Re: Tracker Dogs V3.0 [Available Trackers]

Postby SpartanAmethyst » Tue Dec 06, 2011 8:33 am

Tracker Dog #80 I Available until 16th
Gender: Male
A rather large Tracker, towering even above the largest standard canines. He measures at 115cm from paw to shoulder. He takes pride in his size and strength. He was made to accompany skydivers, stunt pilots and other daredevils in the sky, yet isn't bound to this alone. Any job would suit him, as long as he has plenty of room. This canine demands a strong and active owner whom isn't afraid of a challenge.

Tracker Dog you want:
Tracker 0080; #80

Name you'll give it:
Sankhyā Āśi
"Sahnk-yah ah-see"
In Bengali, it translates to "Number Eighty".
He goes by Āśi for short.

Care:
Being an aerial, his fur is a medium thickness in summer, but can get thick in the winter; this protects him from the high-altitude chill he may experience when flying. His coat only requires brushing in the fall & spring, and supplemental brushing during the summer. It is not suggested during the winter because it could remove the oils that make his coat a better insulator. Overbrushing in the summer could cause the loss of oils as well; twice a week would keep him from becoming overheated, as well as access to a shady or air-conditioned area. Every other day the membranes of his 'wings' need to be cleaned gently with a damp cloth to remove dust and debris, so it won't hinder his flight. Sometimes it may need to be cleaned more often.

He needs innoculations every fall, as well as preventative for heartworms during the spring, summer, & fall. During the winter it becomes too cold for mosquitoes to survive so there's no need. Preventative for hookworms and roundworms in the spring is optional.

Interests:
.Flying
.Skydiving
.Endurance runs
.Hiking
.White water rafting
.Snow activities
.Bird watching & insect collecting with his handler

Likes:
*Night
*Quiet
*Fireworks
*Snow and cold weather
*Fall and the changing of the leaves
*The open wilderness
*Working the night shift in the city
*Nickelback. Pretty much the only band he listens to.
*Lightning and rain, as long as he isn't flying in the storm.

Dislikes:
'Loud, sudden noises, like gunfire. He can deal with it, but if he doesn't have to listen he won't. Fireworks are an exception.
'Blood; he just hates the sight and scent of it as makes him sick.
'Heat and bright sunlight.
'Small dogs, such as chihuahuas and lhasa apso's. They get on his nerves.
'Rap and country music. Most music for that matter.
'Extrememly loud thunder; when a storm rolls around, Āśi gets his owner to either turn up the TV, put on his iPod, or put earplugs in Āśi's ears.
'Working day shift

Quirks:
*Being as he doesn't like country music and Arya's husband does, Āśi has learned how to turn the home stereo system off. This results in a constant battle between tracker and husband for control of the radio.
*Despite not having opposable thumbs, Āśi has learned how to make coffee using the brewer machine. He's very careful not to get saliva in it, but sometimes he just can't help it. But saliva or not, Arya is always grateful when she gets up and always rewards him.

Jobs
Off the Ranch Āśi is a hard-working police dog. He's one of the "midnight boys", keeping the streets safe in the dark hours before dawn. He wears a radio collar in which Arya is able to track him with. The collar also has on a microphone, and Āśi is to give three short barks when he's found something, whether it be a track, a speeding driver, or a crime down on the city streets.

On the Ranch Āśi loves to help with the cattle. Every evening he makes a patrol run, looking for any predators that might injure or kill the cattle, sheep, or pigs. During cattle drives he helps Arya's husband Alex herd the cattle and will fly over them and signal Alex for stragglers. All, of course, when's he isn't sleeping and getting ready for the night shift.

Reason why you want it:
I've really been looking forward to having a Tracker dog for a long time, and didn't manage to win last time. I was hoping for customs to open because Aerials are my favorite, and instead this guy comes along. I really didn't have an idea for what I want a tracker to look like, but he's just absolutely gorgeous. I love the gold stripes on his haunches <3

Will it be used in any kind of story?
Eventually he will be, once I get done with all my current works in progress. I might still make the mystery I had been planning when I saw the purple female stealth tracker, but with Āśi here instead. If I win him, of course. Āśi would be the lead dog of the patrol squadron, though with his highly sensitive scent receptor he would also make a great search dog. *fangirl moment*

Describe its personality:
Focused
Once he's got his eyes set on something, then he won't let it go. This makes him a great tracker and an amazing leader, and has only lost a few tracks that he's found.

Honest
He tells it like it is. Sometimes it will hurt your feelings, but he won't lie. He thinks it better that you can go ahead and alter your ways so that you won't make a fool of yourself or hurt yourself more later on.

