Kennel Number: 4
Name: Dismas (changed from Thorn)
Gender: Male
Species Weasel/Ferret
What do you plan to use this adoption for: I plan to use him for stories, roleplays, as a possible pet for my fursona, a possible friend or mate for my ferret/weasel character, Yuki Seasonal.
Personality: Dismas is extremely smart, cunning, resourceful, and very sly. He's extremely mischievious and enjoys doing things like hiding your favorite jewelry in places that you can't reach. If you ask him where he hid it, he'll tell you a riddle you have to figure out instead of giving you a straight answer, just to tick you off. Despite his mischievious ways, he's not evil, he's quite a softy...deep down inside and just wants to be loved and given attention.
Background:
Dismas was born one of seven baby ferrets. It was a large number and his mother could hardly keep track of all of them and she often ended up forgetting one or overlooking them. Most of the time, it was Dismas who got overlooked. He wanted his mother's attention, so in effort to get it, he would get into trouble because that seemed to be the only time in which he would get noticed by his mother. In his heart, he knew he'd much rather get noticed for good things, but his mom never seemed to notice or be around when he did do good deeds.
As time went by, misbehaving became a bad habit he couldn't break himself of, he'd become so used to it that it became his nature. Getting into trouble. Ever since he'd been able to walk, he had made far too many messes and gotten into plenty of trouble. In the end, his mother's humans weren't happy at all and when he came of age to be separated from his mother, he and his siblings were shipped to the nearest pet shop so they could get rid of their problem.
He spent several weeks in there, caged up with his brothers and sisters and some other ferrets he didn't know. As time went by, the more ferrets around him got adopted. The numbers slowly dwindled until it was just him. The last ferret in the pet shop. It was as if no body wanted him. But he wanted to be wanted, or rather, he wanted his own human. Someone who loved him for who he was and accepted his mischievious ways.
Other:
I'll probably come back and do some major editing to this. I feel it's not quite up to snuff, at least, not by my standards. XD I'm so used to writing full-fledged stories that writing like this is just plain awkward to me and seems so...incomplete. XD

Kennel Number: 2
Name: Prince
Gender: Male
Species Lion
What do you plan to use this adoption for: I plan to use Prince for roleplays, stories, and possibly a mate for my only female lion character, Olivia. ^^; Not quite sure yet about whether I want to use him for that reason or not. XD
Personality: Prince is a confident and proud little cub mostly because he knows that if he wasn't, others would see him as weak and make fun of him. Prince is very brave, often standing up to bullies who are picking on another cub. He's got a heart of gold and when given a task to do, he will never let you down.
Background:
Because only tough guys dare to be pink.
He was born to a set of parents who loved him very much, his father was King Tafari and his mother was Thema, they were the leaders of their pride. They knew that he was going to make a great leader someday and so they named him Prince. To his parents' dismay, when Prince developed his coat, it wasn't brown or tan, or any other normal coat color. It was pink! His parents knew that his fur color couldn't be hidden from the pride and they knew they couldn't leave him in the den either, so they let him out to go play and make friends, even though they knew that he would probably be laughed at and made fun of; but they didn't really have a choice. He would just have to learn to fend for himself.
Prince noticed he was different the instant he stepped out of the den and padded over to where some of the other male cubs were playing. As soon as he approached and introduced himself, they all burst out laughing. They all made cruel comments and jokes about his coat. Calling him a Prissy Prince was one of the names that he hated the most. His ears laid back and he backed away, then ran off to the den and cried.
One time, when he was being bullied, someone stood up against his attackers for him...a girl. Of course that made them laugh more and make fun of him for needing a girl to help him.
"I don't need a girl to protect me!" He protested before they ran off.
"You need to stand up to them you know." The lioness cub told him. "You need to get over the fact that you have an unusual coat color and just strut it like you don't care. Don't let them get to you."
He took these words to heart and has been strutting off his stuff ever since he managed to come to grips with his color. He was proud to be pink and everyone else was just jealous that they couldn't have a pink coat too. At least, that's what he'd think to himself as he walked by them, head held high.
Other:
I couldn't resist trying for this guy too, just looking at him and knowing that someone would probably want to make him female just because he was pink broke my heart. Knowing this, I knew I had to save him from a sex change and give him a good story. So far, the story reminds me so much of myself when I was a kid and was made fun of for being fat. I may add more to his background, make it more like a story than a background, though I think it sort of already is. XD If or when I get him, I kinda want to get a picture of him strutting by a bunch of other lion cubs and have writing that says, "You Jelly?" or what I have in the pink in my form, or something along those lines. XD
