Name You'd Choose for It: Datenshi
Gender: Male
Reason You Want It: When I saw that Datenshi hadn't been adopted straightaway, I was super surprised. Datenshi's design is absolutely beautiful. First off, I love his two differently colored wings.
Glowing markings are like, my absolute favorite thing. I have an obsession with glowy things. X3
Piercings! My second favorite thing on a character! His piercings are quite unique, especially the cross on a chain on his chest.
Last but not least, the fact that he is blind. I only have one other blind character, and in my opinion, it just makes them all the more interesting.

Pet's ID Tag:
Number 2
Name You'd Choose for It:
Jasper
She is usually nicknamed Jazzie or Jaz.
Gender:
Female
Reason You Want It:
I think Jasper is beautiful, and I love her simplicity. I like how the markings on her back remind me of little sparkling stars, and her design just seems to flow nicely. He colors appeal to me and they go nicely together. I love how she reminds me of stars, as space and astrology interest me greatly. I think she'd be a great addition to one of my plots called "Lucky Thirteen." Many of the characters are serious, insane, or cruel, so she would be the peacemaker of the group. I think a calm and serene character would help even out the opposing personalities and such. Also, there seems to be more males in the storyline, so adding another female couldn't hurt of course. I plan to write several short stories about her and I'd of course get art of her when I can. I'd draw her myself too. Jasper would get a spot on my character site and I'd love her dearly <3
History/Background/Other:
[In Jasper's Point of View]
I sat in the back of the rickety street car as is hurtled down the little quaint street. I held a small wicket basket with a bouquet of crimson roses inside nestled on my lap. A slight breeze picked up and it tugged softly on my little white dress. The weather outside was rather dreary though, with the soft pitter patter of raindrops and a cloudy grey sky. But it didn't matter, because my destination was definitely a joyful thought. I was meeting my friends for dinner, in one of the finest cafés in town. I hugged the basket closer to my body, as if it would fly away at any moment. You could never quite trust anyone in this city, but I try to be as trusting as possible. Thoughts of happy friends and good food crossed into my mind, and a smile crept onto my face. It was going to be wonderful, I just knew it. There was the issue of picking up my little brother, Aspen, from school afterward, but everything will work out, right? I arranged my dyed pastel blue hair neatly on my shoulders and pushed my side bangs out of my face. I ironed the knee-height skirt of my clean white dress with my hands and straightened up in my seat. I pulled my baby blue cell phone from one of the dress's pockets, with it's little rocket charm dangling, out to check the time, it was 6:30 pm. Wait, that meant I was going to be late at this rate. I hoped up from my wooden seat and pulled the wire above with window. The tea green street car screeched to a halt and I jolted forward as it stopped. Grabbing the basket by its slender handle as busted out of the opened glass doors. I descended on to the street, dodging every murky puddle I possibly could.

By now my hair was astray and all messed up. So much for impressing my friends, but I didn't time to worry about my hair right now. I needed to get the La Vanille Café and quick, because I'm not sure how long they're willing to wait. Especially Insanity, he has a short attention span and can't stand waiting for long periods of time. I sloshed around over the puddle covered sidewalk and sighed as my cute white dress was getting stained with brown rainwater. I dashed across the street under the rain as it started to pour down harder on my soaked body. I tried to use my arms as a shield against the rain, but that pretty much failed like I thought it would. The roses inside of my little basket were bouncing with my running pace. Finally, I saw my salvation, the La Vanille Café was just in sight and it looked absolutely cozy and warm in there. I could see the dim glow of the candle lights inside and a waitress serving delicious looking entrées. My mouth watered at the sight of brownies and roast chickens and my pace quickened with every step. As I got closer I could see my friends waiting inside for me and once Rani noticed me she started to wave frantically. I pushed open the glass door and Rosabella lifted an eyebrow at my disheveled and soaked appearance. "So, what happened to you Jazzie? Did you get caught in the rain shower?" She asked in a puzzled tone. I winced a little, it sounded she was slightly disappointed in me. I smiled sheepishly and said softly "I was late getting to the street car stop, and then the rain started." I looked down at my pastel purple converse while Rani put an arm around my shoulders and piped in "Aw, don't worry Jaz! They just got our table ready, lets go!" She grabbed me by the wrist and followed out waiter, dragging me along, with the others following our trail.

I understand that by adopting this creature I take full responsibility for it.

Pet's ID Tag: 55
Name You'd Choose for It: Dumoku (Dsu Lottie)
Gender: male
Reason You Want It: He'll fit very well in my story. He's gorgeous, he's black and red; both those colors are completely amazing. And the stars! Oh my gosh, they fit perfectly for a god-wolf. ^^
History/Background *You don't have to read it all, it's long, but if you truly want to understand it, you must read it all*