Loyal
If you're good to him, then he's your right hand man. He'll protect you with his life if he has to; it's what he feels his purpose is. Protection to his handler and the cities' citizens.

Driven/Motivated
Born (or created, whichever ^^;) with an innate forward momentum, he's his own pep talk. No matter how much he wants to stop and rest, he absolutely won't until the job is done. He constantly seeks improvement in his skills, endurance, and agility, and loves to train. Abosolutely adores it.

Tenacious
Nothing short of death will stop him; most of the time injury won't either unless Arya stops him. No matter the situation or the outcome, this tracker just keeps moving forward like a soldier on march.

"One-Person Tracker"
If you aren't Arya, then most likely Āśi won't listen to you 100% of the time. Of course he has exceptions, but whatever Arya says, he does the first time he's told, immediately and correctly. He holds a strong bond with her, and she's the only one allowed to truly pet him. Though he does allow Alex and the ranch hands to pat him on the head or shoulder when they praise him for a good job done.

Patient
When one of the ranch hand's young children, or any young child for that matter, catches sight of him, most think he'd be agressive or unwilling to let them near him. But Āśi is the exact opposite: he actually loves kids. When it gets to be a little too much he'll look up at Arya to let her know, but for the most part he'll happily let children pet him. As long as they don't touch his wings.

Willing
He's always willing to take advice on how to improve or make himself more efficient. Just don't make it sound condescending. He hates that.

Overzealous
Sometimes he can become very overzealous, especially right before a chase. He's been known to bark and whine, pacing the back of the squad car until he's let off the chain, so to speak. One of his highs is to feel the adrenaline go as he runs down a suspect and catches him. For him, it's the best part of the job, even though it's dangerous.

His Handler
His handler in a 29 year old woman named Arya. Arya is a thin, woman with long, golden-brown hair and a perfected military bearing, but she also enjoys to smile and laugh with her colleagues and friends. She is a Lieutenant in the St. Paul Police Department K-9 Unit, and is very athletic & enjoys long runs to keep fit. Arya owns a house outside the city, a big track of land where her husband works as a cattle rancher. She travels 13 miles to get to the city. She herself is fiercly loyal and very persistent; she does not give up easily. During her free time she likes to run the trails on her ranch, kayak, hike, and skydive. This makes Āśi perfect for her. Arya also hunts and rides horses in her free time, which is critical for life on the ranch as they have cattle to move. A total of twelve people live on the ranch: Arya and her husband, 7 ranch hands, 2 of the ranch hands have wives that live with them on ranch property. The main ranch hand Johnny has a son that helps take care of the horses.

Write an introduction for your Tracker

Run.

The big Tracker's breath condensed in the cold night air. His legs ate up the concrete roof, crossing it easily with long strides.

It's coming closer.

Lean muscles tightened and relaxed underneath his grey and gold hide. This is what he was built for; this was his time in the spotlight.

Jump.

Suddenly the edge of the skyscraper was at his front paws. He gave a great leap, spreading his wings as the membranes caught the wind's updraft, searching for his target beneath him. There; the only human running, and against the grain at that, but he was still unsure. Was that his target? Looking back a little bit farther, he saw the heat signatures of two more people chasing the first. Yep, that was him. Tilting his wings he banked slightly left, he pointed his muzzle downwards and tucked his wings, gaining speed as he shot through the clouds like a bullet, straight for the first running figure. Luckily for him, the two chasing the man were moving him out of the crowds. Good. He'd be able to see him better. He tucked his wings farther as he sloped downwards, plumetting into lower and lower altitudes. This guy wouldn't get away again. Careful of hurting his wings, the Tracker flared them, quickly braking right before he hit the ground. His trajectory had been off, but at least he'd landed right behind the man; his front paws hit the ground and he immediately began running, tucking his wings without missing a beat.

"Get him!"

At the command Āśi bunched his muscles and leapt forward, sinking his teeth into the man's right arm and dragging him down. The two rolled for a moment, a brief rough and tumble before the assailant finally gave up. By then, Arya and her partner Ben had caught up to the two. Arya kept her gun pointed threateningly at the man as Ben reached forward and began to handcuff him. As soon as he was secured, Āśi released the man, took two steps back, and sat patiently, waiting on his next command.

"Jason A. Scott, you are under arrest and have the right to remain silent. Anything you say will be used against you in....."

Āśi let Ben's voice fade to the back of his mind. He looked up at Arya, watching her as she helped shove the criminal into the back of hers and Ben's squad car. The man got into the driver's seat of their shared squad car, nodding a goodbye to Arya as he drove off.

