I sigh as I finally reach Ahzen.
I've been trekking months to get here. But now...
I quietly sneak in, looking for someone, anyone Ahzenai who is available. I see two that catch my eye, but it seems they are a bit.... Well, they just aren't quite accommodating. Not to me, anyway. Sure, they might be nice but-
Wait.
What's that?
I see some purple and green in the corner of my eye and turn around slowly. There, in my view, is a beautiful male who is seeming to try so hard not to cower from everyone. I hear two people muttering that he is shy and "afraid of everything."
On the contrary, I think. He's very brave, standing out here like that. I see that he needs some space and I quietly sit a few feet away from him. "Hello..." I say shyly, not being brave myself. "Um...." I really don't know what to do next, so I quietly pull out my guitar and begin to play a soft, relaxing solo, hoping this will at least assuage his fears a little bit.
Did I forget to mention I have a guitar? I play it at night when I get scared(If I get scared that is.), and it helps me calm down.
I hope it'll do the same for this poor Ahzen who seems to be scared of his own shadow.
After I finish, I look at him and smile softly. "Are you alright?" I ask. "I hope you liked it. It's supposed to help with calming people down...." I look into his beautiful dark eyes and say in the sweetest and calmest tone possible, "Listen, I'm Calypso. Deiko... Would you like to come with me? All I want is a companion, not to go on dangerous adventures or scary climbs or anything like that. I just want to go out and sit on a beach, or watch the sunset. You know... I don't want an adventurer. I just want a friend."
I pause and look at him, smiling. "If you come with me, I would even be happy to live here if this is the place for you. I'm just..." I try to get the word out.
"I'm lonely. And I see that you seem to be as well. Maybe we could be scared together. I'm scared of a lot of things..."
I look at him again, this time, with a slightly pleading look in my eyes. "So... What do you say?"
