Name: Koi

Will you make any use of the Cryst?: Of course- roleplaying, ordering art, drawing, answering fanclub
questions, etc. <3

Personality:
Stubborn - Koi is very stubborn and doesn't like to listen to other's advice. He always sticks with his
idea no matter how bad it seems or how obvious it is that the other choice is better. It is also very
hard to impress him, as well as getting him to compliment something or someone.

Ambitious - Koi is also very ambitious and loves to be the leader. He doesn't like following other's
orders and has a very big ego; because of this, he has a fear of failure and it is very hard to get him
to give up. Once Koi starts something, he will never stop until it is finished perfectly. He is the biggest
perfectionist you'll ever meet.

Curious/Adventurous - Since Koi was a little Crystinalian, he always loved to explore the area
around him and discover new things. Even though he is older now, nothing can stop him from
chasing a small speck of light down to find it's source. Whenever he isn't sleeping, he'll be wandering
through forests or fields.

Energetic - One second Koi is here and the next second he isn't. Even though Koi like to stick to one
spot to live in, it's very hard to catch him in one specific place for a long time. This is because it is very
hard for Koi to focus on one specific idea for a long time and his mind tends to wander more than think.

Playful - Koi loves to make boring situations more fun then they actually are. For an example, if he
were to go out to hunt one day- which is pretty boring in his point of view, he'll make a game out of it.
As in, 'if you catch a fish, that's 2 points. If you gather some berries, that's 3 points' and etc.
History:
- Early Childhood -->
----(0 years old - 12 years old)

--Koi was born into a large family where he was the youngest of three (3). At the age of two and a
half (2 1/2), his family abandoned him under a large willow tree. The reason still remains unknown
to Koi himself, but a few weeks after being left alone, another Crystinalian family found Koi and took
him in as their own child. They lived near a shallow waterfall, where he went exploring almost every
day and found his fear of water-since he couldn't swim.

- Teen Years -->
----(13 years old - 17 years old)

--Adventuring the area day after day, Koi started to realize that the food in the area was becoming
more scarce and they zhad less to eat. Koi left the family at the age of sixteen (16) because he felt
like a burden and he thought it was for the greater good. In the next year, Koi observed his surrou-
ndings and learned how to use his resources to hunt and search for food without trouble.

- Adult Years -->
----(18 years old - 24 years old)

--As Koi grew older and older, he became more independent and slowly began to lose his curious
personality. During Koi’s adult years he spent most of his time looking for food and shelter for the
cold or windy days to come. He’s only lived in one different place since he was a child because he
is too hesitant to go somewhere else.

- Present Day -->
----(25 years old - 26 years old)

--Koi's curiosity is still in him, although he spends most of his time sleeping in a small cave a little
bit off the center of a forest. Occasionally, Koi will be found wandering around the damp forest and
exploring unknown places for his own knowledge. At times, he will go to the dry, sandy areas and
make intricate designs in the sand, wondering if another Crystinalian will find it.
Likes and Dislikes:
Koi, obviously, loves to explore and will chase after any object if necessary. The only thing that gets
in his way is his laziness. As energetic as he can get, there's is always that issue. He dislikes strong,
thrashing loud rainstorms because it leaves his den a mess which means that he has to clean it up.

He also doesn't like loud and obnoxious creatures that make crazy sounds for no apparent reason.
An example would be a mouse- constantly scurrying around the rocky floors and squeaking non-
stop. Koi hates water, like most other Crystinalians, due to almost drowning at a young age.

Koi does have a love for berries though, so whenever he goes out to hunt, his top priority will be the
berries. He also purposely picked a home close enough to the berry area so it won't be a far walk to
get to them. He loves sunny and bright days, where he can go outside and explore in amazing weather.
Short Story:
"Ugh. I can't believe I'm doing this." I muttered to myself as I repeatedly walked up and down the
small dirt path while glancing back behind me just in case anyone happened to be following.

Earlier today, just a few minutes after waking up inside my cozy den, I spotted something shiny
that was giving off bright sparks of light. At first, thinking that it was my imagination, I ignored it,
but after some time of reconsideration, I couldn't let an opportunity like this just slip away- right?
Like, what if it was a valuable object? Or some strange bag of food? Oh! Or even better, something
that could last me the whole winter!

