Name:
My name is Mysterium, though I'm called Myst by most. I was named that because when I was born, my mother thought my fur looked like it had been touched by faeries, since parts were glowing and all, and thought that there was something whimsical about me. Mysterium means mystical in latin, a language that I know very well.

Gender:
Why, I'm a female. I dunno, a male with my markings would be pitied by me, the poor chap. He'd probably get teased all the time...

Favorite Flower And Why:
My favorite flower is the wild pansy. No, it doesn't not have anything to do with looking like me or anything like that. Something about the way they always seem to come back after the coldest winters and how they can grow anywhere, I've even seen them on sheer granite cliffs up in the north. They're just so hardy, it reminds me I should try to be like that, bouncing back after every hit, Squirting juice in life's eye when it gives me lemons. Yeah, I know. My favorite flower should be something like a lily, something delicate. I may be nice and love nature, but that doesn't mean I can't kick you into next week.

(Speaking in reality, everything above is true. I am the daughter of a florist and spend a lot of time raising and categorizing flowers, and by far, the wild pansy is the toughest I've ever seen. I've been to and climbed Mt. Everest, Mt. Whitney, Mt. Shasta, and I've been to Iceland, and these little guys are everywhere, even if it's on the face of a 700 foot cliff. We don't use them in arrangements most of the time, and we're only supposed to have a small box of them, but they've overflown their box, grown into the tiniest slivers in the concrete, and have invaded other boxes. We constantly have to weed them out. They may not be the prettiest flower, though they are quite beautiful in my opinion, but dang, those things will survive the apocalypse even if we don't.)

Two Extras:
My personality is kind of odd. I consider myself somewhat gentle, at least most of the time, and I love wildlife, but I also love practicing combat and fighting strategies. It kind of gets your mind off of everything. I am responsible but can sometimes be a little impulsive and, I wouldn't say try to show off, but I try to show that I can do things as good as anyone else. I am quirky and consider myself smart, and I love playing with my foxfire, kind of poking it, sometimes just watching it dance in the moonlight at twilight some nights.

Another thing about me is I love poetry, even though I'm not very good at it.

The hills of the moor,
Beauty like the stuff of lore.
The endless green fields,
It's unknown what they can wield.
A roaring bear, lumbering this way,
We'd better not stay.
At least we got out of there in time,
This was a very bad example of a rhyme.

I try my best, ok? Anyways, I always base my poems on real things that happen. This was about one time when I was crossing a moor to go to the lake on the other side. It was amazing, but I wasn't watching where I was going and fell into a clump of heather where a bear was sleeping. I barely got out with my life. But afterwards I had a good laugh about it!

As much as i know this feeling, please remember this thread is for posting forms and asking for critique, even though the second should be taken to Pm. Please refrain from posting here unless one of those two things. Remember, there is a fanclub for the adoption excitement chatter.
