Your equid will remain in your possession until the next re-homing event. This is a bi-annual event now because of the equid boom and the fact that you can have as many as you want. The event will take approximately five months to complete from start date to finish, so wait a few more months and the next one will open up!

When that happens, the owner of the equid will have to submit their adoption form again to have it be adopted out. I doubt a case like this would come along though.

Yes, name changes will be allowed. <3

I haven't decided yet, but wanted to ask.
If people have slots saved, those are up to the new owners discretion if they want to keep them that way, unfortunately. The new owner has final say on reserved slots, but I'm sure the new owner will not have an issue with keeping the slots as is unless all 10 of them are reserved. If you want to warn people about the possible change, that would be better than them raging because the equid suddenly changed ownership and the new owner revoked their slot.
IMPORTANT!Zaxy made a boo boo. I thinkthe number of slots available should be added to forms. I made the change on the form code on the main page. If you guys could do me a favor and update your forms with the number of available slots your equid has, I'd be very happy, so I don't have to hunt them down. It'll make ownership transfer easier in the long run so you guys don't have people PMing you about them before they apply or after it has been won. At the least event, this wasn't an issue, but now some equids have bred 10 times, so it becomes an area of concern for future applicants. Help me help you. <3