~Tiqua~
(In the gods’ pure white kingdom…

"Thank you."
I smiled, as happily as I could manage, and took the roses from Soulare. He was just one of the many male wolf Gods that wanted me to choose them as a mate. As a king. At least, that was what most of them wanted. Power.
Soulare was a handsome orange, creamish colored male, and he was nice. There was potential in him. But I wouldn’t choose him. I didn’t know if I’d ever choose someone. There was too much to handle, too much to decide at once. It had been the fourth rose that day, yet none, as far as I knew, actually loved me.
“You’re very welcome, my Queen Tsi Qsui.” He smiled softly, and I, not wanting to hurt his feelings, licked his cheek, and watched as he blushed, nodded kindly, and shuffled uncomfortably away. I sighed, in annoyance, mostly at myself.
“My Queen!”
I sighed in relief as I heard my second’s voice. She was my second in command, and probably my best friend. It was always easier with her around. “What is it, Amala?” I asked curiously. At this point she did look out of breath, which probably meant it was important. “Is it bad?”
“Well, I’m not sure,” Amala admitted. “It very well might be, if things turn out badly.”
“What is it, Amala?” I asked, more stern. She might be my best friend, but I was still Queen.
She sighed, though it did not offend me. “It’s Dumoku. He, umm, he would like to see you to eat prey with him, in order to discuss business with you.”
I rolled my eyes in both stress and annoyance. Dumoku! So that’s what she’d been so run down about. Well, I would be too, except that I’d probably be more stressed than her about it. I knew that because I was more stressed than her about it. He was my problem, not hers. She was just worried for me. “What if I turn down?” I asked, sort of nodding the problem off.
“He insists, Queen Tsi Qsui,” Amala said. “He said he wouldn’t leave until you meet with him. Alone.”
I growled, both in amusement at him, barely, and hatred at him. But I was a compassionate Queen, so I accepted, but in resentment. “Where is he?”
Amala licked my shoulder, feeling bad for me. “He’s in the gold cave.”
I gave her a sad smile. “Thank you, Amala,” I said. “And don’t worry, I won’t give in. to him.”

~Koto~

(In a dirty ‘ol alleyway in New York City…

Crash!

“Shut up, clumsy! The apartment users might hear you!”
I stuck my head out of the dumpster, where I was looking for food, to see my friend. I shook the banana peel off of my ruffled head in disgust. “I’d like to see you get in here and try to dig out some food,” I shot back.
Demi rolled his eyes. “You know I can’t do that,” he said, turning his back to me. “I’m keeping watch.”
I snorted. “Great job doing that.” Then I turned and lunged back into the dumpster. The lid slammed against the top of it above me.
“Koto!” I heard Demi growl. I shook my head. He had guarded last time. I was usually really tight with Demi, but recently with starving and all, I was getting a little tense and was loosing my temper with him.
Interrupting my thoughts, my nose hit something. Turkey! Yum. It was almost a full one, too. My head hit the top of the dumpster, causing it to swing open.
“Will you shut up!” Demi yelled at me. “Stop banging your head on that stupid dumpster, you stupid-”
“Will you shut up, already?” I interrupted him. “Look. I found turkey.” I grabbed the bone of it in my jaws, and swung it out of the garbage. Like I’d thought, Demi totally forgot he was mad at me and lunged for the turkey.
“Wow, great day, huh, Koto?” Demi mumbled, his mouth full.
“Yep,” I breathed, not even bothering with the turkey, or him. “This is stupid. We’re acting like dogs and digging through the garbage.” I growled. “I can’t believe we have to live like this.”
Demi swallowed, and then stared straight into my eyes. “You know we have to. We have to disguise ourselves as dogs, or they’ll kill us. You know that.”
I sighed, and looked away. “You’re right,” I whispered. “I know.”

~Tiqua~

I silently padded into the gold cave where he lay. He twitched his tail, and grinned slyly. I fought the urge to roll my eyes. The “business” he wanted to discuss I highly doubted was for the gods’ priority, but I dipped my head in respect anyway. “Dumoku,” I said, trying my best to keep the annoyance out of my voice, but it slightly quavered, setting the wrong tone. I was not in any way below him, or scared that I was, like I sounded, but he was forced to believe otherwise. “What business would you like to discuss with me?”
He stood and chuckled. He had a very deep voice, which made it all the more uncomfortable to stand in the same room as him. “My desert flower, why speak of this so soon?” He was rounding my back now, pacing the cave. “We can eat first.”
I plopped, both gracefully and stubbornly to the ground and curled my tail over my paws. “What did you want to speak with me about?”
He sat in front of me, only the prey’s body between us. “Just take a bite,” he insisted. “What could happen?”
I sighed, knowing he wasn’t going to leave me alone until I ate some, so I leaned down and took a bite. It was delicious. “Mmm,” I murmured, letting just how good the food was slip from my lips.
“Good, isn’t it?” he grinned.
Defeated, I nodded.
He stood, and continued to pace. “I am the best hunter of the gods and goddesses, you know,” he said, though in a tone that made it seem like he wasn’t boasting. I could see past that tone. “I could be good to you, my lady. I could feed you well. I’m a good singer too. I could even hum you to sleep.”
“Dumoku, we’ve been over this,” I stated boldly. “I don’t want all this from you.”
“Then whom do you want it from?” he shot back.
My ears flattened. “From someone who actually loves me, and doesn’t lust for power.”
“What does it matter if I love you?” he asked, tone slipping from his control. “I could be a good father, and I could be a great leader for us all!” Now he just sounded whiny. It disgusted me.
“A good father would love their pup’s mother,” I argued. “I know you’ll never love me.”
Surprisingly enough, his tone caught control again. “Think of what we could do together, think of what could be accomplished,” he said, reasoning.
“You mean what you could accomplish,” I corrected.
“I would do you right. Have you even thought about the possibilities? Have you even considered them?”
“I have thought about them!” I yelled, breaking. Dumoku’s ears were pressed flat against his head. “I have thought of them,” I continued in a softer tone. “I just don’t want to believe them.”
This could’ve made my decision. It didn’t. Because there was no mortal or goddess that didn’t want Dumoku as a mate. Except me.
He was smirking at me. Smirking at his Queen. “I am more, better than you,” he whispered. “Are you sure your people will follow you over me?”
I jerked backward, barely catching myself from swinging at him. “You?” I spat, though oddly I spat gracefully. “How could you even think that even one person would follow you? You’re a bully! A cheater! A fake! And you’re a liar! Anyone can do better than a run down mutt who has no business as a god. And I have no interest in becoming your mate, and if you ask me again, I’ll have you outcast. You’ll be outside the gates, and be thrown into a prison realm of limbo, which you will deserve if you keep acting like this. Do not ever forget that I am Queen Tsi Qsui, Queen of the gods and goddesses, and that includes you, ignorant fool,” I finished.
I turned and stormed out of the gold cave, never looking back.

