Spotty wrote:Hey everyone, thank you so much for all the comments and compliments. <3 I hope to have some adoptables eventually, when I have figured out how I want to set up the adoptions.
For now, we actually have the adult lineart, together with the first ever coloured-in rayena who will serve as our mascot for now.

She's soooo beautiful! .. Or he.. (personally, she looks like a she to me ^^) I love how the front paws are lighter than the back one

Thank you everyone, I'm so happy you like the first rayena. <3
She (or he) doesn't need a name just yet as she will only stay as the mascot until I have found the right rayena for myself, which probably will take the front page slot afterwards. As I'm practically drowning in design ideas but is lacking the time to pen them down I hope to be able to put up the very first set for adoption... soon-ish.
There will also be a juvenile lineart (sketch finished, needs lining (don't worry - it's adorable)), in case any of you would be interested in breeding your adult rayenas.
Aaaand I hope to start organizing the first page somehow, with separate posts for adoptables, breeding, extras, a list of owned rayenas... and maybe packs (in case you want to get organized). A little shop with the possibility to get some accessories? All the things I guess I'm going to need.
The big problem at the moment is probably how to set up a way to determine winners for adoptions, I guess I'll be going by some kind of form judging.
At the moment, as this topic is still on it's baby phase, feel free to post to share your thoughts and ideas. Organisation of front page? What kind of things do you want to see here, except for the adoptable rayenas, and what kind of adoption contests work the best in your experiance?

I think adding rules and such to one post, one post for adoptables, The organization is good so far, maybe adding a post where further information, or the info.
One for affiliates maybe? Or a small archive until there are more out there.
If you need help I would be willing to give some ouo
reposted so it won't get lost :3

For adoption you could do different kinds of contests; personality, name, history, etc.
As for the front page, it looks great! After all the info you can do adoption, the store/breeding or breeding on its sep. post and you can make the archives last or just on another topic.

I love these! They're very adorable! A great idea.
As for the contests, I'd say something along the lines of 'name it to win it' or create a backstory/personality, etc.

For how much effort you've put into these Spotty, I'd defiantly do something to atleast show some effort to get one.
Now you could always change it up every once in awhile, or stick to one type.
I prefer drawing for an adoptable -especially an original species, it reassures me that I will be able to draw the species properly. I've also seen lots of very nice story written ones, in which you post a story or RP snippet in which a character of yours is trying to win over said creature.
Honestly love to see which way you will do it, either way I'm going to give it a try :3
