I guess the renting system could have a longer date of like 2 months? Instead of 3 weeks? Would that be enough time? It's not like I'm asking for everything to be done, just a little something to be made to show that you're going to be active with it.

For me the time limit doesn't matter for I dislike the idea of renting Clovenburgs all together.

It could be called something other than renting like a transitional phrase to make sure the Clovenburg will be cared for. Like how some breeders and real world adoption centers check up on their previously adopted dogs and other animals every few months or so to see if they're settling in comfortably.

I would suggest that you just post here when new ones are up for adoption, like you have been doing. I can see how that is a problem. I like the way you have it set up though! Maybe you can make a post on the front page with an image to the new adoptables, and when you click them it brings you to their adoption post with the form and all.

Maybe you can make a post on the front page with an image to the new adoptables, and when you click them it brings you to their adoption post with the form and all.

Well it's only a thought for now.

I've decided not to go with this idea of renting in a way. When people who worked hard on their forms wins, it's only their right to keep the character.

ALSO!

Breeding Rules:

- Every Clovenburg has unlimited breeding opprotunities
- They can not breed with normal horses/ any other horse species/breed
- If you wish to breed one of your Clovenburg with someone else's Clovenburg, you must have their *express permission.*

Express permission, means the owner of the other Clovenburg must fill out the form below, and private message me the completed permission slip- This must happen before I work on your breeding.
- You can not suggest anything for your foal. That includes no asking for a certain sex or eye color.
- No posting when we are closed.
- When we are open, please post your form on this thread only. Do not private message me forms.
- When sending me permission, please fill out the permission form.
- Foals take 3 weeks to grow up to be at least 3 years old. After they turn 3, they can be bred.
- Only Clovenburgs with a Job may breed.

This means all their training for the desired job must be completed and approved by a mod or the owner before they are eligible to breed.

A new rule was added a few days ago, and I wanted to point this out. So maybe this will encourage people to work on developing their Clovenburgs so that they can breed.

Regarding Sexual Orientation:

Yes, there is homosexuality out in the wild. Clovenburgs can be heterosexual, bisexual, or homosexual. May I repeat again, these are only horses. To be somewhat realistic, they can't be any other sexuality, as they can't comprehend or understand sexualities.
So yes, a mare can breed with a mare, and a stallion can breed with a stallion. Once your Clovenburg is gelded, that means they can not breed. You get to chose when to geld your stallion, or sterilize your mare.

I will be updating this section, so that Clovenburgs may be any gender, sexuality, etc as anyone pleases. I figure it would make them more relatable to anyone, and give them a little more unique traits.
I can't find my post where I said they can't be transgender since that kinda gives people the choice to re-assign the gender already given- I'm going to work on an option that you can make your Clovenburg transgender or to re-assign their gender, which will cost something to have me remove or add certain parts to fit the character you'd like.

Announcement!

Well yes, this is another announcement! :)
August 1st is when I will judge and pick out the winners for the mascot contest!

Once the winner has been picked, I will open up the banner contest!
Along with maybe a stamp contest? Something small for your signatures to show you love Clovenburgs :D

I have also decided that I am going to make the mascot interactive.
I will set up his training thread, with a Poll of what kind of Job he will have. Then once it has been voted which job he will train to be, I will invite all members of the Clovenburg community to help train him! You can submit art, stories, anything for his training page! The effort is limit less! Which means, I won't put a cap on who or when you can and cant participate! It will run at all times. People with or without their own Clovenburg will be able to add to his training.
As a gift for helping him train, every time you help out gets you a breeding with him!
Clovenburgs can breed unlimited times, but they MUST have a Job first before they can breed! Be sure to read all about breeding on the breeding thread!
