I'm torn now, who knows what will happen. ;; I just don't feel like I can keep the archives myself, though if people lose their owned SRs they could ask me and I could find them for them. (as long as it doesn't happen too often)

If people cant find their adopts they can search in the topic, their username they had at the time or still have, and it will bring up any posts with that name, including code drops (where you have listed their name as the person who won/got the rabbit). That way they can find all of their adopts. It also takes less stress off of you keeping a huge long archive.

I just realized I haven't posted my opinion on it yet. I'd definitely be in favor of you stopping the archives. Because if it is dragging you down then why continue? It's not that hard to keep track of your bunnies yourself, either by storing them somewhere yourself, or then just searching for the codedrops. If people can't even do that much, then why should you have to bother with everyones, especially when you're doing so much work with the rabbits already! Besides who doesn't want to see more litters?

Its not your job to archive them. if its bothering you then don't do it. we can find them and keep track if you want or you can get someone else to archive

This here is the method to go.
If people don't have time to keep track of their adopts they are able to just search their username(s). I've done this many times because I never kept track of my own adopts until a few months ago, and I've been here a couple years.

of course, you can always keep a booklet for every time you get a new adopt. Leave it near your computer and every time you adopt one write the adopt name and pg number, making it super easy to find.

Also, a joint archive thread would be great. That almost always works well for popular adopts because all the adopts (Depending on who posts) are in the same spot, allowing for trading to be a lot easier. Leaving a simple code that beginners can use is also a great idea.

And also, if people don't already have one, they should make a thread where they store all their adoptables. Having it sorted per adoptable comes in handy with table of contents. It's kind of a pain to set up, but worth it in the long run when you have all your adoptables in one plays.

That's just a couple options for people, so that Snow doesn't need to take time out of their day to keep track of other people's adopts.

Also, a way for new people to get bunnies, is for the community to help out. Maybe a thread that is for new people to come to to get their first bunny, so they have something. As much as I'd love to run something like that, I'm swamped by homework this year and probably wouldn't be able to.

Ah, thank you everyone for the wonderful input! I'm honestly surprised that so many of you have commented and you're for it! The poll is in favor of keeping the archives, but I can't really keep on doing this myself so I suppose I'll get to making a proper bank thread and a co-op archive once I feel up to it. ;v; I will keep the old archives thread just in case someone needs it for any reason.

As for now, there's a new litter! I've made a Spring-themed litter and a Summer-themed litter during their respective months, both having 5 bunnies each. Now it's time for an Autumn one! It's a nice little tradition that will probably end with the next Winter (there's only so many seasonal designs I can think of).


I'd love to make some kind of a tradition with a certain type of SRs at certain times (like spooky litters during October), but keeping a thread running for years isn't really something I'd manage. There's just not going to be enough time in the future. ;v;