"Well, that's the end of our shift, boy," Arya said, turning to look at the male Tracker. Her eyes met his visual receptors, and she knew what he was waiting for. "Good job, Āśi," she praised him, the tracker's chest puffing out and his tail wagging slightly. "Hungry?" She asked, and he gave a short, deep bark as he stood and walked beside her. He needed no lead; on his good side, he followed commands obiendiently. On his downside, he only followed the commands that came from Arya. He had respect for very few others on the police force. And it wasn't that he was the stuck up, "I'm better than everyone" type; no, it was because he was different and no one respected him. He was the "big shot", the one who got high marks on everything. This was only because he focused on his job.

The two quietly padded to the local diner to grab their typical early morning burger. The sun was just beginning to peek over the skyline, chasing away the darkness and signalling for the St. Paul Police Department the coming change of shifts. As the two entered the old-time diner, the store having just opened, Āśi trotted over and leapt into his and Arya's usual booth in the back. Arya laughed and came to sit across from him. After a few moments a round, portly man with a pudgy face adorned by laugh lines came and set two burgers in front of them, Arya's with everything and Āśi's only a bun, the patty, and some mayonnaise. Āśi immediately delved into his, taking care not to make a mess and succeeding in his endeavor. Arya took her time, cutting the huge burger in half and fixing the other half exactly like Āśi's. As soon as he had finished his, she placed her second burger half on his plate as she finished her half. Āśi inhaled that portion too, licking his lips happily. After the two finished and sat for a few minutes, Arya talking and Āśi replying with short, low barks or silent nods/shakes of his head, the two stood. "Thanks Porky," Arya called, leaving a $10 bill on the table. The two then exited the diner, walking slowly and confidently back to the parking lot in which Arya's car sat waiting. She opened the door of the gold and black Camaro, the big male Tracker jumping into the passenger's seat as Arya sat in the driver's seat.

((Ah total WB right now o.o If I don't finish, I apologize XD I gotta go finish the art!~))

Tracker Dog Application
Username: I LOVE MTV TEEN WOLF
Tracker Dog you want: #80
Name you'll give it: Thanator (meaning: a scary, huge dog-like creature with an attitude and a mouth full of teeth)
Reason why you want it: I would like this tracker because i have been watching this thread for a while, and i decided i really liked this sweet guy^^. I think he is one of the most gorgeous tracker dogs i have seen in a while, and i absolutely ADORE his design and coloration. And i think its really cool that i have a sky-diving fursona named Rick who he would go fit in perfectly with.

Will it be used in any kind of story?: Probably not.
Describe its personality: Thanator is a sweet, lovable, great-dane type who loves to joke around. He shows off his size to the ladies, and isn't afraid of anything the same size or smaller than him. He loves flying, but could also work somewhere as long as he got plenty of exercise. He watches the sky constantly, hoping and waiting for the one master who will take him soaring.

Write an introduction for your Tracker: I look at the three trackers in the adoption center, one of which catches my eye. The huge animal was curled in the corner, looking completely unhappy and about as miserable as i was. I had never really liked dogs, but this out-of the world black and yellow tracker had gotten my attention. Slowly, carefully, i raised my hand towards the dog. he didn't move. I tilted my head. I liked this one. Turning to the overly helpful chess-club type lady who was showing me around, i pointed to the handsome tracker who had stolen my heart. "That one, please."

The second tracker Isn't showing for me. :'( I've tried everything but Its not working...

Wow, I love this event, It would be so amazing to have a tracker appear on christmas day<333

I would be amazed to recieve a gift! 8U
Username:
Becca~ash

Name:
Mullixhi

My perfect little tracker,
To arrive on christmas day,
wrapped carefully with hand-made silk,
as beautiful as Majorcas' bay.
The silk folds into my palms,
leaving a air-hole punched box,
left in my awkward arms.
Unfolding it gently,
Ever so carefully,
I see slight movements,
ever so delicate breathing.
It looked blank,
Exited yet scared,
a pure white creature,
soft as the reindeers velvet fur.
As white as the snow,
oh the so wonderful snow.

What is this tracker all about?
A stealth. Built for great deeds. Night, a time where children and even adults may get scared all around the world. A subject we all share, fear. Mullixhi will wander streets and enter houses for the hope of children being comforted by her appearance. She is a strong character, and will make sure she will do whatever make sthe child feel safe. The wierd glow from her necklace makes the children seem okay with this 'random' creature being in their room. Silently this tracker approaches this confused human, It sits. They often become comforted and accept it as a sending to ward away nightmares. With opptimistic thoughts, the child sleeps happily, dreams. Whearas if there happens to be a child already asleep, unable to open there eyes due to the fright, Mullixhi will slowly move her tail around, the Dream catcher will make a soft noise and the child will be eased into a happier place with a freindly dream. One each house is done in that road, it is unlikely she will ever visit that street again. She rarely sleeps, quickly moving from one town to anouther, to a city then to a village. Whilst one side of the earth is awake and active, there will always be people somewhere not able to sleep.

