Spider's Personality:
Spider comes out as The Duty Fulfiller
Spider is a quiet and reserved individual, who is interested in security and peaceful living. He has a strongly-felt internal sense of duty, which lends him a serious air and motivation to follow through on tasks. Organized and methodical in his approach, he can generally succeed at any task he undertakes.
Spider is very loyal, faithful and dependable. He places a great importance on honesty and integrity. He takes things very seriously, though can also have a sense of humour and can be a lot of fun.
Because Spider is dependable on following through on things he has promised, he sometimes gets too much work on him. He has a really hard time saying “No” when he is given more work than he can reasonably handle, resulting in him working long hours.
He will work for long periods of time and put tremendous amounts of energy into doing any task which he can see as important to fulfilling a goal. However, Spider will resist putting energy into things which don't make sense, or for which he can't see a practical application. Spider prefers to work alone, but work well in teams when the situation demands it. He like to be accountable for His actions, and enjoys being in positions of authority.
In general, Spider has a tremendous amount of potential. Capable, logical, reasonable, and effective with a deeply driven desire to promote security and peaceful living, he has what it takes to be highly effective at achieving his chosen goals - whatever they may be.

Story:
I was in the school library studying for an upcoming test. Something about World war one and its history. I had finished the first part and was about to start the second part when a teacher came around and asked
“You can go home now. Why are you still here?”
“My parents don’t get home until later, and I left my key at home… So I have to wait and I have nothing else to do” I replied embarrassed because I would forget my head if it wasn’t screwed on properly. She laughed and shook her head before replying
“Well you have half an hour before I have to lock up here”
“Yes, Ms Jones. I might head over to Kayla’s house and pick up our science project”
“Good girl. Get home safely!” she said as she smiled and headed back to the massive pile of paperwork. I gathered my gear and noticed a small black book under my jumper. That’s strange…that wasn’t there when I came in I scooped it up and looked for a library code, but there wasn’t one. I grabbed my gear and slung my bag over my shoulder and headed back towards where Ms Jones was.
“Ms Jones? I found this book… I was wondering if it was yours or… I don’t know?”
Ms Jones smiled and looked at the book “Not one I know of, it looks like a diary but there is nothing written in it”
“It might be Brittney’s book, I must have picked it up when I rushed out of Maths” I tried to remember if it was Brits book or not, she was one to have a book like this but I usually had her name in the front covers page “I’ll return it to her tomorrow” I said as Ms Jones gave me back the book and returned to her work.
I checked my watch 5:13 not another hour until my father would be home. I kept walking to the small park near my house and sat down on a park bench and took out the small book. I opened it to see a small pendant sitting in the book “That wasn’t there before, even Ms Jones said there wasn’t anything it the book” I mumbled as I picked it up and held it in the palm of my hand. It was a strange pendant, wrapped in an intricate silver design which was connected to a small leather tie; I held the pendent in my hand watching the red colour against the pallor of my skin. I flipped the first few pages that had strange designs written everywhere, I thought I was Chinese but it was very different with swirls and strange lines, way different to Chinese. I turned the page to see a strange sketch of something that faintly looked like a canine. The strangest thing was that it had eight legs and two tails and on a closer inspection had… pincers like actual pincers!
Curiosity took control and I sat there reading and observing the different drawings. I must have been there for a while because it was now dark and the park lights were glowing. I had read to at least half way in the book when my hand got really hot and my skin started to sizzle “Oww!” I yelled as I dropped the pendant on the ground and looked at my hand. It now bared a red design of a spiralling sun with the same design as on the creature in the middle of it. Something moved in the tree “Who’s there? Okay now I’m officially freaked out” I said as I quickly shoved the book and picked up the pendant and put it in my pocket and quickly walked back towards my house.
I was being watched… I felt its gaze before I saw its eyes. Big, glowing red eyes staring at me, I froze. It started to walk towards me. The streetlights turning out before it reached them. I stared at it slowly creeping up towards me, those red eyes staring at me as though it could see right through me. I noticed a small light glowing near my hand; I looked down to see the scars glowing the same red as the creature making its way towards me. I freaked and ran.