~Amala~

I watched it carefully.
Nothing.
I sighed, and muttered, “Yeah, I guess this really was just for Tiqua.”
I was staring at an orb, apparently, my Queen had this custom-made by one of the gods’, but there were so many, I occasionally forgot which did what. I didn’t even know there was a god that made orbs until now. I should’ve, but because we no longer had jewels up here in our realm, I guessed that Tiqua got hers free.
I had just gone to pick it up by the silver fountain. It was always beautiful there, because instead of water flowing out of the howling wolf statue’s mouth that lay on top, it was gold. I guess the god that made it really didn’t want to be seen though, so he’d only left it lying there with a note.

Good day
~The Deal Maker~

I’d been confused by it at first, but then again it was none of my business, so that was that. I’d wanted to ask my Queen about it, though she probably would not answer in the appropriate way, (by telling the truth) but she had her own issues and I was there to guard her in order to take care of them. I guess it could make sense not to tell me.
I turned my head, and saw her padding up to me. She looked like a humble storm, if at all possible. I was jealous of her, for the most part. No matter what she was doing, even if it were killing another wolf, it would look graceful and beautiful. “How did it go?” I asked curiously, not sure if I wanted to know the answer.
She gave me the ‘look.’ “I was ashamed at last, but I held my ground,” she stated. “I am immune to him.”
“How immune?” I asked seriously. “You can’t go on like this. At first you seem immune, and then he makes you feel guilty for saying no to him, then he says the wrong thing and you blow up.”
She glared at me for a moment, and sighed. “You know me too well.”
I chuckled. “I’m afraid I do, my Queen.”
She smiled at me, and then nodded down at the package and the orb lying beside it. “What is that?” she asked, already knowing the answer.
“That’s your package from The Deal Maker.” I stared at her, but she continued staring at it. “It’s the orb,” I continued.
She looked at me, wide-eyed, and I sighed and wrapped the orb up. I picked up the fabric in my jaws. She grinned. “Let’s go try it out.”

~Dumoku~

I glared after my Queen until her tail tip was out of sight. “Wrong answer.” I chuckled. It was only a matter of time before I figured out her weakness. Yes, I would use it against her. If only I knew what it was.
I sighed, and padded deeper into the gold cave. It turned darker and darker as I walked, as some might say anyone walked. I was terrifying, dirty, to the few that knew me, anyways. To most of the females, I was a gorgeous god that they adored and wanted to spend their life with. It’s not like I didn’t know they daydreamed about our pups. I knew I was handsome. But that didn’t seem to affect Queen Tsi Qsui. For very long, anyway.
What I wanted to know, even possibly more bad than her weakness, was her name. Only close friends knew that. Everyone knew her by Queen Tsi Qsui, but she had a true name like everyone else. Like I. My title was Dsu Lotti. Everyone knew me by Dumoku, though. And Amala; her title was Asa Mual, but everyone knew her by Amala. Only Queen Tsi Qsui wouldn’t tell anyone her true name, except wolves like Amala and maybe a few other friends. I wasn’t told, and I knew I didn’t have a right to be told. But even when she was a small pup, her true name wouldn’t slip her mouth, not to a soul. Everyone just called her Tsi Qsui.
I’d been jealous of her, and her secret ideas. At the age of two, I’d wished that I’d covered my name and just been called Dsu Lotti, then I might have an advantage over her. When we were both pups, and her, Amala, and I were all pups at the same time, there had been no King or Queen. Things had been disordered, and though we were gods, we could not control the disorder between ourselves. We knew we needed a ruler, and everyone thought I was the right one. But my bad habits threw me off. Once the gods saw my boasting and bullying, they knew I was just a burden. They knew I could never be King.
That’s when she spoke up. I remembered her words perfectly. “I could be Queen,” she said. Everyone gasped.
One ignorant god said, “Why should we have a Queen when Kings are wiser and they know what they’re doing? You are too young, and you are a female.” Most of the males called out agreements, and a few females growled, but most were too scared of their mates so they were quiet.
That’s when she said this.
“You are too full of yourselves,” she spoke, in a quiet, wise voice. “You must realize that there is more to this world than males themselves. Why, to any world!” She laughed then, and that intrigued people into her, including myself. “Have you forgotten of your mothers? Of nature? Have you forgotten that females in population have an advantage over males? I’m not trying to start a war, no; I’m trying to bring us together! We must have order and friendship, not separation and hate! We must learn to live with each other, and know the duties of our friends are as challenging as the ones we are facing. Let us live by each other, let us live in light!”
There were cheers then, and laughs and crying. That was when one wolf started chanting, “Queen Tsi Qsui! Queen Tsi Qsui!” Many others joined him, and soon, all had. She was nodding her head in respect to all, and slightly smiling.
Then I burst out my question, breaking all the noise into silence once again. “What if you need a ruler to be beside you?” I called. “As a king?”
She stared down at me, smile gone, and everyone else still. “Once things are settled down, if I must, I’ll choose a mate, and we will rule together in peace.”
Though I’ll only ever admit it to myself, it was then that I fell in love with her.