The favourite place for this tracker to visit is the hospital. Mullixhi will not pick random hospitals, she will sense where help is needed and distinguish if it is just wanted or if it is needed. Her favourite hospital is quite a small one located in bedfordshire, England. Children with many different illnesses lay in these halls, scared of what the next day will bring. At least give them a chance to have a safe, appreiciated night. Mullixhi will walk the wards, untill each child is asleep and happy.

Christmas is a busy time. Speed is the key. She will make sure every child is asleep before midnight, and won't give up untill she does so.

Design
Form:
A adorable stealth. I'm pretty sad many have chose this wonderful tracker, I can understand why though. The reason behind this is simple, yet detailed. Since this tracker is planned to be known as the "Nightmare tracker", more explained above, I need a small, quick tracker to sneak around all the houses into all the childrens rooms without them noticing. It is perfect for the job, small, fast and suttle. Any other tracker would not suit this specific job as I don't believe they have the right combination of skills. The wild or normal, both to bulky or obvious. The aquatic, namely for water based duties, nothing to do with this specific call. Aerial. The wonderful swift aerail, second choice for the job. Speedy and slim, can view from above what houses may need help or need to. Though of coarse, the stealth tops them all, the perfect fit.

Colour scheme:
Image

*There should also be white, yes, pure white. Thanks.*

Design patterns:
Pure white base colour. I'd love some cloud pattern to it. Thankyou, please experament with different patterns. A intrecate pattern would suit it amazingly what I'm imagining.

Eye colours/markings:
The insides of the trackers ears and the bar along the nose should be a gradient of all the colours above in the palette displayed. It symbolises the basic colours of a cloud. The eyes should be the darkest of the clours above, the grey-y blue colour.

Accessories:
A necklace. Not just any necklace, the one symbolising the devil. Three Sixes should be involved. A dim glow should appear off of this necklace, a faint colour, one from the colour pallete, I don't mind much which one <3 Maybe, if Its not to much trouble, hanging of the tail or somehwere a Dream catcher, It would be stunning.

Alternate:
I think this is an amazing Idea. A chance for people to possibly retrieve their perhaps dream tracker, thankyou, both LCD and Nex for keeping trackers going. This spieces has had a great outcome, you guys should be proud.

Tracker Dog Application

Image

Username: Wolves Run Free
Trainers name: Dana
Tracker Dog applying for: seventy-nine, or 79.
Name seventy-nine is assigned: Nightmare
Job assigned: FBI force
Information about the job: Classified information.

Gender of creature: Female
Creator: Nex
Form: Normal
Age: Two years
Height: 83 centimeters
Weight: 62 pounds
Known information on habits and work:
A very silent canine. She minds her steps and never barks unless she's warning her handler. She's observant and very clever. Her markings glow at will, making her easier to spot in a darker area. When this glow is dimmed, she's next to impossible to spot at night, making her a nocturnal Tracker. Even though she may seem distant, she loves affection as much as any dog and will return this affection too.

Reason why tracker dog is being assigned this person: Design- Nightmare has a stunning design, filled with mystery, violence, and hope. They match her personality, and how much glows is simply beautiful. Temperament- Loving, quiet, smart, this tracker dog has it all. WIth a stoic face and a open heart, she steals your admiration and runs away with it. It matches her new job, and she would fill many other jobs as well. Colors- The purple, gray, and black make it appear as if she has appeared fro The Twilight Zone. A air of mystery accompanies her. That, and purple is just such a cuuuuteee color!!! <333
Not to mention I have been after these beautiful dears for a while, and at first number eighty looked great. But the more I looked at him, the more I didn't feel like he would fit what I had in mind. And he was sure to get a loving home- already a lot of people appeared like they were going to go for him. And then I noticed this gorgeous tracker dog, and I looked up to see who wanted her so far. It stunned me that no one had yet, and I felt a weakness for her start to grow.
FROM DANA'S VIEW: Hey, how did reporters get in my room? What? You want to know about Nightmare? And why her? Well what can I say? I was pressured into getting a dog. PRESSURED. Not wanted. I mean, dogs are so messy and annoying and this one glows. -_- And she... well she does look cool, and guess she looks pretty cool. But don't get the wrong ides there!

Will it be used in any kind of story? Heck, yeah. I am thinking of a small story about her already, one that includes the mystery of were-wolves and the like. And I am thinking of just another story about all of my canine characters anyways <333

Describe its personality:

NOTE: Viewed by FBI Agent Dana, In the middle of the briefing at the bottom about the tracker. See notes.

