History/Background: 'I open my eyes and see the dark walls of the den, the smell of the earth filling my nose. In the far corner of the den is my mother and father. Carefully, I crawl out to meet up with my friends at the lake. By sunrise, all of us start trotting home before our parents wake up. Too late. At the entrance of the den stands none other than my father. I freeze with my ears flattened. "Uhm, hey dad. Nice weather we're having huh?" He has a look of disapproval on his face. I've never really been the son he wanted. Before he can say anything, my mother stands next to me with a friendly smile. " Good morning! Let's go help the others find breakfast" She gives my father a look before the three of us disappear deeper into the forest.