~Tiqua~

“Come on, Amala!” I called, smiling. She had been staring after the silver fountain behind us a while back, so she fell behind. I, for one, was eager to try this out.
“I’m coming,” she huffed, her voice muffled by the package she was carrying. I stopped and waited for her to catch up, then we scooted into my den together. My den was made of emeralds, and looked like a cave. The emeralds were the only gems we had in our white kingdom. It wasn’t as if I had gotten them personally, but the emeralds were said to protect anyone within them, so they had been given to me without my knowledge until they’d been set up.
“Are you here yet?” I chuckled, sitting down and curling my tail over my paws.
She glared at me, stepping into the den. “Now I’m here,” she muttered. She stuck her tongue out at me, and I chuckled.
“Don’t be so childish!” I laughed at her, taking the package from her jaws.
“You should learn to be more childish,” she told me as I unwrapped the package.
“Wow,” I breathed, staring at the orb inside.
“I tried it out,” Amala said, sounding defeated. “I just wanted to know if it only worked for you.”
“It’s fine Amala,” I said, not wanting to hurt her. “Do you even know what it does though?” She shook her head, and I gulped. “If only…” I looked up at her, ripping my gaze away from the orb. “When I touch this orb, I can see the Earth.”
“Earth?” she cocked her head, and we both turned our heads back to it. “Earth the planet? That’s not possible. And besides, I thought you were afraid of Earth.”
“It is too possible!” I protested. “And I am afraid of the earth, but only being there in person. Watching it from a distance, however, is not a problem.” I looked up at her yet again. “Are you ready?” I asked, getting ready to touch the precious object.
“Tiqua.” The word shot at me like poison, even though it was my own name.
“Yes?” I asked carefully.
She gulped. “Who is the Deal Maker?”
I stared at her, shocked. How did she know him?
“Don’t try to fool me,” she warned. “I saw the note.”
Ahh, the note. Of course, the Deal Maker had decided to sign it. I’d deal with him later. I sighed. “He’s an old friend.” She gave me the “look.” I sighed, yet again, only this time in defeat. “He’s an outcast. He’s from the prison realm of limbo, but he’s the only wolf I know who can make these orbs.”
Amala watched me carefully. “What’s his true identity?”
This I did not know. “He never told me,” I shrugged.
We waited in silence for a moment.
“Fine,” she huffed sadly. “Touch it. You know you want to.”
I nodded, because, as she’d said, I did want to. I touched it carefully. It was amazing. The whole orb was surrounded in soft grass for a moment, and it was mesmerizing. The swaying, the dew, it was all amazing. Then, it changed to a creek. The water was flowing quietly, but the rush still filled my ears, no matter how slow. It was the most beautiful color, blueish-clear, not in any comparison to my emeralds. Then, suddenly, it turned into a dirty ally-way, and two wolves were sitting and chatting there. I leaned in to get a closer look.
“Queen, no!” I felt Amala grab my paw, and then I was sucked in to the Earth.

Suddenly, I was on a sidewalk, just across the street from where the two wolves were. Amala was beside me.
“Where are we?” she asked, panting, scared. Well, so was I.
“I don’t know,” I whispered.
She turned her head. “Look at those wolves over there! I bet they could help us.” I immediately fell cold. Talk? To those wolves? Not a chance. But Amala was already crossing the street.
“Amala, no!” I called, echoing her earlier words, and bolted after her.
HONK HONK!
I turned my head, and a massive pickup truck was about to crush us. We both screamed.

~Demi~

“No hard feelings?” I asked my best friend carefully. He shook his head, and I sighed. I loved my best friend, but sometimes he was a little up-tight, but it’s not like I could say anything. I was a mood-swinger. It’s not like I was any better.
The silence broke with a question; Koto’s question. “Have you ever thought about… leaving?” he asked suddenly. “Living in a forest? Acting like a real wolf?”
I shook my head. “Nah. Hunters, poachers, if we ever even made it that far without being recognized by the city, there’s always them to worry about.”
He sighed fiercely. “Yes, but we can’t live like dogs! We are not dogs.”
“I know-,” I started to protest.
“If we are not dogs then we shouldn’t have to act like them!” he continued, as if not hearing me.
I tried again. “I know, but-,”
“Digging out of trash cans, finding rubbish to eat! We got lucky today, but even that turkey was fly-invested, and-”
“Koto!” It was I who got to interrupt this time. He shut up. “We know all of this, but would you risk getting killed because of this?” He seemed to be considering my two sense.
HONK HONK!
I glanced behind him. Two wolves were about to be crushed by a pick-up truck. “Speaking of getting killed…” Koto followed my gaze, and gasped. Like a couple of bullets, we were off to save the maidens in need.

~The Deal Maker~
(In the exiled part of the other world...

“What could possibly go wrong?”
I was muttering the false, sarcastic words to myself, pacing my den in the limbo realm. It had not been her who had cast me out, so why was this happening to her? It was the gods all in a group that had sent me to limbo, she’d only been a pup at the time! So again, I asked myself, why was she the one getting devoured? By a truck?!
I sighed, and started to pace faster. I was worried about her. I wasn’t allowed to be worried about her. I was in limbo.
I’d been cast out before because… Well, I’d been here so long I barely remembered. I remembered the day I’d got cast down, though. And that the reason I was cast down was a lie. I thought I remembered Dsu Lottie (was he Dumoku now?) telling them the horrible lie, but that was unlikely… Or maybe it wasn’t, it was just crazy.
I remembered at that moment. I remembered.