Personality Blog; Personality 1-
Trait: Thoughtful and smart
From trainers view~
The normal canine stood, watching the learning games with its sensors. It's ears were pricked, and its markings glowed softly. I scribbled down Timid on my special clip board when it took a step back, and the scientist standing behind me cast a nervous look at the paper. He did need to be nervous- The other canines were inappropriate for my kind of work. And if this one didn't work, my corporation would not help pay for their research. I trained my eyes on the creature again; it seemed to be shivering slightly. Was it one of the scared ones? That wouldn't work. Then it bounded towards the ball they were trying to show the beast how to get it into the hoop, and easily bit the ball, trotted over, and dropped it in front of our shocked eyes. Without a word, I crossed out Timid on my paper.

Personality Blog; Personality 2-
Trait: Observant
From trainers view~
Next they tested the creature, called seventy-nine, by a trap room. By trap room, I meant a room filled with sleeping darts, closing walls (made of elastic, just in case) and every other trap you can think of. The scientist beside me quietly pointed out a pattern with all the traps, how they moved, how they were disarmed. None so far had made it completely through, but they could go far into the room. The tracker dog quietly watched the machines, like before, before running forward. She did a small belly slid, kicking her hind legs for direction. In front of our amazed eyes, she avoided almost all the traps, until the walls closed in on her and paused when she was tightly wedged between the soft sides, scrabbling to go forward. Her percentage completed was 82%, while the normal was 37%. The trick was like they had told me, but she never got up and ran at the point she was stopped at. But it was a marvel she had seen that.

Personality Blog; Personality 3-
Trait: Hardy
From the trainers point of view~
They flipped the switch and released the dog from the trap, and by then I was most curious about this creature. It had potential, I will give it that. They hooked a vest around it's legs, and it sniffed the leash curiously. They led it to a tread mill, and turned it on at a slow walk. The dog started, its glow pulsing in the narrow room. It started to pant as they kept turning it up, and they placed a mattress behind the treadmill. When the dog creature was running as fast as it could, tongue flying past it, it was panting loudly. For thirty-two minutes it ran at top speed, faster than any human could have run. Then it stumbled, and was dumped onto the mattress. It looked up at us- or it smelled up at us, as I couldn't see any eyes, but it seemed to grin before it plopped its head back down on the mattress.

Personality Blog; Personality 4-
Trait: Trusting
From the trainers point of view~
It was on the fourth trial I encountered a problem with this canine. They were showing it to different people, wearing protective gear. They stood menacing, but called the canine in a soft voice. To see if it trusted people perhaps too easily. And to everyone's surprise, it trotted over and nudged the guy hopefully. He frowned, then smacked the dog. It wouldn't hurt too bad, but it made a loud noise and hurt the dogs ear on purpose too. The canine whined, and hid behind the person supervising, before it was shooed to a different person wearing the gear. And to my surprise, it happened again and again. The dog even seemed to guess they would hurt her, but it just went to the people hopefully. It took twelve tries to get her to growl when a new guy came out to her.

Personality Blog; Personality 5-
Trait: Affectionate
From the trainers point of view~
Despite the canines flaw, she looked like she could be trained to work as an excellent FBI canine. The last test was to see if she could take to me- a simple test but could decide the outcome completely. I strode into the small pen, and the tired and quiet little girl pointed her muzzle t me like she had eyes. I crouched, and called her in my command voice. Seventy-nine's ears went up, and she stiffened, so I lost the brisk tone in my voice. Then I called again. This time her tail wagged once, and she got up and trotted over to deliver a huge lick on my face. I picked her up gently (she weighed quite a bit but I was used to lifting heavy things in my job) and turned to the scientist. "I'll take her."

I sat stiffly at my desk, flipping through papers in my hand with recent cases needing to be finished, and sighed tiredly. "Too many crooks, paranoia activity, and everything else to take care of." I reached out and picked up a small name tag reading 'DANA- FBI AGENT' in clear, bold letters. When I had first been accepted into the FBI I had been so excited, but now I was tired and bored. I turned and absently punched in some numbers into my phone, and picked it up.
"Agent 2, I was hoping you would call. Did you know that a criminal apparently has invented this machine that transforms living matter into a different creation? She robbed a science lab an hour ago and turned the scientist into rabbits. Rabbits, I say!" A male voice told her, it's voice thick with emotion. "I'm calling off your other missions, give them to Agent 92, okay? I need you to work on this case, quick! This could be a disaster!"
I tried to interrupt. "But, sir, I'm busy, can't you give Agent-"
"No, no, no!" My boss said, whose name was actually Carlos. "You are one of the best, you can do it fine!"
"But sir, I am so busy, the cases take so long to solve, and the police are too busy as well, can't you-"
"Its an order, Agent 2. And if that is your problem, than why not get a dog? Dogs are nice. In fact, dogs are great. Yes, a German Shepard should help you with this case too, I can send you one, so..."
"No! I don't want one of those dogs."
"It would help..."
"No way! They shed everywhere, are dumb, and always get themselves lost or killed!"
There was silence on the other line for a moment. Then, a simple statement.
"I can get you a better one."

