I left the Pokemon Center and looked around. I needed a place to stay overnight. I walked the streets thinking about the battle that I had with Li and the Chikorita. It was my fist battle ever and I was sick and worried about my poor little Swiver.

Entering the pink building, you see the girl is already at the desk. Though when she see's Splash, her eyes light up and she gathers her from you. "Oh, I'm sorry Splash. I won't forget you next time." She said, turning to the lady, filling out the registration sheet. "Oh yes, I have Splash, my Squirtle. And uh, my Murkrow, here is his pokeball." She said, handing the worker the pokeballs of the two pokemon. The women took them and then turned to you. "This is where you can register for contests, get a contest card and ribbon case, and get a gym badge case. Are you a contest of gym person? Cause this is where you come for gym badge cases if that suites you."

Nurse Joy comes out of her office, Swiver and Narron on her arms. She sets them down her desk ,looking around. "Hmm..Maybe she'll pick him up later.."

I stare at every thing the worker hands me. "Thanks!!" I say cheerfully. My heart beats as I take every thing and stare at Flip-Flop. "Ready to start our adventure, buddy?" Flip-Flop's eyes glow with excitement. I begin to think about every thing me and my new buddy with go through. I couldnt wait. Once I have Flip-Flop in his pokeball I walk out of the lab.

Kuro glanced up at the tree's blinked, "Whats that" she muttered taking some steps foreward, looking around the tree and up at it "Pyro can you have a looksy?" she asked him, he nods and steps foreward, he starts to climb.

I walked forward then bent down and petted the small Caterpie, "Oh, you're so cuts, and so little too." It was true, the Pokemon did look young. I stood up and while shielding my eyes from the sun I looked up through all the treetop then asked it, "Did you fall from your tree maybe?"

"Oh..." That was a great way to look like you didn't know anything, was it, asking obvious questions? "Thanks. Sorry, I just... um... yeah. You can tell I'm a newbie." But at least I knew now what to expect. As we came up toward the Pokemon center, I found myself heading forward a little faster, rounding toward those doors I never really had a reason to enter before. Going through them was a little like stepping into another word... a world I suddenly had a lot more reason to be a part of. "Thanks again... really."

[rem sleep]

I smiled and hugged Kasai, I hoped silently to myself that no one would notice the emblem on my shirt and kick me out again. I waited silently for the man to return.

I woke with a start. "Wow, hi Narron, did you wake me up? Where am I? Oh, that's right, I'm at the Pokemon Center, whoops, must have fallen asleep on the seat, waiting for you. Are you ready to go now Narron" As we walked out the door of the Center, we saw a small store. "Hey, let's go in there Narron, I'm sure we can buy something useful in there."