I was padding quietly around my den, thinking about how Earth used to be. I used to live there, but I’d died and somehow managed to be made a god. The gods all agreed on me staying there, so I had been extremely lucky. But not lucky enough. It was then that she padded up to me, her tail flowing and bushy behind her.
“Hello,” I said warmly, smiling at her. She was the most beautiful pup I’d ever seen. Not that it mattered. “What do you want from me?” I asked happily, as she was there.
She cocked her pretty little head. “What do I want from you?” she shot at me. “What kind of question is that? Can’t I just be here for fun?”
I chuckled. “Of course you can, darling, you just ran over here so fast that I suspected you wanted something from me.”
Her eyes widened. “Did I really run that fast?” Then, she shook her head quickly, as if to shake the thought out of her mind. “No, no, no, that’s not why I came over here.”
“What is it, Tsi Qsui?” I loved that name. I loved saying that name. It was like hot caramel slipping from my lips. She sighed sadly, and glanced down. I stared at her. “Don’t be upset,” I murmured helpfully, putting my paw on her shoulder.
She looked at me, and my paw fell from its place. “I’m your friend, right?”
I laughed, and she stared at me, wide eyed, as if I were killing a puppy and was enjoying it. I shook my head. “Of course I’m your friend,” I said, trying to control my chuckling the dumbness of her question.
Her eyes relaxed, and she smiled. “Good.” I smiled along with her, but I saw movement out of the corner of my eye. I glanced over to where I’d seen it. There was Dsu Lottie, or Dumoku, glaring hatefully at me.
“Dumoku?” I called, curious as to what that was about. Tsi Qsui turned also, but he was gone. I sighed. “Why does he hate me?”
Tsi Qsui swung her head and sighed. “I don’t know,” she admitted. “I don’t hate you.”
I grinned and plopped down. “Yes, I know you don’t.”
She plopped down and nuzzled up beside me. My heart pounded like crazy, but in a good way. “You’re awesome,” she said happily.
“You’re c-cool too,” I said, trying to keep my voice under control.
“I don’t care what Dumoku thinks about you.” She looked up at me then, her muzzle only an inch from mine. I thought I was going to die. “Why won’t you ever let anyone say your name?”
Well that question caught me off guard. “What?”
“Why won’t you let anyone say your name? Your true name? Can I say it?” Her eyes were pleading. So I gave in… as usual.
“Fine.” I sighed unhappily, because I was actually quite annoyed.
“Yay!” She looked up to the sky. Usi Umoku! Usoki!” She giggled. “There. I’m done.”
“Why do you like to randomly shout out names?” I muttered. “It’s completely childish.”
“That’s because I am a child.” I sat there, shocked at the innocence of her question. She was right. She was a child. And I had no business with her, except as a friend and guardian.
“Right,” I whispered, staring into space. I was completely droned. Until I heard my name, that is.
“Usi Umoku! Come here!” There were many gods and goddesses screaming for me, screaming helplessly. I’d had no idea why.
Tsi Qsui bolted up at the sound. “Why are they screaming at you?”
“I don’t know,” I said, sitting up and forgetting about my last ‘episode.’ “Yes?” I asked carefully, standing up on all fours. I started to pad casually over to them. “What is it?”
I’d made it into the crowd of them all, and they were whispering mean names at me. I wondered why. “Well,” one snotty goddess spoke up. “One of us had better confront him.”
Suddenly, one large god, Rsui Malu (or Rialu) padded up in front of me. I stared up at him. He was so large. I turned my head at a small movement in the corner of my eye, and Dumoku was beside me, as his small pup self.
“How could you betray us, Usoki?” Rialu asked quietly, sounding defeated. I’d had no idea what he’d been talking about.
“What do you mean?” I asked curiously.
He shook his head. “You cannot lie to us any longer. We know the truth, you demon.”
Demon? “I am no demon!” I clearly stated. “I’m a god, just like all of you!”
“That’s a lie!” Dumoku said, raising his head high. “I heard him contacting demons, and he has demon blood.”
“We’ve heard your part of the story, Dumoku,” another god, Qsi Kislu hushed him. “Now let Usoki state his.”
I cleared my throat uncomfortably. “I can only state that this is a lie,” I said calmly. “Now you can choose to believe him, or me.”
It went quiet for a moment, and they all exchanged looks. Finally, Wsi Simiu, a silver god, spoke up. “Well… I say he should look like a demon, just like he is!”
“Yeah!” everyone cheered. I was devastated. They zapped me, into a horrible being with wings and an orbed tail. My tounge slithered out of my mouth like a bloody snake, and suddenly I was cast out of that beautiful kingdom, into darkness, for a lie.

I sighed, knowing nothing had happed since the years passed the story’s end. I’d been watching Tsi Qsui and Amala through the twin orb; the one that’d been placed upon my tail.

I understand that by adopting this creature I take full responsibility for it.