The hand that stroked me was firm and warm. I bumped her hand with my head, politely asking to be scratched in my favorite place. The human laughed, her other hand reaching up to scratch behind my ears. What was her name? I didn't really remember. She was just a scientist, one of the many who took care of me. I just had to know who to avoid and who to ask for affection. This was one of the later ones.
The doors opened with a whirling sound, automatically swinging open as foot steps walked in. I has smelled her coming, and new Creator was here. I twitched my ears in greeting, and hoped up onto the table where she checked me for some odd two-legged reason. I wouldn't know what exactly.
"Doctor Nexivyle Ta'ar," the person who had been petting me said quietly. "Is there any news?"
I could feel their eyes on my, and the hazy picture of two green botches were moving towards the table.
"Apparently the FBI wants one. I got a call earlier, and an agent is over here looked at eighty and seventy-eight, who are in the large test and practice area." The Creator sounded delighted and sad, and I wondered what was going on. Even now I only understood a bit of their speech to know a fellow Tracker was leaving soon. I hoped it would be eighty- he was always boasting about his flight skills. But he was fun to be with, always getting into trouble.
"We receive a grant if they pick one and take it, but the agent already has not taken to the others. Despite that we aren't done with seventy-nine, I think they will take her."
"....oh."

How had Carlos managed to get me here? The question swam in my head, and I realized I honestly had no clue. I guess I was curious at how a dog can be 'better.' I had jumped to the conclusion they were specially trained dogs, because everyone where I worked thought German Shepard's were the best police dog, although some people doubted it.
I couldn't have been more wrong about a German Shepard, but in the end I guess they were specially trained.
The smiling girl that was showing me her 'dogs' brought me to a huge room, and pulled out the oddest canine's I have ever seen. I had just stared, waiting for the pun of this joke. But it hadn't been. And one of the dogs could fly- really fly! While the other could swim like a fish. Even so, I wanted a more... I don't know, normal one? And I didn't like the others personalities. I was sure they would drive me crazy. I had thought that was it, and had turned to leave, but the lady quietly said there was one more.
And then they brought her.
She was a smooth coat, with no wings or fins, but she was a plain gray-purple with black markings. And she glowed bright purple.
At first I thought she looked odd- she was glowing, for crying out loud! But as I continue watching her, I felt a soft spot for this dog start to plant, root, and grow. (SEE PERSONALITY BLOG FOR INFO)
She was it.
The scientist looked sad and happy as they let the dog- no, Tracker Dog, leave. I had picked her up, and she lay limply, her ears swiveled backwards towards the scientist. I put her in the back seat of my black, car, and drove off.

It's my turn. I hadn't thought it would happen so soon. I had done the tests before, but not for people not living here each day. I could feel her eyes on me, and I felt uncomfortable being watched.
As the training went on, I wondered why I was going and not the others. Was I being punished? But then I realized with cold thoughts that it was my time to go, to leave.
When she called me, I realized what was going to happen if I went. And she sounded so scary!
But the scientists wanted me to go. I knew that. And so I went with her, leaving my old life behind.

As I approached the FBI building, I glanced back. The dog was laying in the back, its tongue hanging out. It seemed to guess we were here, for it sat up and swiveled it's head around. All of a sudden it's markings dimmed and faded, and it looked like an almost normal dog. Almost.
I leaned over to the small black box that had numbers on it and typed in 725384923, before scanning my finger print. The gates remained shut, instead the ground my car was on was lowered, so I entered a tunnel. The building was actually just an empty decoy- our real base was underground. I parked in one of the pockets in the wall for this purpose, and the dog hopped out. She seemed completely at ease with the tunnel, and she faded into the darkness like it welcomed her.
"Like a nightmare," I muttered to himself softly, straining my eyes to look for her. "A living nightmare."
As if on command, her markings started to softly glow, marking everything with a shade of light purple. I strode forward, and she followed quietly. Soon we were in front of an elevator.
The doors slid open, and we padded in. The buttons glowed orange, and on command the elevator lurched up. Nightmare, for that was what i decided to call her, stiffened, her head facing the doors. She let out a small growl as they opened, the first sound I had heard her make since I chose her.
Of course Carlos stood there, a smile flashing on his face. "Ah, you got one!" He strode over with the air of a professional, and leaned down to stroke Nightmare, who titled her head up and leaned against him. Her glowing markings seemed to pulse, creating an eerie affect. Carlos seemed enchanted by it, and stared at me. "Did you name it?"
I felt myself blush. "Her? Yes, um, her name is Nightmare."
"A good name for her."
"...yes."
"Well, know you have her, I expect you to get to work on the case at once."
"..."

