Gingerbread Hunt Round 2

Wandering through the village, you come across a house that's bigger than the rest. It's strange, but somehow inviting, and before you know it you're already at the front door. However, as you're about to knock you realise the door's already open... despite everything, you step inside and close the door behind you. You find yourself in a long hallway with a door at either end, and some stairs in the middle.

After making your way deep into the forest, you begin your search and start checking the nearby trees for Gingerbread's home. About halfway through your search though, you hear a faint rustling in the bushes nearby. It's too dark to see but you swear something's watching you...

Stand your ground, or back away?

After a long and exhausting climb, you're almost at the summit of one of the tallest mountains in the area. You take a moment to catch your breath and enjoy the view, and as you do so you see something marvelous. A huge eagle soars close by and over the mountainside, and as your eyes follow it you spot a some ravens perched on some rocks close by.

Standing on the lake shore, you very carefully make your way out onto the ice to inspect the waterfall. It's quite impressive, and the water's crystal clear... so clear you can spot something in the rock wall behind it! You shuffle closer and to the side, then peer past the water juuuust enough to see a gap in the wall. It's big enough to crawl inside, but who knows what lurks within.

On the border between the forest and the mountains, you wander next to the trees, checking each one as you pass it. There's not much of interest here, but your boredom is suddenly halted when a beautiful but spine-chilling howl echoes from a distance away...

It's taken quite a while, but you've managed to reach the summit of a great mountain. You look out over the rest of the map area, and the view is simply breathtaking... However, you weren't looking where you were going, and you trip over something. You're sent tumbling into a hole you didn't see; and when you wake up you're somewhere very dark indeed. Lucky for you, you have your flashlight, and as it flickers on you notice two passageways. One leads down into the earth, but the other heads upwards... perhaps an exit?

It's not the tallest mountain, but with it's two strange peaks you felt strangely drawn to it. With the assistance of one of the local villagers, now you're almost at the top... but wait, which top will you go to? It doesn't help that the villager acted oddly nervous about coming here. Maybe this wasn't the best idea...