OTHER: The history is not yet complete, but I hope you understand that I love him much, so he'll go to a good home. Please understand that he will have a bigger part in the story, you just have to wait for it later on. ^^

THERE ARE 6 CHARACTERS BEING ADOPTED: Tsi Qsui(Tiqua), Amala(Asa Mual), Dumoku (Dsu Lottie), Koto, Demi, and The Deal Maker (Usi Umoku-Usoki)

I still like Spectrum

Female
Reason You Want It:Because I absolutely love rainbows! And I just plain love the design!I just want to squish it so hard!
History/Background/Other:
Spectrum's story
Spectrum has ALWAYS had an easy life.Nice stable, sweet owner, warm stall, and loving parents. But then the day came...A man in black arrived at her stall at about 12:00 at night and stool her from her nice pleasant life. She bucked, nipped, spit, reared, at the strange man in black but still could not get away.
She was shipped for a few hours in a horrible smelling trailer to a ranch in the middle of know where. She was greeted by the other horses with rude mean actions and words that I can not and will say.She was taken into a small shed and then a horrible pain went through her barrel and there was a star with 5 dots in between the points. She guessed it was freeze branding her father told her about the terrible way of branding.
The man and black smacked her on rump and forced her into a corner of the shed were he locked her into very, very, very tiny stall just big enough for her."Good night, horse" he said in a nasty voice."Psssssssssssssssssssssst!" said a stallion with red eyes and black body."Who are you?"."I'm...Sp...Spec...Spectrum" she said finally."Oh...I'm Volt."Um...nice to meet you...were am I?"She asked.Oh...um I don't really know I have only been here for a few days...and I hate it here.Spectrum nodded in agreement."We have to get out of her as soon as possible.I have a plan."she said.
That morning she was awaken by the sound of a squeaky door sliding open she smell spoiled grain. And she smelled the man in black, this was war!As the man walked over and fed Volt and then came to her."Follow my lead" she said to Volt. Volt nodded, he thought it was weird that he was taking order from a mare, when he never answered or listened to his mother.
As the man in black opened the hatch to her stall she gave him a kick to the gut he would never forget."YES" she thought to herself. She kicked the hatch a few times and cracked off the hatch to Volts stall and and ran with Volt like the wind!"YES WE DID IT!!"they sang together. They ran for safety as they got there a thought came to Spectrum "What now?".And as if Volt read her mind he said this: "Now we start a herd FAR away from here!".She blushed "Okay." and then she knew she had found a best friend truly fo life.So as they trotted off she swore that she heard Volt whisper "I love you".
I understand that by adopting this creature I take full responsibility for it.

Name You'd Choose for It: Kaede [Kay-dee] Thais [Tai-ess]
Real Name: Kaede
The name she goes by: Thais Aikaterina
Meaning of her chosen name: The pure bond
Origin of name: Greek
Gender: Female
Species: Zerphisa [She is part Caracal X Cheetah, but mainly Sapian Fox X Sapian Wolf]
About the Species: When the planet Sapia was discovered, the only canine species there was the Sapian Wolf, a hardy, long legged creature with wings. Depending on their lifestyle, whether they were good, or evil, they either had bird wings (good) or bat wings (evil). Also, Sapian wolves, or Zereni, hunted as they were by the Demon Wolves, or Demoi Nidivay, had special powers, one elemental, like Air, and one non-elemental, like super-speed. There was another significant difference, the 'Elements' consisted of Air, Earth, Fire, Water, Ice, Energy, Darkness and Light.
Sapian wolves were, and still are, very intelligent, intelligent enough to be able to speak to each other in fluent Sapian.

Sapian Foxes, or Rephisa, on the other hand, are a bit of an anomaly, though it is believed they are spirit-creatures. Coming from absolutely nowhere, the strange fox-creatures soon began to take over the planet, driven back only by the sheer numbers of the wolves. However, over time, the wolves and foxes have learnt to accept each other, and some have even bred, creating a whole new, incredibly powerful, but relentlessly persecuted, species; the Zerphisa, hunted throughout Sapia because of their existence, and amazing transferable powers.

Reason You Want It: She's very sweet and beautifuly coloured, as well as being VERY unusual! I love her design and species style and think she would make a great addition to my charries as a feline hybrid companion of my sub-fursona, Chezzie, or to my to assassins, Geisha and Gyr. I have a plan set out for her, and she would become the adopted daughter of Geisha and Gyr, appearing in all their little escapades in all her beauty. She would eventually become even better than Geisha herself, using her cheetah speed, fox cunning and caracal agility to carry out even the hardest missions. And now, nothing else to say but I really love Thais and hope I get her!
History/Background/Other:
Before...

Personality: Kaede is petrified of nearly everything, despite her ferocious looking markings. Having lived most of her life hiding, and being insulted by the members of her wolf mother's pack, she has quickly learnt to fade into the background, though at the moment, she doesn`t realise that it`s part of her power. The younger pack members were wary of her at first, but as soon as they found out that she was shy, they made it their mission to bully her- but that was before the arrival of the handsome black stranger...

Now...
Personality: She wasn't always so harsh. Thais is very paranoid, but also very self-assured. She knows of her own abilities and never hesitates to push herself that little bit further. When on a group mission she tries her hardest to make sure everyone gets out, and doesn't try any ridiculous stunts. She's very protective of her 'little friend,' a unusually coloured hawk, named Kindia, and the stranger she loves, Kiraki...

So Precious...
A whispered sigh, followed by silence.
The only memory I have of my true family.
Since then...

No-one's ever loved me.
No-one's ever realised my worth.
Until I realised that no-one needs to; no-one but me.

My life had been normal, as normal as it could be when I was some freak of nature, not meant to be.
A hybrid.
Oh, they raised me well enough, let me stay with them, but no-one would talk to me, no-one understood.