I ran down several streets to get to the national park where I knew tonight they were holding a movie marathon in the old park theatre. If I remembered correctly they were going to play ‘Nightmare on Elm Street’ which gave me no comfort. I had seen the movie before, it was about a serial-killer who wields a glove with four blades embedded in the fingers and kills people in their dreams, resulting in their real death in reality. Just thinking about it gave me chills. I stopped to take in my surroundings. In the distance I heard its feet pounding against the concrete pavement. I walked quickly to where the theatre was but stopped when I saw a large sign say Closed. Do Not Enter. I was trying to figure out what to do but I didn’t know. My only option was to run somewhere with people but this is the only place where a large amount of people would go tonight. Brits. Brit will be home and her house is close to here I thought and with one glance behind me to see if that thing was coming, I bolted.
I got to Brittney’s street ten minutes later. My feet hitting the ground and the low howls of the creature following me were the only noise in the deserted street. I ran past the letter boxes 154 156 158 finally I reached 160. Brit’s house looked as though it was abandoned. I instantly hated her mom for buying this house. He parents had believed they could transform it into something lovely but gave up after the first week of just cleaning out the cob-webbed infested rooms.
I slowly made my way up the cold stone steps; I shivered, as though ice had replaced my bones. The cold air had enveloped my entire body. The moonlight was casting a ghoulish glow on the house. Vines had formed a twisted maze upon the side of the house, reaching their tentacles towards the roof shingles, some of which hang loosely causing them to look like black icicles. The house’s walls showed black decay by neglect. Splotches of the original paint hinted at the former houses prosperity. The small fish pond was covered in a sickly green slime. Cobwebs covered every inch of the door, tiny black spiders threading towards their prey. The house was fit for the Kings and queens of the dead. The windows were open and softly banging against the walls with a Thump…Thump…Thump
The floor boards creaked at my weight, slightly moving. I held onto the hand rail but didn’t realize they were covered in a brown crusty dust. The door was left ajar, swinging gentle in the breeze. There was a purple stick on note pined to the door in Brits writing that was neat and of course...Purple.
Okay Brits not here her mum would be. She would be trying to attempt to finish that room. Yeah that’s were to go I thought as pushed the door open enough to fit through. I stood amazed at what I saw. The stairs we suspended half way in the air as though someone has sawed straight across them and just left the rest hanging dangerously, broken glass scattered everywhere and the floor was covered in dust. I slowly walked around the glass and into a small room which was much nicer than the one I was just in. It wasn’t as dust and had 3 medium sized cots aligned against the walls, small boxes of clothes and gear was stacked against the door. I realized this must be where they slept.
I heard the door open with a creek, and a red glow came through the room. My hand started to glow and pulse as well, I shoved it in my pocket and followed into another room which was where Mrs Fall would be painting, I could smell the paint and a strange copper smell. When I opened the door only a candle lit the room but even then I wasn’t prepared for what I would see next.
My hand flew to my mouth to stifle a scream. Mrs Fall was suspended in a silky white spider webs. Her eyes bludging out, mouth agape but worst of all her throat had been slit. Her pale pallor showed that she had been drained of her blood and left to rot here. I had realised I was walking towards her until I was close enough to her to smell the rotting flesh and coppery scent of blood. I heard a click and whirled around to see it. Red eyes, chest pulsing in time with my own glowing hand, mouth slightly open and panting small puffs of fog in the cold air. It stood there watching me waiting not making a move. The only sign it was alive was the sound of its breath.
Tears threatening to break through my eyes I did what I could I charge and jumped over it. Running for the door, it chasing behind me eight legs pounding the floor it was faster than me and reached me before I could reach the door. Its jaws gripped the back of my calf muscle and I fell to the ground hitting my head on something hard before blacking out. Images of red designs and spiders flashed through my mind until the cold black abyss took me under its wing.
