Thank you all for the amazing entries! As usual, I loved reading the way the Meadow PPs were portrayed!

holmes221B's entry:Welcome, one and all, to the grand library of everything! *clears throat* Yes, I do need to work on the title.
So, are you here to learn? Oh, you want to know about a specific subject? Pixel Pups? Yes, that is quite popular these days. Meadows? My, my, you are quite the audacious one. Hmm. Alright, right this way. Meadows have a very interesting backstory, you see.
Ah, the joy of summer. Usually people assume that flowers bloom in spring, but they can also bloom in the summer. A flower blooming seems like a simple thing. Not to Meadows, however.
You see, Meadows came from flowers. Yes, literally. You can see from this page. Yes, yes, I know it's ripped, a young child committed the crime. Hurry up and read it!
Page 32 wrote:Meadows originally came from flowers. There are many types of flowers in the world, but that's the interesting part! Meadows can have traits depending on the flower they came from. For instance, let's say a Meadow came from a rose. Roses are beautiful, though they have thorns, so the Meadow Pixel Pup may have thorns on its tail or it may have actually roses as ears!
Yes, yes, hurry along now. You don't want to be here reading this when there is a lot more to say upon the matter!
Meadows are extremely hard to find, so if you do find one, consider yourself lucky! If one chooses you to be his or her owner, go buy yourself a cake or throw a fiesta. I'm not joking, I'm serious! Some Meadows may be picky about their owners since they love hanging around flowers so much. They also have a habit of picking flower petals. What?! You know a Meadow that has this habit?! *shakes head in disbelief*
I suppose the basics have been laid out for you. Do you have any questions?
Why do they come from a flower? Well, that is the question that many people have been asking as well. Scientists (and other curious beings) are trying to figure out the answer, but there is not success so far.
May I ask why did you want to know about Meadows? A Pixel Pup Summer Event, you say? And... did you say there are Meadows there?
f1owercrown's entry:Many years ago, instances of extreme outbreaks of animals were recorded. The increase of number of prey due to extensive breeding caused an equal spike in the number of wildlife predators, reports showed. As such, small animals everywhere were left to fend for themselves in these times. Natural selection and evolution, however, were not exclusive from this situation.
Scientists from Pixel Pups Co. recently discovered new breeds of dogs during their field trip to different meadows. Each group of scientists per meadow reported different accounts of the new meadow breed: some dogs had flower collars, some had green flower tails, some had white flower ears, etc.. Could these dogs have any correlation to the outbreak of predators years back?
Several puppies were brought back to headquarters to be examined. A high amount of pollen was detected in their systems, and it was shown that puppies exposed to light were more active than those kept in the dark. It was then confirmed that these puppies could photosynthesize like any plant, but the greater amount of flower parts on the dog, the more water it needed to survive.
After more research, scientists discovered that almost all of these dogs' ancestors originated from the mountains before coming down to the meadows. The outbreak of predators forced these dogs to hide among tall grasses in meadows, causing the dogs to inhale more flower pollen than regular. This allowed changes in the system of the dogs. Soon, evolution took its toll, and generations of these dogs hiding among the meadows had them grow flowers on their ears, tail, and collar. This was an adaptation in order for the dogs to blend more in the grass, lessening the chances of predators finding them.
Different breeds of the dogs could be explained by the different meadows each group of dogs hid in. Dogs that lived in floodplain meadows had larger floral collars due to the abundance of river water, whereas those in neutral meadows had little to none of the characteristic. Those with white flower tails were seen to live in meadows with prominent white flowers such as dandelions and daisies, while those with green flower tails lived in meadows with more colored flowers. Mixed components and characteristics of the meadows allowed the dogs to evolve and adapt differently in order to suit survival needs.
Knowing all these information, scientists are now on the lookout for more dog breeds in places other than meadows.
Appledayz's entry:These strange PPs were first found in a meadow by a team of explorers on their way to Mount Everest. Trekking through the meadow, they accidentally stepped on a strange vine with a dandelion puff on its tip. A PP yelped, bumping in to strange flowers and more dandelion puffs on the way. It finally caught its balance as several of the flowers and leaves also turned round to reveal that they were PPs. The explorers were never seen again after that encounter, and only one small page from their journal was found, revealing the existence of these pups.
Today was incredible. On our way we found a meadow full of strange PPS with dandelion puffs on their heads and various different variations of leaf collars and flowers on their heads. We seem to have passed up more of these meadows than we thought, now I think about it.. We went to revisit the meadow we found them and it had gone! These meadows seem to stay in a single place for about a month before moving. Unless they're provoked of course. They seem to be quite docile but I don't know if we should have-
The pups were later sent for testing at a lab and they found that each PP had different genetics depending on the colour of their flowers and leaves. The flowers and leaves on these PPs seem to wilt if they are sick and the meadows will usually keep sick PPs and babies in the middle of the meadow.
Regardless of whether you placed or not, I enjoyed all the entries
too much, and hope you'll enter in future ones ^^
If there are future ones, I might do them by poll rather than my preference. Depends on you guys.
