I guess that is fine. You just have to count the fish as one though.

Example, when the breeding section opens you won't be able to have both of those version of the fish breed at the same time, because they are the same. You also can't trade away the tattoo version of the fish and keep the original version of the fish, and this goes with any other fish you do this with to. I allow you to do what you are doing though because I agree it is cool to have the "before and after" photos of your fish!

oh yeah, it is the same fish for sure, I wouldn't try to do anything separate with them, I just like seeing the before and after!
