Are customs able to breed with adopted deer?

Yes, custom deer are able to breed with free adopted deer, but special deer are only able to breed with special deer to keep their lines straight.

When there's a deer in the adoptables section you write a story to convince me and the deer why she should stay with you.

"Theres nothing we can do" those words are ones I remember well with anything but fondness.
My whole village was under quarantine, a few strangers had arrived the other week and the day after their arrival odd things began to happen. People went to go missing only to turn up the next morning dazed and flighty, teens who went ot the local cities for clubbing and stuff started acting very very strangely.

I was one of the first to be bitten, I thought nothing of my bite wound until I noticed that it had gotten much worse instead of healing, the doctor merely gave me some antibiotics and sent me on my way. I took them but the bite wound steadily got worse and worse and I began to notice odd changes, first it was my eyes; what were once bright sapphire now were stunning pools of chocolate brown. Then my hair slowly began to turn a deep shade of purple starting with ends and working up to the roots, I went back to the doctor and he called in some some higher up doctors and a few scientists.

They did tests trying to see what was making my colours change, things like picking off a few loose hairs from my shirt werent so bad and wanting skin samples wasnt awful. When they started taking blood I began to protest but could never fight off the people that were assigned to hold me down, the day they finally found out what was going on. Was the worst day of my life, "ah Celenia you came" the ginger haired female scientist said her expression told me nothing; "the bite seems to be altering your very DNA theres nothing we can do" the dark haired male said softly.

I sank to my knees at that moment I guess the so called sparkle I had left my eyes at least thats what a good friend told me, I had never seen any sort of sparkle in my eyes. "So whats going to happen to me now?" I asked bitterly, nobody answered and just looked at me with pity. "Stop looking at me like you bunch of jumped up smart ***** and tell me what is going on" I snarled; "well anyone with a bite like yours is slowly transforming. The dormant animal DNA in the cells is taking over and human cells are being put into storage if a cure isnt found soon the human DNA in every infected person will be eradicated" a fair haired female said.

One of them handed me a piece of paper explaining that once the human DNA had been fully swapped with then the infected person would transform into whatever animal their personality suited best. For me they were thinking either deer or wolf, someone else had already fully changed, she was a beautiful dark grey blue coated doe with acid green markings. My transformation was slow and painful first to change after eye and hair colour, was the length of my hair it grew down to my ankles then slowly covered my whole body. Until I had my very own fur coat. The wierdest and most painful thing was to see my feet slowly shrink until they were small and round and that ment all the bones breaking and reshaping themselves; the scary part was seeing my toes just fall off I fainted at that point.

When I awoke I no longer walked on two feet rather two dainty black hooves, "great the predator types are going to want to eat me once their done" I drawled sarcasticly; experimently running my fingers over my fur coat. Some of the changes happend over night like my ears moved to the top of my head and I now had the enjoyment of people wanting to rub my new deer ones. I did enjoy watching my ears in the mirror as I flicked them this way and that listening to things; I could never hear before my hearing had improved drastically. The last changes knocked me clean out with the amount of pain when I awoke I was no longer the deer/human hybrid I had been for a long time, no. I was fully deer now.

I wanted to cry so badly but I dont think I could cry anymore. No tearducts you know? I was taken to the lab where the other doe was held, there was something new about her and I dont men the slytherin scarf she wore round her neck. No something in my new instincts was showing me this doe was the only friend I had in the world who could understand the pain of leaving a human life behind. "Gosh hun, I'm really sorry that you got turned into a prey animal" she said and gently nuzzled my face trying her best to ease my sorrow.

Dusk. the perfect time for eating. Humans gone back to their hotels, bears hungrey for their supplies, all is quiet exept the roaring of Bridelviel Falls in the distance. I was hungrey. i got up from my sleeping place in the woods and trotted over to the meadow. the grass was sweet, tangy and flavorful. The rest of my herd soon joined me. some late tourists came around, using their flash-boxes. i wasnt afraid. all flash-boxes did was capture your image. not your soul, like some thought.

I saw my friend eating from cowslip. cowslips are delicous. "May i have some?" i asked her. she nodded and stepped aside, still chewing. MMMM. Cowslips are amazing. sweet, but sour, smooth, and cool, dewy, juicy, amazing. I pricked my ears. a human, a fermilur human, Ranger. "BLah,blah,blah,blah,blah,blah,deer,blah" yup. they speak almost total nonsence.

I snorted and walked up to her. usually she had an apple, or a carrot for me. today she made a warbling sound and patted my head. "No, no, num-nums." well shoot. i walked back over to the meadow and started a game of chase with my friend. she was fast. our buck bellowed. a bear. it was okay, the bear was with two very young cubs. the cubs where probably following her to her hibernating den. she and her cubs where plump with hibernating fat.

I sighed. the bright sun set down in the west, and showered us with an array of colors. i always looked like the sunset. not to brag, but my coat is very beautiful. Its a lovly deep maroon with the joints being orange, and my lower legs a soft yellow. I look like the sunset for which i was named.

It was so boring here. i needed exitement.
