You call your volux over and continue your trek down the winding path. There's now a gentle breeze, making it more comfortable to move. There's a faint rustling in the grass ahead, and Silvery looks at you for permission to investigate. Before you address him, though, you notice something lying where he's standing. It's an item!

Will you take the item, or let Silvery investigate?

Let him investigate!

You give your volux a nod, and he creeps into the grass to find the source of the sound. You wait nervously, not knowing where he is. Then you see something shoot off across the path; it seems Silvery scared the creature off! He tries to chase it, but gives up and comes back to you instead. You soon notice that he hasn't come back empty-pawed, though. He's carrying an item!

Will you take the item, or follow the noise one last time?

Grey leads you out into a mountainous trail, running to investigate everything in sight. You look up at the mountain, wondering whether to climb it today, or to take the second path that seems to curve behind the mountain and downwards. You take one glance at the grey clouds and decide hiking would be a mistake.

Taking the overgrown pathway, you soon stumble upon something lying on the ground... it's a medium bag of arcane!

Will you take the bag or venture into The Unknown?

Note: I've updated the wild volux mutation percentages so it's easier to get them. The forest and lake do not yet have their own specific mutations, so they simply give regular wild volux with a small chance of any random mutation. Good luck with finding the rare traits!

I'll walk further into the field, please!ahuhfd if I don't respond within a week of the original post of expedition do I have to start another expedition or...? I'm sorry I'm really dumb and forgetful

(Don't worry about it! The only thing you'll have to face with late replying is a later return date, but I can't be online quite as often now anyway. Stop being so hard on yourself!)
Deciding to continue on, you kick the bag again for good measure, and it disappears into the snow. Cloudy seems to approve, and the two of you soon find yourselves in the center of the field. It's colder here, and the wind seems to be picking up. You see a small overhang at the end of the field which could help you take cover from the cold for a bit, and begin to approach it.

Suddenly, Cloudy dives on something in the snow; what could it be? When you go to check, you discover it to be a large bag of arcane!

You enter a calm forest, Aliya raring to go ahead of you. The two of you walk deep into the trees, realising that the path had faded behind you into a trail visible only by its slightly more solid texture. You continue straight ahead, careful not to move the wrong way and forget the way back. You pause for a moment to check the path is still behind you, and Aliya begins digging through the leaf matter nearby. You call her over to continue walking, and she finally pulls something out of the ground. She's found a small bag of arcane!

Your volux seems to have decided the route for today: you find yourself walking through a snow-covered clearing, surrounded by dark evergreens capped with white. It's cold, and the wind cuts through your thin jacket with ease. It seems you were not prepared for this.

As you shiver, you notice something in the snow beside you. Walking over to pick it up, you notice that it's a bag of arcane!

Follow the noise one last time

You creep after the noise once more, trying to step quietly among the dry grass. You're close now, about to reach it, when...

Silvery crashes towards the noise, ready to catch it for you. The creature flees for the last time, and you're left standing in the field. Your volux seems disappointed, but soon brighten up: it seems he's found you something to take back anyway!

You begin jogging as rain starts to fall. Cloudy shakes irritably, running ahead of you and jumping into the shelter. You stop to catch your breath under the overhang, watching the rain pouring down even more heavily than before. It seems you'll be here for a while, so you decide to look around the small space. To your left, there's just bare stone... but what's that behind you? It looks like someone left a small bag of arcane on the ledge!

You call her over and continue walking among the trees, leaving the small bag lying on the ground. It's dark in this part of the forest, the branches blocking out most of the light. You can see a faint movement up ahead: is it an animal, or just your imagination? Perhaps the shadows are just playing with your eyes...

Before you can investigate further, something catches your attention. There's a medium bag of arcane lying beside a tree!