The vest felt scratchy against my skin, covering my front chest. I couldn't tell the color, but it was made of stiff leather, with double straps across the chest and an attached collar. A leash tugged my neck back into the tunnel, and out of instinct I allowed my markings to dim. Of course the darkness did not bother me- I couldn't see light anyway. But I could tell if it was dark in these tunnels by how closed they were, and if there were any human-suns around.
We didn't take the car again. I only knew it was called 'car' because I lived with humans my whole life. Lesser dogs call it a monster- how silly. I nudged the girls leg, hoping to be rubbed, but she only nudged me away and muttered something I couldn't hear.
She pulled me into another door, this one smelling like the lab I had grown up in. I suspected this was the same concept. Inside another human came up to girl, and handed her a bag. I watched the humans hunched over tables, wishing I could see more color than heat vision. Then girl leaned over and pushed a piece of cloth in front of my nose.
"Pick up the scent," she said calmly in that stiff voice. I obediently smelled the cloth, and smelled a human female, around the height of humans lives. A faint smell of rabbits were there, too. I wagged my tail, and was pulled back to the car. We hopped in and drove off.

As I turned into the suspected area, I heard a rustle as Nightmare sat up. From a distance, the small white building with exactly twelve windows looked like a school, clean and dull. "Who would had thought to guess they had once had one of the most wanted anti gravity machines?" I muttered to herself.
The door squeaked when I opened it, and Nightmare scampered in before me, ears purposely pricked for noise. If I hadn't been so wary, I would have laughed at her cute concentration. The smell was of smoke and the silence was so heavy feeling it felt like the room's air weighed 300 pounds. The room was pitch black, the lights off, so when I entered the room I ran into Nightmare, who's markings were out cold, and her body stiff. I turned and searched the wall for a light switch, and shut my eyes as I flicked it on. When I was sure my pupils had adjusted, I opened them again and realized why Nightmare had stiffened.
Rabbits.
Not a few here or there, but about two hundred rabbits were hopping around in alarm. I felt sick to my stomach when I realized these were the scientist. Beside me, Nightmare stiffened even more and then nudged me hard opening her mouth and howling and barking urgently at me.
"Shhhhh, Nightmare, what is it? You haven't barked like this before." I asked her, the silence shattered by the two of us. Nightmare seemed to be pleading with me to leave, but I ignored her. "It must be she doesn't like labs," I said. "Or rabbits."
After an hour, I gave up.There was no evidence. But the anti gravity machine was indeed gone. I turned around, expecting to see Nightmare, but she wasn't there. I shrugged, figuring she went to explore or wait by the door. I whistled like the scientist had shown me, and was surprised when she didn't appear. And all of a sudden I had a very, very bad feeling.
"Nightmare?" I called, running now, gasping for breath. Rabbits scattered in front of me, but I was frantic now, because I knew something was wrong. "NIGHTMARE!"

It had happened so quickly. One moment I was walking quietly behind the girl, the next a net tossed over me and I hand clamped around my snout. I had kicked and struggled, but an iron muzzle was forced on my face and I was unceremoniously dumped into a bag and dragged off.
And here I was, trapped in a trunk. I growled angrily, furious with myself. I should have warned the girl better! But she couldn't have known they were waiting for us, lurking in the dark. I hoped she was okay.
I couldn't say the same for myself.

My tires had been slashed. I had found the doors locked in the lab and had had to break a window to escape. And now I was stranded anyways. Blood trickled from a glass cut, and I felt exhausted from my dash for Nightmare. I opened my cell phone and quietly asked for an agent to pick me up. By now I knew I would probably never see Nightmare again, and for some odd reason this pained me greatly. I had grown to like the little dog in the brief time I had got to know her.
When the rain started to drip down, I felt tears coming on. I tried to hold them so I wouldn't cry, but they slipped through my squeezed shut eye lids and pattered on the ground, unnoticeable in the rain.

