Sorry for the lack in activity! I have someone over for over a week and been spending a lot of time with them! I hope to get back on track soon and start managing my time well so I can keep Rans running even if I have a part time or full time job! We'll see!

If you've been stalking for awhile you may notice some new things/changes made to the cave!! You may find typos and contradicting things but I did my best to flush it all out!!

Ransolite Adventures -> Ransolite Gathering

No more needing to get links and/or images every day to make a post for some adventures! No more trying to remember what isnt level 5 and what is! Adventures are open to every ransolite and levels are no more! No more getting trash for days on end! People want eggs and coins! Not trash! In fact all crafting is now gone so no more needing to keep track of that nonsense! Maybe I will change it a little in the future and return it differently! Anyway
Gathering requires you to make a single post to enlist a Ransolite to start gathering! Until you tell them to stop, they will always be out there collecting! All you need to do, at least one a week, is make a simple "Claim!" post! It takes 30 seconds! Not only that but there is now a more reliable method of getting wild ransolite eggs for free! After waiting a week with no claims, theres a 95% chance for an egg! If people are finding eggs too often, I might extend it to every 2 weeks, but we'll see! Take advantage of it or not, your choice! Due to the Level Removal Ransolite Cooking is no longer needed

Removal of 99% of potions

This probably sucks the most but all Specific potions and most crafting potions are gone! If you had potions, they have been sold for coins. To compensate the changes done in Ransolite customs, if you owned a lot of potions you were given bonus gemstones depending how many you had. Some potions remained and are now buyable with C$ or coins. They are super rare and intended for endgame hence the high prices, but there is a chance you can get them for free from contests, giveaways, or gathering!
Ransolite Creation is now Customs and has had an overhaul. Prices has been increased slightly for being easier to do now without the need of specific potions but Gemstones can be used in place of them by giving discounts. Coin prices are available but to avoid exploiting they are double the C$ price. You can ask for any trait when making a ransolite, even unique traits. Due to this Infusion Shards are no longer needed.

Ransolite Change

To make up the removal of change potions and addition potions, Ransolite Change has opened up! It is basically where you want to go to make changes to your Ransolite. Some changes are 100% free without the need of permission (Gender and Personality) while others are free but ideally you come here to request the change (Small color changes, small trait changes, trait removals)
Others cost a bit as I am still taking time out of my life to do your requests as well as keeping the purpose of rarity by making any rarity changes cost something. The most I will ask is 20C$/1,000 Coins to add a Unique trait, roughly the price it was to sell a Unique Potion in the exchange.

Inventory

Dont ask me for inventory checks now! Just check there and you will find all your loot! If you find a discrepancy where I didn't update it, lmk! Otherwise use this to keep track of your loot and better trade with people! Do NOT however, use it to ask people for their stuff! Use the Trading form for that!

COLLECTABLES!

Without crafting, gathering feels a little empty. Whats the point of it? Eggs and coins? Thats it? Well now there is a fun little side quest with Collectables!! Well boosting items were added too but collectables are where its at! Their chances may increase/decrease depending on how fast they are found, but they are rare! Each one has their own little art that you only get to see if you find it + a little reward! Who knows what happens if you find them all...

Ransolite Contests

This is different from art contests or giveaways, here you simply read a prompt and answer it! Have fun showing off your Ransolite and telling stories about it! The winners will get rewards since thats how contests are! They could be something small like a couple hundred coins, but they may also be bigger! Like free art or a whole custom for free! Join in and have fun!

Other general news!

Next week on the 9th starts the Valentines event! You may start seeing preparation soon but it wont open till then! There is still a Giveaway active!
New eggs have been dropped! These are the last normal eggs of this month! The next normal eggdrop will be on the 2nd!
No promises, but maybe you can see some quests in the near future, giving more stuff for your Ransolite to do outside of adventuring and buying eggs!

I have written down all the eggdrop dates for this entire year and how many eggs I need to make to do so!
It's been a good run and I have been applying for jobs recently, so depending on how this year goes depends if or not Ransolites will keep going or will be closed/overhauled for a more.. interaction/art rather than collection.
Basically, I dont want to stop Ransolites. If I can't make Ransolites for all the events then eggdrops may become once a month and twice for events with the 1 egg rule re-implimented. If I cant keep track of activities then I will have to scrap/change them. If I cant keep playing CS then I will have to change it to something else. I don’t want to just, open Ransolites as a species and just... move on. Thats lame and all the Ransolites ive ever made become somewhat useless as people can just... make their own! Im not sure what will happen, it depends how Ransolites are by 2026!
If curious, all normal rare rans have been made for the year, I have enough Valentines rans to not need to make any at all this year, only normal 5 commons for the year need to be made and only normal 7 Uncommons! The "summer event" has had its plans made though no progress on it and Easter only needs a single rare assuming a rare doesnt get sold and I drop it again
Overall I hope to get most of these done before I get a job! We'll see!
