Also, what should I use to make squirrels now that I am a guest artist? Is there a lineart or do I just use a standard one? I have tons of questions.
1. Do I need to get a lineart or something?
2. What do I make them with? The CS thing?
3. I am on iPad, so do I need to get on my computer to properly make transparent and such?
4. I know of one animation thingy, but it's hard to code it when I animate it on there.
1. Linearts can be found on page one, last post. To get the lineart, pick a breed and
right click on the image there (Chickens and Owls cannot be used). Left click, or select, 'Copy Image UR', 'Copy' or 'Copy Image Location', what ever one shows up.
2. You make Squirrels on either a Paint App for your computer, or on the free one *MS Paint* that comes with it. If you are using MS Paint, to get the lineart on it, click the 'Paste' bottom in the top left corner. If you did it correctly, the lineart should come up. (To bring up MS Paint, find the search on your computer and look up 'paint'. Once it comes up, just click it and the app will open.)
3. I am not sure, as I have never used an iPad before. But, I can show you how to make things transparent when using a computer. First, go to
Ezimba and click the 'Click to Load Image'. If you saved your Squirrel when you finished, type the name and select it. If you didn't save it, I would suggest going back and doing so. Once the Squirrel is selected, it will bring you back to the main page. There's a spot where it has 'Create Layer Transparent', not all right next to each other, but above and besides. Click the 'Transparent' button and select the background of the Squirrel. Once it's selected, click 'Convert' and copy the image ('Copy Image UR', 'Copy' or 'Copy Image Location'). Make sure the background is a different color than the ones on the squirrel; if you used white on the Squirrel, change the background to orange, etc. If the background is the same color as the one on the Squirrel, they will both become transparent. Once you copied the image, you can go to
TinyPic to upload it. (To upload, click URL then paste the code in the box. Select 'Avatar' size then 'Upload Now!'. If a code pops up, answer it and it will bring you to the uploaded image. If no code pops up, it will bring you straight there.)
4. You can also used Ezimba to animate things, but it hasn't been working for me lately and I'm not sure if it's just like that for everyone. You will have to talk with someone more familiar with animation than me. :c
I hope that helped! There are many other ways to upload things and make things transparent, this is just how I do it. If you have any questions, please PM me or post them on our Fan Page. c:
