Reason why you want to adopt it: She's very pretty <3 I've been looking for a Daeet for a while now, but none have really caught my fancy. Her metal like colours and light yellow touches make me think of metal lit by a fading sun. Looking more closely reveals a deep greenish hue, and sparkling colours on her greyish fur. She reminds me of a wrapped gift, the true joy hidden under a more simple but still optically pleasing wrapper. I can't imagine how stunning she will be when she's full grown <3

Desired name: Noel. I chose this name because of her deep steely green colours and yellow hues reminding me of a silver christmas ornament next to a soft yellow light (reflecting green and yellow)

Age: 1.5 Months now, when grown, Young Adult (I can't find how long they live, so however many years old a young adult would be)

Wow, jack (Jack made this litter, right? XD), this litter is beautiful! I especially love Female 01; who I hope to name Ventulus, a nice, cool grey Daeet with a beautiful multicolored blanket. At the moment I only have one Daeet, Hikaru, and I would like for him to have a friend or playmate to hang out with. She's really pretty looking, with her smexy colorful blanket. X3 Though her pelt may seem normal or bare, I fell in love at first sight and would love to have the privilege to own such a pretty Daeet.

This name is the Latin word for "breeze", which I thought would suit her. Though, she prefers to go by Tulu.

She is 3 years old, currently. :3

Personality:
Tulu is usually quiet and secretive, for she loves keeping secrets from others, strange as it may be. She is.. "Hard to figure out", at times, but throw a good joke at her and she'll be your friend for life. She has a good sense of humor and laughs at just about anything worth laughing about. (Unless it's something mean, of course.) In groups or crowds, she's almost always the outcast, but she doesn't let it get her down. She likes being alone because it helps her keep her secrets from others. Tulu is a loyal friend, even though she doesn't have many people whom she considers her "friends". She would push a friend out of the way of a train, endangering her own life in the process. To recap, her loyalty is undying toward her friends; she is usually the quiet, secretive, outcast of the group; and she has a great sense of humor.

History:
"Where am I?" Tulu thought. She looked around curiously. "It's dark.. And it's cold.." She yawned, drowsily discovering her surroundings were a cave. She was alone, huddled in her blanket. The cave was dark inside, and there was barely any light showing. The only trace of light was a tiny speck of it, quite some way off, but it was fading. Quickly. Tulu decided it was sundown, and that light was the end of the cave. She began running, desperately trying to reach the end of the cave before the light faded and she would be lost forever in the freezing darkness. "Faster.." She pushed herself harder. The light was fading, but also getting nearer. It seemed so far.. And then it happened. The light vanished without a trace, and suddenly she was lost. Alone, nobody there to comfort her, nobody there..
Nobody to tell her everything would be alright.
Tulu snapped up, panting and gasping for air as though she could not breathe. She looked around. It was morning. "A dream.." She yawned and stretched up, eyes still dilated with the effects of the nightmare. The whole thing was still spinning in her head. "It was only a dream.." She numbly remembered that the events had occurred in actuality, just a few weeks ago, to be more specific.
"Oh, how I wish it was only a dream.."

Where will it be used?
She will be displayed in my signature, alongside Hikaru. I will also place her on my Daeets thread, where my adopted Daeets go.

How will you use it?
I will draw her as much as I can, and as often as I can. Though, I draw most of my drawings on paper, so you might not see much. ^-^'

Honestly, when I heard that Jack was stepping down from their place as an artist, I was pretty sad. I mean, every artist is special to an adoptables thread, and I just hope that we will be seeing some litters from them eventually again, since they will remain as a part time artist. But I was determined even before I saw these beauties that I had to try out for one of Jack's very last litter.
Now, there is the fact that as soon as I saw these little ones, I instantly became attracted to this very special second male. His colors are very vibrant and beautiful, and I instantly had ideas about him. <3 I already have a male, I know, but honestly, I could just tell from the start that this little guy was going to be especially beautiful when he is grown. Honestly, his bright colors remind me already alot of a bright, flashy peacock, but with a hint of wintery softness and that in itself is going to affect his personality just a bit.

Name Meaning -
It is a 19th Century, Old English name that means "A bright, river valley", well fitting his physical looks as well as his past.