My adopted family, the omegas of a pack of caracals, had always taught me to stay calm and keep my head down, but the humans had come to our home and then... my family weren't there anymore. I cried for someone, but no-one came; either all dead or gone, left without me. I knew which one I guessed.

So I left. Wandering on my own, using my strange whip-like tail to swing from trees and in self-defence. I must have wandered for days, glowing eyes my only light in the depth of night, by day, no more safe than the night. I liked the night, it hid me, and all my prey could see was my glowing eyes as I pounced, but the day scared me; too open, too... safe-seeming.

One day my paranoia was justified as I got too cocky. I pounced at the lump of meat just lying on the floor, and felt the ground rush away as I was caught in the trap. Human-set trap. I freaked, slashing and savaging the rope, but it still held, held until the humans came to get me. They slung me in the back of a van and laughed at my pitiful attempts to roar. Stupid two legged weaklings, they dared to laugh at me!

But I'll show them... Oh, I'll show them. For I easily slipped my cage, and smiled as I slid into the dark alleyways of the city.

I'll show them.

I'll show them all.

Yet, as I slipped away, a strange memory hit me.

Zippurra stood at the foot of Mount Zereni, the home of her pack, scenting the wind.
The wind ruffled her silver fur, and she smiled, her amber eyes lighting up.
As an Elemental gifted with the power of Air, she loved to stand with her face to the wind, as sometimes the essence itself appeared, like a thin silver ribbon, giving her advice and helping her pack.
Now, as she stood, deep in thought, a familar flash of silver light lit up the horizon.
<Hello, Zereni.> Hissed the Air.
<Air. Is there a reason for your call?> Zippurra thought, a smile lifting the corners of her black lips.
<Isss there ever not?>
<Well, not really.>
<Then I'll tell you this, look to your sisters.>
<My sisters? But Tanzanee, Constanee, Liaoli, Shenivay and Fleather are in the dens.>
<Not Zereni-Sisters, the other, the part, she needs help.>
<Another sister? Where?> Zippurra began to think, desperately, but the Air had gone.
"Well, thanks." She grumbled aloud, running to the dens.
"Sirex?" She called to her mate, a pure black wolf with amber eyes. "I need you to come with me, now."
Sirex nodded and joined her, as the two ran off in seach of her lost sister.
*

Kaede breathed slowly and quietly as she cowered under a fallen tree at the edge of her pack lands.
She could smell the cubs nearby, and knew that if they found her alone, they could kill her.
Just breathe, and stay quiet. She thought, terrified. Then they won't find you.
There was a snuffling sound nearby and a voice, calling out. "Laeth?"
Kars, the worst of the lot, was right by her hiding place. Kaede froze in terror.
"Here, Kars." Another voice replied. Laeth, Kars' right hand wolf.
Yet another voice sounded, Tica, the youngest, sounding confused. "But if you're there, who is it in the tree?"
The snuffling got louder, and suddenly Kars gave a sudden bark of laughter.
"Look who it is! Kaede! So glad to see you, vermin."
There was a sudden rush of air as Laeth reached in and grabbed Kaede by the scruff of her neck, dumping her on the ground in front of the rest of the cubs, who smiled menacingly.
Kars grinned. "Who wants to see a real live fox-hunt?"
Kaede snarled. "I am not a fox!"
"Well you're not a wolf, so you're a fox to me." Kars growled, leaping at her.
Kaede shrieked and bounded away into the woods, the cubs on her tail.
*

Kaede had began to tire, she had been running for hours and a few of the cubs had got in lucky swipes, her blood-like markings were now criss-crossed with real blood. I must... keep... running! She yelled in her mind, but, though she could hear Kars breathing heavily behind her, she began to slow.
Kars roared in triumph and swiped at her, making her fall to the ground.
The cubs bark-laughed and sprang and Kaede tried to crawl away, but Laeth grabbed her paw in his muzzle and pulled. She shot backwards, slamming into a tree, and lay sprawled on the floor.
Kaede's vision began to dim as the cubs slashed out at her, but just as she was about to fall into the warm, enveloping darkness, she heard the cry of a bird of prey.
Kars ignored it and smiled as he moved in for the kill.
*

A shriek cut through the air as an Indian Black Kite dived towards the cubs, raking his talons across Laeth's eyes, who screamed. Kars froze, surprised, but didn't turn.
A flash of dark light and a snarl marked the arrival of another creature, and instantly the Kite flew towards the shadowed thing.
"Get away from her." The creature said in a calm voice, with a hint of menace. "Now."
It walked closer, and Kaede saw that it was a tall black male wolf, with red tipped fur and red wings.
"If you were a true wolf, you wouldn't mind us attacking a Zerphisa." Kars growled, not moving.
The black and red wolf smiled slightly. "Indri!" He called, and the Kite swooped down again.
The wolf fell to the floor, and the Kite's eyes glowed yellow as it swooped, straight at Kars.
Kars frowned, puzzled, and only just managed to jump aside as the Kite struck.
The Kite circled away, and the wolf got up again, eyes glowing.
"I am a spirit-walker. Flee if you value your lives!" he snarled, dark Light radiating from his coat.
Kars and the half-blind Laeth yelped and ran for the camp with the cubs.
Kaede shrieked as she lay gasping on the floor, and the Kite fluttered to the ground in front of her.
"My dear lady, are you ok?" The Kite the wolf had called Indri said kindly. "My name is Indri."
The wolf flew over, concern reflected in his yellow eyes. "Are you okay?"
"Fine." Kaede shuddered, getting to her feet. "Thank you Indri, and you are?"
"Kiraki." The wolf smiled. "And you are... Kaede."
Kaede looked confused, but Kiraki spoke again. "I've been searching for you, Indri said you'd be here."
"Then I guess I have you and Indri to thank for my life." Kaede smiled.
Kiraki looked slightly unsettled, he was silent for a long while.
"I've known you a long time." He finally said. "We met as cubs, during the war of the Zerphisa."
Kaede gasped, she remembered the summer they had spent together, the black cub she'd fallen in love with.
"Kirr? What happened?"
"Long story." Kiraki grinned. "But I know one thing, we have to head to the mountain of the wolves."
"NO!" Kaede squeaked. "Not wolves!"
Kiraki looked hurt. "I'm a wolf."
"Not a huge pack."
"Good point, Kae."
Kaede smiled as Kiraki used her nickname from her childhood. "So, Ki, let's get going!"
"Okay, Kae." Kiraki grinned, and they set off towards the mountain.
*

