Um, so there are no complete forms for CC5021 :\ This is a problem. Um... yeah. So... either I can give you one more day(aka, until tomorrow morning) to finish them and then judge both Zvers at the same time, or I can consider him unbonded and give him to no one.
I'm kinda lazy, especially when I have stuff to do. And I don't know if either person will actually finish their form tonight. So I may just give him up as a lost cause.

Alright, that puts it down to one form that is incomplete. Which means CC5021 is to be given up as escaped off-radar and unbonded.

It's alright Kita, I have some ideas as to what I may end up doing with unbonded Zvers. It won't happen for some time of course, and not until I get everything developed the rest of the way, but the unwanted won't be forgotten.

It makes me really happy to hear that, because it's always really sad when that happens :\ Makes me almost wish I'd gone for him, but then I'd be mad at myself for not going for Cam. Which I really need to just sit down and finish, speaking of...

Well, I guess seeing a design that I suggested was definitely a factor. She turned out absolutely gorgeous and has a different and interesting personality. Raccoons themselves are just such a cool species, all though a lot of their behaviours tend to be unfavourable they are still adorable.

When I first read her description, I was thinking I'd best not try for her. She just didn't seem to fit in the story that I am creating for my Zvers the way Tiergan fit. Except she was so beautiful and so different, and I couldn't stop thinking about her. It hasn't been long, yet already her personality has developed and she's created her own place in my story and my heart ^-^.

What will you do with it if you win?:

I will most definitely write a story involving her, Tiergan, and possibly a third Zver. So many of the ideas are already there. Art is a maybe, though it's still a rather high chance that I'll get art of her. Maybe try to do my own art of her. Mostly, though, the focus will be on story writing.

Ironically, this female is a bit of a hoarder.
She loves shiny objects and is easily distracted.

Cam, like the animal she shares colours and pattern with, loves shiny objects and ends up hoarding anything she can get a hold of. This hoard is special to her, and she protects it fiercely from everyone with the exception of her bond partner. The shiny objects she steals remind her of where she lived before ending up on Earth. She's developed a strong opinion on quality, anything she steals or hoards is usually of good quality, is strong, or is beautiful and the brighter the shine the better.

Normally Cam is easy-going and can seem rather lazy at times. The only exceptions are when the safety of her hoard, her bond partner, and herself are in danger, and not necessarily in that order. This part of her personality makes it easy for her to be around nearly any human even if she doesn't care for them. Small children do make her agitated and tense, one of few exceptions to her easy-going attitude.

Cam, when in a relaxed situation, is a true sweetheart. She loves attention in any form, especially a good scratch behind the ears.At times like these she is especially reminiscent of Earth's domestic cats and dogs. She adores attention in much the way that dogs do while going about recieving it much like an over grown cat. If she could, she would love to curl up on her bond partner's lap and sleep, even.

Surprisingly, Cam is actually very bright. It doesn't take her long to understand things and it's easy for her to pick up on the details. Even human language is not entirely difficult for her if she concentrates and pieces things together. Many would think otherwise, though, if they watched her for a period of time. It is extremely easy for Cam to become distracted, especially by anything that's eye-catching or shiny. These distractions make Cam appear very lacking in mental capabilities even though the opposite is true.

Her Introduction:

"Hello?" a male voice answered over the phone.

"Sir, I don't have much time, but you're going to want to hear this," a voice replied quickly, tense and distinctively female.

"Hold on a second, let me open up the line to Delta." A pause and the sharp sound of a switch being flipped. "Continue, Omega?" the first speaker said, seemingly unsurprised at the odd phone call.

"Subject Z11 escaped close to ten minutes ago, the scientists have been sending hunters in the direction of the nearest cities. This one seems promising, how do you want to proceed, sir?" the female voice explained, clearly anxious. Presumably young.

"Delta, send both Alpha and Beta team. Same as operation Z3, I want this done quick. Omega, remain on location, keep up your character. Find a way to slow down the search parties without giving yourself away." The instructions were quick with no hesitation.

"Both teams are en route now, sir," a younger male voice chimed in.

"Good," the first replied, before all three disconnected.


30 minutes earlier...


9471 paced back and forth in her cell anxiously. Ten minutes earlier lab staff had removed the metal bowl from her tiny square enclosure. Her only shiny. It felt like hours had passed, wondering every moment if they would return the item. It wasn't theirs to keep, who did they think they were?

The small Zver stopped pacing. She'd had enough of waiting, she wasn't going to stay in here any longer. Not when they took away the one shiny thing she'd had. No way, she was going to leave this lab behind and find new shinies. She lay down on her side, near the front of her cell, and began howling and wailing loudly. If things went properly, the humans would assume she was injured or sick and from there she could make her escape. The only thing she worried about was whether or not the head scientists would show up, or even worse, if Metta showed up, and ruin her plans.

Fifteen minutes later, multiple hallways and rooms, and a few too many unconscious scientists and guards later she was running out of the lab building and across the property. She slipped into the trees and all but disappeared. Now that she'd escaped, the only thing on her mind was finding new shinies and a place to stay.


Fifteen minutes after phone call...


Alessa moved quickly and quietly through the trees, searching for any pawprints or signs that the Zver had passed through this area. Devlin was somewhere nearby and Alpha Team had moved farther East from her location, closer to the city. She was nervous being so close to the lab and taking so long. The last capture had taken minutes, but they'd also been following the target from the moment he stepped outside. This one they barely had any idea where to look.

She sat down at the base of a large tree and pulled a water bottle out of her bag, taking a long drink before re-capping the bottle. The sound of footsteps alerted her to someone's approach, Devlin she assumed. It wasn't until the footsteps were closer that she realized it wasn't human.

Slowly, Alessa turned her head to look in the direction of the creature. Only a meter away was the Zver they'd been hunting for. It watched her calmly, neither of them moving. After what felt like forever, the odd creature seemed to almost sigh before closing the distance between them. Alessa was frozen with fear, watching as the Zver tried to pull her belt off. Sunlight reflected off the metal pieces when it was moved.

Alessa carefully and gently pushed the Zver far enough away so that she could get back up. She slipped her belt off, looking it over for a moment. It was still fairly new, the black leather barely showed signs of wear and the matal pieces that were spaced out along the length were still bright and clean. She turned her gaze from the belt to the Zver, watching it's rapt expression as it admired the silver metal on the belt.

With an uncomfortable sigh, Alessa bent down and wrapped the belt around the Zver's neck, fashioning a collar out of it. It bumped her hand with its head insistently when she was done and she gave in and scratched lightly behind the creature's ears.

Alessa went to move away, but the odd creature followed. It made no move to leave, seeming quite content to stay with Alessa. It made her job easier, but Alessa was unsure what to make of the implications.

"Until we get this figured out, I'm going to call you Cam, I guess," Alessa decided uncertainly, speaking aloud to the Zver. She pulled out her cell phone, flipped it open and hit speed dial three. When Devlin picked up, she didn't bother with a greeting, "Yeah, so, Devlin, I found the Zver, but there's a bit of a -er- complication. I think she's bonded with me. . ."

It was the personality that captured my heart. Very well developed. And the story itself was very creative. Congrats!
