Username: Cactus Monster
Carthian Applying For: #2
Carthian's Name: Vias
Carthian's Personality:
Vias loves to have a good time and eat a lot of -whatever Carthians eat-, however when it comes to mining for coins he tries his best. Most of the time, he tries to hard and things go askew. Vias is loyal, and won't turn his back on you unless it is absolutely necessary or you have terribly wronged somebody he likes. Vias stands up for what he believes in, and the words "No" and "back down" are not in his vocabulary. If you say "yellowbelly" to him he'll blow up. When he is given a dare or challenge he will do it. If I could explain this Carthians personality in one word, it would be Headstrong. (Vias will not be defeated, because he is a BOSS. ) That's just the part that he shows you though. Underneath he is frightened and some might even say sick in the head.
What do Carthians mine for?: Coins. However, Vias may be the reason they only get one at a time.
Other?:
-fangirl screech-
Anyways I too have a bit of a story, about him. It's somewhat based on the pit and the pendulum.
I was SICK. Sick in the mind, my body however might as well be sick as well. I looked to my purple flanks and my bones were exposed my spine nearly sticking straight out of my soon to be carcass. I looked at the ceiling and new this is where it would end. In a world of torture that I could never wish on anyone. My body ached with hunger, it was like a beast ready to pounce on any unsuspecting victim, and my thirst was ten times worse. A loud cage door opening sound came from behind my frail body. "Come here boy, want some food." I trotted happily over to the bowl and he snatched it away and yanked me into his arms. The last thing I could remember was that his hands were so cold, as if he were dead.

I woke at night. Or, well I was sure it was night, light had peeked through the roof before, and it wasn't now. I tried to stand up, but my body had been strapped down. Just this simple fact gave me great agony. This was my worst fear, being strapped down. I looked up through pale eyes and saw a large blade. It was like an axe hanging down. A man's cold hard voice spoke "We have no use for you, and you have been more trouble than you were worth. You don't deserve to die painlessly" A thud caused the blade to begin moving swiftly back and forth.
For each swing a year of my life flashed before my eyes. Soon I began laughing. Death was unavoidable wasn't it? So why did I even try to impress all these people? I'd never meet them on the other side, would I?
My laugh scared me. It was like a chained demon had been let loose into the form of a laugh. "Not Even Death Can Hold Me You Scumbags!" a unearthly voice was released from my chest as the pendulum came upon my chest and then.... Slash.

"Vias wake up! You felll asleep in the mine again!" a voice called. I shook myself awake, and looked at my body. No spinal knobs. I then looked around. I sighed and said, "Coming"
Also, I agree to Tusk's statement. ONYX IS A BOSS.