The mountain was looming on the horizon when Kiraki and Kaede ran into some trouble.

A huge pack was waiting in front of them, two familar wolves at the head of the pack.
Kaede and Kiraki gasped at the same moment, expressions of disbelief on their faces.
"Kire?" Kiraki gasped.
"Kars?" Kaede hissed.
The two wolves grinned at the pair. "Hello, freaks."
As if responding to a signal, the pack converged on the two.
Kiraki and Kaede stood back to back, snarling.
Indri swooped down from the sky, and a red tailed hawk swooped with him.
"Kaede!" Indri called. "I found your protector! Her name is Kindia!"
Kindia nodded to Kaede and attacked, side by side with Indri.
"Let's get 'em!" Kaede smiled, launching herself at the nearest wolf, Kiraki by her side.
Kars roared with fury that they were escaping, and bit down on Kiraki's neck.
Kiraki's eyes dimmed as he collapsed. He saw his protector scream in pain and fall towards him, saw Kaede cry out and stumble towards him crying out. "Kiraki! NO!" Then his eyes closed and he saw no more.
Kaede saw Kars kill Kiraki and cried out, she stopped fighting and stumbled to Kiraki's side, just as Indri hit the floor.
Kindia fluttered weakly to Kaede's side, sobbing.
The pack snarled and charged.
Kaede didn't even look up.
*

A high-pitched shriek resonated around the battlefield, as the Sapian pack roared into battle, Liaoli and Zippurra, together with their mates, Nyte and Sirex, at the head.
The other pack yelped and ran away, Kars the fastest, with Kire crying behind.
Kaede still stared at Kiraki's motionless form, tears stinging her eyes.
Zippurra walked up to Kaede.
"Sister." She said quietly. "Do not grieve, he's not yet dead."
"Zippurra?" Kaede said. "I've waited so long, sister."
Zipprra smiled sadly, and her sister Tanzanee ran forward.
"He needs healing, but it would take a stronger healer than me to save him, he is, strictly speaking, dead." SHe said.
Kaede lay a paw on Kiraki's side and spoke three words under her breath, the only healing words needed.
"I love you."
Kiraki's body glowed and he sat up, Indri squawked and flew to his shoulder.
"Kiraki!" Kaede cried out, joyfully. "KIRAKI!"
Kiraki smiled at Kaede as he got up. "I love you too."
Indri smiled and said the exact same thing as Kiraki had, to Kindia.
Both Protector and Elemental fainted at the same time, and Kiraki and Indri laughed as they woke up.
"You haven't changed."
"Is that a good thing?"
"Yes."
"Then I never will."

A horrible sensation, like she'd left her stomach behind, then a mighty roar. Kaede screamed as she was picked up by a massive black dog, and, though Kiraki tried to follow, more black dogs appeared and fought back. Kiraki disappeared under the tide of dogs, and Kaede screamed again as she was carried off. "KIRAKI!"

Indri circled, crying out to a dazed looking Kindia, who was being restrained. He made to fly towards them, but suddenly his eyes closed and he plummeted.

The dog looked confused, as it ran it had been surprised by the screeching of the birds. Now, deep in the forest, he dropped Kaede and ran off. Kaede lay motionless on the floor, sobbing.
"NOOOO!"

I shuddered as a never before seen flash of my childhood surfaced;my life before the Caracals. A tear ran down my cheek as I thought of Kiraki, long since dead, and my old life, my old name. My new name was chosen to immortalise Kiraki, so the bond between us was never broken.
Thais Aikaterina. The pure bond.

"I'm not."

That voice, that wonderful voice. It was like music to my fragile soul, and I turned, not really expecting anything.

The figure that stood at the end of the alleyway was so familiar, yet it was impossible. Still, his red spiky fur along his back proved that I wasn't going mad.

"Oh..." I breathed. "Ki?"

The two birds hopping by his side looked up, and with a shriek, the red-tailed hawk shot at me, landing on my head.
"Kindia!" I gasped, shocked, "then... you..."

The red and black wolf smiled. "Course I am, Kae."
I rushed at him and hugged him. "It's Thais." I said.
Kiraki nuzzled me happily. "Thais Kaede." He said, and smiled.

A nonsensical mix, just like me.

Powers: Kaede, is an Energy Elemental, a healer, and a glamourist [able to disappear at will.]
Because she's a Zerphisa, if she is killed in battle, her powers are transferred to her killer, so she has to watch out.
