Name: Mel, though her full name is Femelle (Female in French), originally her parents believed that they were only going to have sons, and by their surprise, they had Femelle instead.
Breed: American Eskimo Dog
Why do you want this animal and what will you do for it?: I was scrolling through this Pound and searching to find someone that really stuck out to me. I scrolled back and forth and none seemed to fit. Then I landed upon this pup and noticed her small female tattoo symbol. So small it went unnoticed to me the first time and I breezed past. The more I looked at her the more I really fell for her. I then noticed she has a lip ring and that just blew me away how cool she was. I would absolutely love for her to be one of my characters. I already have a fursona who I love and cherish so she would never be that or related to Meeko (my fursona). But I would love to get tons of art of her all the same. She seems really cool, almost like the rock star of the group. She just screams "Take me home, I'm too cool to be here."
Personality: Very independent and self reliant. She's a very cool and chill sort of girl. She's definitely strong willed but she's good natured. As mentioned she's kind of the rock star of the group. She's very down to earth and easy to get along with. She also has a great sense of humor and is known for being quite goofy. She's a social butterfly so to speak. Also she's a night owl and normally sleeps through the morning.
Age: Currently 24 years old though some days she acts like a crazy teenager but others she's very understanding and has wisdom beyond her years.
Sexual preference: Bisexual, she's pretty much good with everyone. She doesn't judge someone based on their gender or appearance, but rather who they are through out and what they stand for.
Mate: None yet, searching for someone to run along as crazy and as wild as she is, but not actively trying to hunt down the one. She thinks that people come into your life for a reason so if there's no one who suits you yet, then they just haven't found you yet.

Education/Intelligence: While she has no to very little education, she is very quick to learn things. Tell her something once and she's remember it. She is also very street smart and normally is able to get out of most sticky and difficult situations.
Community Status: She's more a rockstar but she definitely known for her humble beginnings and is often seen hanging out with others and not acting above them.
Political Beliefs/Affiliations: She's a moderate in every sense of the word. She has her own beliefs and you have yours. She keeps them to herself and expects others to do the same.
Hobbies/Recreations: She's a very get-up-and-go sort of dog. She's always on the move and has to be doing something. She's not crazy energetic and hyper, but she doesn't want to miss anything that life has to offer.
Ambitions/ Goals: Make it to every continent and truly see the world, not just the tourist side of life.
Fears/Anxieties/Hangups: Outwardly, none. Inward, she's worried that others will think of her as a failure. That she didn't accomplish all that she was meant to in life.

History/Background: Mel grew up in the heart of Paris. She was exposed to all the culture and glam that life had to offer. The only problem? Mel had absolutely no money. She grew up as poor as can be and simply dreamed of all that life had to offer. As a young pup, she struggled to help her family make ends meet. They always seemed to be getting into trouble of some kind or another. She then became determined to make sure that her family never had to live that way again. She would do all sorts of dead-end jobs. Anything to help her family get back on her feet. And she managed to always keep a smile on (at least while any of the bosses were around) by singing and rocking out. Originally she started off completely white like most other American Eskimos but through her random jobs, one being a chimney sweep, she got stained in soot that never seemed to come out. As she got older, her financial issues seemed to sort themselves out and she soon began to have time on her own. She didn't know what to do with this newly discovered time so she just continued singing and playing. Making whatever sounds seemed to go together. Eventually one day, someone heard her singing and beating around with normal everyday objects. They asked her if she had ever tried to play guitar. No, she answered honestly. Instruments were for children who had money and could afford to be given lessons. Mel was handed a guitar and quickly taught herself how to play. And play she did. She quickly began performing in front of others and landed herself show after show at local restaurants and bars. She was a hit. She finally had enough money to get some of the tattoos she wanted for herself. Some tribal wings to symbolize her growth and ability to fly even though she was held back by difficult times. She also got a small female tattoo on her paw in honor of her name even though she prefers Mel. Mel went on to become famous, discovering new areas and exploring all they have to offer. At the end of the day though, Mel remembers her humble beginnings and is often found helping aspiring artists to get their start in the industry as well as donating much of her money to charities to help needy families.