Personality:
Kendall is often refered to as the "Peacock" by many of the Daeets he meets, for lack of a better word. His colors are, in themselves, very vibrant and bright, much like the tail feathers of a male peacock and his bursting blue body. But besides the outward appearence, this young male stalks around with his chest all puffed up, head held up high as he practically tries to look down upon anyone else. He absolutely hates it when someone, mainly older males, are taller/larger then him, because then he isn't the top guy anymore, and being in charge is something he strives to maintain constantly.
Kendall is most definately a ladies man, in practically every aspect of the term. He never plans on settling down with just one female as a mate, prefering greatly to just play around with as many females as he could. He is the father to an unknown amount of children already, and at his young age, he just knows that there are going to be quite a few more before the time of his death. The female that he is flirting with may already have a firm mate, but Kendall won't bother enough to care. As long as the male isn't around to catch him, he'll just continue on with what he is doing.

History:
From the start of Kendall's life, everything seemed to be just picture perfect in each way possible. The valley with which he was born in was high up in a mountain range, far away from most dangers, especially humans. Or so was believed by the daeets living in the magical place. There was a large group of male Daeets living together, traveling together, in their own sort of 'pack', but never straying beyond the safe walls of the valley. There was also a number of female Daeets, just roughly close to the same amount as the males, who mainly lived on their own, each having their own 'den' of sorts, speaking with one another only when they had the displeasure of running into the others.

Kendall's mother was an extremely prissy daeet, her hatred for the other females of her kind rising above that of most. But his father was one of the kindest and most down-to-earth creatures in the entire valley. When they got together, becoming mates, everyone was in total shock, for they were literally the opposite of each other. Even looks wise, for while she was a vibrant pink, he was a dull gray. Now Kendal, well, he was the only child born from the pair's very first, and only, litter. While he was around, his parents seemed to be completely and totally in love, always together, but what no one knew was how little they really liked each other.

The first time little Kendall caught them fighting, and I mean both physically and verbally, he was only two months old, and being quite so young, he believed that they were just playing with each other, having a bit of fun. So he ignored it. But it continued to happen, over, and over, and over again, and before he was a year old, he began to hear things spreading around through the groups of Daeets. Things like, his mother being with more then one male, cheating on his father, and them constantly fighting about it as the older male struggled to remain faithful to his mate as well. Finally, one day, it became too much for them, and he, in a fit of anger, killed his mate. But the guilt quickly overcame him, and Kendall's father took off, leaving the safety of the valley forever, never to be seen again.

Now both of these loses took a great toll on the yearling, changing him from his bubbly and sweet nature into a cold-hearted male who cared about no one but himself. His mother's treachery towards his father had made him now believe that love was all a lie, it never existed, not for anyone. And even if someone seemed happy with another, they never truelly were, for it was always going to be a battle to keep with them. So, Kendall became, what is commonly referred to, as a 'player'. He toyed with as many female daeets as he wanted to, not caring at all who he hurt in the process. And once he had gone through each and every one of the available, and not available, women in the valley, he decided to leave. So one day, he walked straight out, leaving the protection given to them by the bordering walls of sheer rock.

No one has seen him since that day, but still he wanders, searching for something, anything, to give him hope. Even though he does not understand the concept himself, maybe not even realizing what it is he is after, what he trully wants, deep down within his heart, is just like what everyone seeks for. Someone to show him the love he doesn't believe is real.

Where will it be used?
I will definately put him in the recently created thread for my Daeet "Clan", per say. Here is the link, if you would like to check and see the legitimacy of it HD. (Click Here). He would recieve his own special spot/post just like my other darlings, and perhaps I would even put him in my signature. I know I say this alot, but you see, I'm trying to figur eout how to do that whole "rotating between different images/changing the images constantly in a cycle" type thing, but I have yet to figure out how to do that or where to do it. Once I have, you will certainly see this boy, if I am honored with his presence as mine, as well as some of my other Daeets in my signature, rotating between each other. (:
How will you use it?
I will definately order him some art, as I plan on doing with all of my babies once I can find a good Daeet fan-artist. I will also likely add to his personality/history a bit, getting into more details. He will likely even be doodled a bit by myself, but I tend to doodle these sort of things on my homework assignments when I get bored so you may not see them. ^.^
