Personality: Apollonia seemingly has a cold exterior, but once you get to know her, she will treat you with kindness and respect, granted you treat her that way too. She is very loyal to her friends, and will fight tooth and claw to defend them. She is generally a quiet creature, and she will willingly share her feelings with you, if you are willing to hear them, and not offend them in any way. She is very helpful, and believes strongly that everyone has some good inside them, no one is all bad.

Background:
Apollonia was born in a secluded corner of an old neighborhood somewhere in the middle of nowhere. She was scrawny and small, but her mother did everything that she could to keep her alive. When her mother was shot down by a hunter, Apollonia ran into the woods and lived in a cave. She had a bad reputation, and everyone stayed away from that woods, horrified by the tramping sounds coming from the woods. They advised everyone to stay away, because they believed that Apollonia was a horrible killer. A young baby wandered into the woods one day, and Apollonia found it. She took it with her to her small cave, and nursed it until it was strong enough to go back. The villagers of the town where she was born realized that she was not such a bad creature after all, she was simply grieving for her lost mother. They thanked Apollonia for saving the child and offered her a house in their village, but she much preferred the forest. She lived there, keeping the "evil spirits" away from the small town, and keeping the town safe.
Apollonia eventually wandered away from the woods and walked into more inhabited areas. Most villagers were scared, but some realized that she was no threat. In one village, up in the mountains, she discovered a young girl who had a deep connection with animals. Apollonia nearly gave up then. She knew this girl was not right for her, yet she was so tired, she almost stayed. But the girl told her that hope is always around the corner, and that you should never give up on your dreams. Apollonia realized then what she needed to do. She rested, getting her strength up, learning more about her kind, the Smili, and for that matter, more about herself. She bade farewell to the girl and travelled farther up the mountain to see if her destiny, the person she was meant to be with, was there. But the top of the mountain was deserted. She wandered through towns and cities to see if she could find someone who has the patience and love to take care of her, to be her lifelong partner. She still has not found anyone. Her wisdom is growing, giving her strength, and the belief that someone is there for her. Her patience grows still, and her love for those who trust her as well. Apollonia will never give up, she will find a partner if it is the last thing she does.
