Hey all, due to Slates internet adapter really hating him, for no reason it stopped working with his computer. Since he is the one with all the images of the easter ikplets and has no internet, we decided to extend the end date of the easter batch till April 5th. Hopefully by then he has his new adapter....

║ Personality: Nali and Fallon both share a creative spirit... and that's about all. Fallon is the dreamer, prone to rambles and daydreaming and glazed eyes, and she believes in 'art from the heart'- no planning, no pencil lines, no sketches. Just the piece of art, without any drafts. Sometimes she'll start talking, and halfway through her sentence she'll be inspired and immediately drop everything to paint or draw or sculpt or whatever she feels like at the time.
Nali, on the other hand, is a complete perfectionist. If that line isn't totally straight, if she can see any minuscule white spaces on the canvas, she'll have a total stress meltdown- which just makes her more wired up. You can tell Nali and Fallon's art apart just by looking- Nali's will be precise, not a color out of line, only blending if she has to, and Fallon's will be all over the place, like a Jackson Pollock. However, the best art is made when they work together- the perfect blend of precision and soul, although it may take a while for them to agree on something. A long while.
Theme songs:
║ Fallon: Good to be Alive by Meghan Trainor. Firstly, she totally LOVED the Peanuts movie. (Nali thought it was cliche and anticlimactic, of course) But more importantly, the message this song conveys is Fallon's overall view on... well, everything.

In the moment indeed! Actually, the title says it all: it's good to be alive.
║ Nali: Gold Dust by Galantis. Nali believes that songs should be about the music, with simpler lyrics, and that's what this is. The word 'gold' is probably why she listened to it in the first place; gold IS the perfect metal after all. Nali thinks it represents the bond between her and Fallon perfectly (if it wasn't perfect, she would never have chosen it):

Fallon is the gold dust- the impulsive, glittering part- and Nali is.. is the 'me'- the solid part, the idea, the brains, whatever. Nali could go on and on so much about how perfect it is, you'd probably fall asleep. And then get bitten.
