ᴋᴇɴɴᴇʟ ɴᴜᴍʙᴇʀ: Zenith can be found in kennel number two.

ᴡʜʏ ᴅᴏ ʏᴏᴜ ᴡᴀɴᴛ ᴛʜɪs ᴄʜᴀʀᴀᴄᴛᴇʀ?: When I first saw her, the first thing I thought of was 'oh wow, look at her ;A;'. She'd be super fun to roleplay with, write stories about, and order and make art of. I think she would also make a great sibling to my other lion character, Tau. With her quiet personality, she could help him stop being so reckless and dangerous.

ᴘᴇʀsᴏɴᴀʟɪᴛʏ

sʜʏ: She often sits quietly off to the side, and lets people come to her instead of jumping up to introduce herself. She doesn't do it to be rude, she just has a hard time finding the confidence to talk to people she doesn't know yet. She'll often avoid social events, just because they throw her out of her comfort zone. She dislikes playing music in front of other people, especially a large crowd. However, she can sometimes be persuaded to play in front of one or two people.

ʜᴇʟᴘғᴜʟ: She loves to help others, though because of her shyness she will really only help her friends. She is up to doing practically any job, regardless of how difficult it is. Coupled with her shyness, people sometimes take this helpfulness and use it to their advantage, getting her to do almost everything for them. Even though she works in a department store, her dream job is to become a music teacher and help students play many instruments.

ᴍᴜsɪᴄᴀʟ: Music is what Zenith lives for. She plays many, many different instruments, but her favourites are definitely piano and violin. Whenever she is at home she spends the majority of her time practicing one of more pieces of music. She loves to take new, popular songs and play them on her classical instruments.

ʜɪsᴛᴏʀʏ

Zenith was born in the heart of New York to a family that couldn't really afford another child. When she was three weeks old, the stress of raising two children caused her mother to leave, meaning that Zenith's father was left to raise her and her older brother, Tau. He had to take on two jobs, so Zenith and Tau hardly ever saw him. While the change didn't seem to bother Zenith (she was too young to really remember her mother in any detail), her brother took it hard. He started skipping school and hanging out with all of the wrong crowds. He too was hardly ever in the house, leaving Zenith alone for most of the time. She would spend her days after school wandering through the streets, watching the residents, tourists and the street performers go about their daily lives. It was there that she picked up her love for music.
Since she was very small, Zenith had been fascinated by the musical street performers. She could sit there and listen to them for hours, taking in every note that they played. When she would go home, she would still be humming the songs that she heard. Her father noticed this love for music, and managed to scrape together enough money to buy Zenith a violin. She treasured the instrument, keeping it locked safe in her room when she was out, and playing it for hours as soon as she got home. In the year she received the violin, she learned five different musical pieces, including Bach's Partita No. 2, which, even now, is one of her absolute favourite pieces.
Upon entering high school, Zenith took her first actual music lessons (until this point she was completely self taught). Although she greatly enjoyed it, she rarely had the money to keep going to the lessons, so took up street performing. She sat on a street corner every weekend, playing her violin for the whole street to hear. People loved to listen, and soon she was making enough money to continue going to her music lessons. However, she hated the job. Performing in front of others made her incredibly nervous, so most of the time she would not look at anyone directly.
She got into college on a musical scholarship, and earned a two year degree in music. But, no matter how hard she tried, she could not get a job doing what she loved. She ended up working in a department store behind the counter. While it paid fairly well and allowed her to move out of her family home and into an apartment, she absolutely hated it. Every night she would go home and search the newspaper for anyone offering a job as a music teacher, but she has yet to find one. Eventually she settled into the job she had, but she still wishes to move on to other things.

Lyrics; I got this username because I love music, and I have a fursona called Lyrics' Darkness. I have always been attracted to songs with nice lyrics, thus my user and fursona.

She's so stunning, and I love dragons. I don't have any dragon characters and she caught my interest the moment I saw her. And the colours are some of my favourites, and I think they blend so amazingly.

Name:
Taiyou {{Tay, as a nickname}
It means 'Sun' in Japanese, a language I am currently hoping to learn. Also, the inspiration came from that beautifully drawn sun marking on her. Sun is a special thing to me as I was born in the summer and I consider it a kind of Guardian. And I think a dragon being a sun guardian fits perfectly.

Personality:
Tay is outgoing, and loves to party as long as she possibly can. She is fairly quiet until she opens up to anybody, and likes to take the easy way out of situations. She wouldn't hesitate to save her friends, in any which way she could think of. She's also strong and wouldn't hesitate to hurt somebody if she was pushed to it. Taiyou is quite selfless, always thinking of her friends and family before herself.

Tay doesn't hold grudges for very long, but is not one to forgive right after a fight happens, physical or verbal. But she will forgive after an amount of time, depending on how bad she feels about what had happened during that fight. She has barely ever not forgiven somebody, only once or twice, but it was a bad situation she was in. She can tend to be serious when she's had enough of somebody acting up or calling her names.

Taiyou can be regal when she needs to, as she's the princess of the sun kingdom...of the dragons. She's not one to order others around, and doesn't like to think of herself as higher than anyone. When she has to, she will become snappy and royal, but that is fairly rare. Overall, she's pretty laid back with her royal blood and all.
History:
Tay's head shot up as her name was called repeatedly.
"Taiyou!" A high-sounding voice hollered to her chamber.
Ugh, mom. Tay thought wordlessly as she hauled herself off the spongy floor and stretched out her regal wings. Made for flying, her mom always said. She put on her carefully jewel-decorated crown and sighed, glaring at the floor. She hated royal life. Taiyou this, Taiyou that, Taiyou attend the peasants meals, Taiyou sweep the dungeon.
For the love of mice. Tay thought,"Why can't she accept my name is TAY now, not Taiyou. It's too fancy!" she growled, kicking a stone.
As she thudded clumsily down the spiraling staircase, her tail whipped out and hit a 1000 year old vase, shattering it into teensy bits. Taiyou's un-glowing eyes stared at it like a deer in the headlights for a moment, before turning tail and pounding down the isolated stairs.

Tay's mom stood before her, looking down on her daughter without a movement.
"You broke the vase. Doyou know how PRECIOUS that was to me, you little egg?!" Tay's mom snarled, hitting her taloned foot in front of Tay's terrified face.
"I'm sorry, mother." Taiyou wailed, thrashing her tail lightly to show she was.
But, Tay's mother looked very unforgiving. She slapped Tay to the ground with a hard blow from a single talon.
"I will not forgive." The muscled female dragon growled. She dug her talons into Tayiou's tail. "I will take your eyes, in exchange for forgiveness."
Tayiou used to have eyes as beautiful as the sea, they were an almost see-through sky blue with right-sized pupils and small, electric blue waves surrounding the pupil.
"Okay." Tay said reluctantly.
As the spell began, Tayiou began to feel the world get darker. Her mother had mercy and gave Tay almost blinding yellow-orange glowing eyes as a replacement. Tayiou can still see.
About four{human} years after
Taiyou had her hatchling chores set aside, and she could hunt and fly freely.