Without a second thought, I lifted my lazy self off the ground and headed towards the object's shine.

At first, I had thought it would've been a great idea to go after this thing, but the more steps I took,
the farther away it seemed to get. I walked through marsh after marsh, forest after forest, and around
the rims of ponds after pond. I couldn't possibly walk around one of those.. but I was wrong.

"Currently, I am standing right at the river bank of a very long body of water." I announced to myself
out loud, even though no one was here to hear me. "I have just come from a small path and not
expected this. And, the object that I was looking forward to find is no longer at its original post-
meaning that I just wasted all this time looking for nothing."

Growling to myself for being so stupid, I started to turn back to where I came from when another flash
of light was aimed straight for my eye. Whirling around as fast as I could, I searched the area for any
signs of movement. None.

"Hello?" I called out. "Is anybody out here?"

I thought about the situation for a moment and decided to do something smart for once. I turned to
my original path and started to walk, acting like nothing happened. Slowly getting closer to the area
the light came from. Setting my paws on the ground as softly as I could, I quickly rushed through the
bush and pounced on whatever was there.

"Ha! Gotcha!" I said happily as I realized I was on top of the shiny object. Curious, I lifted it up to my
face see what was the cause of the shining. I imagined some small, mouse-like creature running with
it attached to its tail or something, but instead, all I saw were whirling gears and a small button near
it's base. Shocked, I took a few step back.

I dropped the strange object as soon as I noticed it was a human thing and turned, running back to
my den as fast as possible.

After some time of continuously running, I finally reached my destination and collapsed on the base
of the dark boulder's hole- knowing that I wouldn't be chasing after a shiny object anytime soon.

Will you make any use of the Cryst?: Yes, I will use Moon as a character and develop her personality and history. I will also cherish her I will use Moon in RPs and write stories about her. She will be loved, extraordinarily so!
Personality: Moon is quiet and sweet--or so most Crystinalians think. She is actually quite fierce. Moon is usually underestimated because of her sometimes plain-looking appearance (at least compared to other Crysts), but she can match and even surpass most of them in passion and intelligence. She is kind to those whom she likes, and can be quiet around strangers, but if one gets to know her she is extremely clever and witty, as well as never being afraid to stand up for herself and her friends.
History: When Moon was a young Cryst, she was very close to both of her parents. Moon was an only child, but rarely ever felt the loss of siblings or others her age to talk to. As she grew up, Moon grew more and more independent, venturing out and spending much of her time observing the plants and other animals that lived near them. She started to ask more questions of her parents, digging for more information about their world and species, and the other species that they interacted with.
At this point in young Moon's life, she started to notice the humans that would occasionally be seen. All through her newborn stage, and through the first half of her cub stage, Moon had been of the impression that Crystinalians were invincible, that they were basically at the top of the food chain. She was curious about these "humans" that her friends and family ran away from, wondering what was so terrifying. When the Cryst was nearing one and a half years, she happened upon the reason.
Moon had interacted with the other cubs her age that lived close by, of course, and as such knew them all as at least acquaintances. One day, Moon and the other cubs noticed a human structure a little ways away. Most of them were curious, the scared ones hurrying home to warn their parents, curious enough to want a closer look. So, making sure to heed the warnings of a three-year-old Cryst that they were friendly with to be extra careful, the small group headed over. Moon and two others were the boldest of the cubs, approaching close enough to see the details of the things the humans were wearing as they milled around the structure. At this point, one of the nastier--although none of the cubs were really that nasty--Crysts dared another to go even closer.
Of course, who could refuse such a dare?
The Cryst in question crept even closer, dangerously close as Moon quickly realized. She didn't want to say anything, for fear of drawing the humans' attentions to them, but she tried to signal the Cryst to come back. Of course, she didn't. Instead, she got even closer.
Soon, a dire mistake was made. One of the Crysts--nobody remembers who--accidentally rubbed his crystal on a tree, causing the bark to split with a sharp noise. The humans that were close by looked up, to investigate the noise...and saw a small group of soft-furred, young, wide-eyed, Crystinalians.
And one Crystinalian that was very close by.
Needless to say, the rest of the cubs were lucky to escape, although the poor one who dared to venture nearer was never heard nor seen again.
