Sí, sí. . . I've been working 'til eleven/eleven thirty every night for awhile. . . there is no way that Jørgen's backstory will be finished. Actually, Calixte's wasn't either; I "ended" it with a cliff-hanger. You're going for Void, right? C: Good luck! :3

Background : Born in a small American town, Josie grew up in a prim and proper family. Her mother and father wanted only a perfect family, and from a young age, Josie was punished for messy paws, tangled fur, and dirty noses. She was constantly belittled and bullied, until one day, she stopped talking. She hadn't forgotten how, she had just connected talking to punishments at a very young age. At first her parents were indifferent. Let her be silent they thought (and said) At least she's not making a fool of our family. They thought it would stop.
By the second month, they were slightly miffed. By the fourth, they were worried, more about their picturesque family than their daughter. By the eighth month they were threatening her, and after ten months of not speaking, they begged her to say something, anything! She decided that it was the end of her rebellious streak, and decided she would, once again, speak. She opened her mouth to say something, but she couldn't. She realized she had forgotten how to speak. When her family finally understood what had happened, they took her to the market, with a bag of her possessions, and told her to stay where she was. They then hurried off, and poor Josie waited for hours. It started to rain, and she hurried off, realizing what had happened. After few days of walking, she found my glade. She gets along well with Shay, but Truffles finds her too docile and shy. She often stares out the window, lost in thought, before composing sad (and slightly wistful) melodies and tunes on her keyboard.

2000 words is about 3 pages. You will know when you've written too much. xD (My 2000 word paper double spaced is about 6 pages.)
