Lightning flashed throwing all things into high contrast, a loud Thunderous boom echoed over the Expanse of the island. A shiver passed through Nalin. Nature was beautiful, It was Amazing, Frightening but most of all.. It was Fun. She cocked her head as the first wave of wind hit her, Flaring out her wings just enough to catch the air, but not enough for it to rip her from her perch. Wrapping her claws securely around the vines below, They would be her theater to earth this time. She readied herself for the next gust of wind, watching closely for the tell tale flattening of the plants before her, as it approached she opened her wings a little farther, this time the wind drug her aloft.

Squealing with glee, the vine rope trailed out below her as she was lifted high into the air, Around her she heard other crys of joy as others of her kind joined her, It was not often They Experienced A storm of this ferocity here on the island, And a little mischievous thrill seeker like her would not miss the chance to have a bit of fun.

When her tether Finally pulled taunt she was high above the island, much higher than any other Fasheea Dare go in a storm like this, She allowed her Wings to fully open and the full might of the storm take her. IT slammed into her wings before she could correct them, Forcing her to plummet toward the ground below. With an angry growl she rightened herself and rocketed back up to her high altitude on an air pocket.

This time she staled aloft by leisurely waving her tail side to side against the wind, She could hover here for days like this, enjoying the sights and smells. Elated she screamed her joy into the howling wind, Getting a spray of water in the face as an answer, Snorting and shaking her head in contempt the looked around, her fun was over, once the rain came it would drag her back down to the earth, whether she wanted it to or not. Groaning she drifted for a little wile longer, undetured by the close flashes of lighting. Determined she would ride this storm to the end.

I sauntered through the pale grasses, my green pelt blending in easily and disguising me from view. I darted up a nearby tree as i spotted one of my friends, a fellow Fashea named Redd. She was surrounded by a group of males around our age who were jostling for position next to her. I could hear them purring sweet nothings into her ears as she chirped back. Redd cooed and fluttered her eyelashes at the boys, stopping just beneath my branch to show off her feminine charms.

Perfect!... i thought, leaping off the tree and landing squarely with all four paws on her back, squishing her. "Got you!" i crowed, puffing out my chest with pride. "Sixty-four points for me, and one for you!" i said, laughing as i swatted her flank playfully, emphasizing my point. The male Fashea looked at me as if i was crazy, but then noticed my shining coat. One of them walked up to me, his bright blue tail attracting my attention. I chirped excitedly, drawing him closer. Suddenly, i turned, whisking my tail across his face and leaving him stunned. Laughing, i darted at another male, knocking the feet out from under him. He went down in a tangle of glistening bronze and flashing silver. I turned to the others, who, honestly, looked a bit scared.

"Boo." i hissed, and they ran. Grinning, i went back to Redd. She looked upset. "What's the matter?" i chirped, quite pleased with myself.

"Whats the matter? You honestly think nothings' wrong? You just blew my chances with any of those guys, including Reyv. He's the most available male Fash on the island, not to mention the most handsome. You just tripped him. Now he probably thinks i'm weird." Redd hissed sadly, curling up into a little fiery ball of fur. Her dark purple tail stuck out like a twig behind her.

"You honestly think that i would ruin your chances? I'm just giving them a test. If they really care about you, they'll come back." i chirped back. Was Reyv really the male Fash with the bronze and silver fur i had easily tripped with my tail? Who was the male Fash with the brightest blue markings i had even seen? i thought, my thoughts being taken over by the image of Reyv's handsome dark and light fur. I curled up a little ways from Redd, who was already asleep.

Nodding my head, i yawned, my thoughts consumed by the image of Reyv. "Good night, my beautiful angel." i heard a voice say right before i closed my eyes. I thought i saw a flash of bronze and silver fur above me as i drifted into sleep, but i couldn't be sure.....

Oh wow, this one was really hard to judge... since I loved all three entries equally as well. <3

~Moon~: Your depiction of her personality was so adorable, the way she seemed to fool each and every possible suiter with her flower like charm and beauty. X3 Reminds me very much of my calico cat!

I LOVE MTV TEEN WOLF: Your entry was wonderful. <3 Your characters interacted nice and smooth, and Aenea was a real handful! xD I loved the part where she said "Boo." and scared them away. Those chickens!

Horneddragon: Wow, your entry was so... powerful. You could really, really feel the power of the storm when she took flight, her determination and spunk welling forth from the very writing itself. You did an excellent job.

And I'll state again, you guys made it almost impossible to judge!! B: But in the end, I finally managed to choose a winner. ;u;