I was allowed into a small pen, and by then I was already thinking of escape. I suspected these humans wanted me out of the way, because it was an iron dog carrier with a heavy weight tied to it. I didn't know what it meant, but I had a pretty good idea of the outcome.
I obediently crept into the cage, knowing I couldn't fight the strong male watching me. I stoically sat down, wishing I was anywhere else. The cage door was clanged shut, and I stiffened as three people picked it up, two for the main cage and one for the weight. The ground creaked as they walked on it, and it smelled strongly of wood. I heard water rushing below us, and realized what they were doing.
No! I scrambled up, but the humans laughed. Then they rested it on the rail separating me from my watery death, and kicked the cage. As I plummeted, I was shaking I scrambled to the latch and unsuccessfully tried to open it before I hit the water.
The water was freezing, and I was knocked off of my feet. The rapid water current dragged the cage forward, but it was sinking fast, making me choke and splutter when I swallowed water. I was gaining speed, and I couldn't smell anything but wet Tracker dog and water.
So I wasn't expecting it when the cage rammed into a huge rock. It started to sink, and I panicked, but as I pawed at the bars in a last futile attempt, my paw didn't meet bars. Instead it swooshed through a small opening. I was gasping now, swallowing water as I jammed my body out and into the current where I was scared at being rammed into rocks like my crate.
It was very lucky that I ran into a boat and was scooped out. I couldn't tell who did it, but I licked their hand as I vomited up water before collapsing into a deep sleep.

I was staring out the window, silent as ice. A soft knock came from my door, but I ignored it. The door opened anyway, and Carlos peeked in. He was holding something in his arms, and I scowled as whatever it was appeared soaking wet as it dripped onto the wooden floor. "What is it?" I snapped. Carlos blinked, as he knew for the past four hours my mood has been dangerously emotional.
He seemed to search for the right words before answering. "Agent 2... I mean Dana." He offered a small smile. "I want you to... take a temporary break from your job..." He rushed on as I stiffened. "No, no! It isn't like that. I think you could help train the newest member of our team..."
"Why should I?" I snapped, my voice cracking. "I failed the last mission almost immediately! I should quit anyways."
Carlos smiled. "Actually, the target was captured thirty minutes ago by a half dozen cops and seventeen FBI agents. Luckily they figured out how to help the scientist turn back into their original forms, so it's okay. Even then, the guys had a bunch of trouble catching her. It was that hard, it was my fault." He placed the dripping wet thing on the floor. "This is for you," he called over his shoulder as he left. "Take care of it on your one month break."
I snorted, and turned around to look out the window for a long moment. Then I sighed and stood to look at the thing he had left behind. It was gray and black and looked surprisingly like... no it couldn't be....
"Nightmare? Nightmare!" I rushed over to the sleeping Tracker Dog and pulled her close. She woke up and offered me a lick on the cheek, and before I knew it I was once again sobbing. I really needed to get a hold on my emotions, but today was a bit crazy for me. "Nightmare, I'm sorry, it won't happen again..." I whispered to her. She twisted her head and seemed to look at me, nuzzling my face. Then she laid her head on my lap and relaxed into sleep once more.

Gender: Female
Name: Unknown until I see the design, if I am chosen of course. But something around the lines of Masquerade.

Design
Form: Wild
Colour scheme: Kind of like this, but no yellow if possible. Base a black, tan or maybe white.
Design patterns: Elegant swirls, dots kind of like this.
Eye colours/markings: The colors of her markings could possibly be a blue that kind of flows together with purple, red, and maybe black. It depends on the base color.
Accessories: Maybe a masquerade mask, because she would be a show Tracker, or some feathers in her fur.
Alternate: Thank you for giving us this chance to have a custom Tracker for Christmas, you are beyond generous to give up your time and do this. <3

It was different when there was a Stark in
Winterfell.

But the old wolf's dead and the young one's gone south

to play the
Game of Thrones,

and all that's left us is the ghosts.

The holidays are here again,
And Jesse is looking for his new friend.

One that can help him search in the cold snow,
Where the air supply is low.

Jesse's in need of a Tracker,
One that's the opposite of a lacker.

He works on high mountains, where the tempature is below zero,
But who could be brave enough, to be someone else's hero?

Jesse's looking for a compainion, a pal, a friend,
Someone to help him find others when they're in a bend.

Design

Form:
It would be best if he was a wild, due to the colder weather, the extra fur would keep him warm enough.

Colour scheme:
White, dark purple, and gold.[/color]

Design patterns:
I would like his feet to be white and look like snow near the top of his leg. Most of his body should be dark purple with golden swirls wherever you seem right. ^^

Eye colours/markings:
Eye color should be a light purple, and there should be simple swirls like on the body.

Accessories:
N/A
Alternate:

(I have decided not to apply for a present. Please ignore this.)

I wanna be a bottle blonde, I don't know why but I feel gone.
