. Good luck to everyone applying for this beauty.

I'm really tired at the moment, so if you want a long and detailed reason as to why you've won, just remind me of it tomorrow.
Congrats. And happy birthday.
