Link to character thread (so I can see how well you take care of your other characters):
viewtopic.php?f=10&t=169578Personality: Rai is silent and clever, he's often off by himself, thinking about his path or his destiny. Rai wants to go on a journey when he's older to find himself. It's difficult to crack Rai's shell, but once you do, you'll find he's a rather kind and friendly Parduseros. Though, he comes off as uncaring.
500 word min, 1500 word max story OR a drawing that depicts their personality(You may also do both.):
Rai lay curled up in the soft curve of his mother's belly, her soft fur cushioning his head. The grass underneath of him was rather rough and dry, but springy, making a good cushion. Rai's head flew up as he heard a clap of thunder.
"Do not worry, it is just the gods, they are blessing us with rain." Rai's mother would tell him every time there was a thunderstorm. He would listen to her and simply fall back to sleep, but this time, it was different. A bolt of lightning, a blast of pure, unbridled energy shot from the sky. His mother leaped to her feet and grabbed Rai by the scruff as flames burst from the grass. Rai's throat was tight with fear, he couldn't even scream. Taking off, his muscular mother began to bound away from the danger, but where was there to hide? These golden plains held nothing but a few rocks and trees, other than that, it was open. A bolt of lightning stuck the tree that they had been rushing past, knocking it over. It fell on his mother and Rai flew out of her jaws, tumbling painfully across the grass. She roared in pain, trying to claw her way out from under the burning tree. The unmistakable scent of burning fur filled Rai's nose.
"MOMMA!" he screamed, beginning to rush towards her, but she lashed out a paw. Taken aback, Rai's eyes filled with tears and he scrambled away.
"Go!" she shouted, still writhing underneath of the tree. "RUN, RAI!" she roared at him. Though, it was too late, a rush of lightning struck the ground right in front of him. It singed his nose and front legs, Rai turned tail and ran. His legs and face charred by the lightning, he knew he couldn't run much longer. A large rock came into view. Dashing forward, he squeezed his small, limber body underneath it and lay trembling, waiting for the storm to pass. A thought struck him, he had just left his mother to die. Beginning to sob, Rai clasped his tiny paws over his head and cried like he had never cried before. Eventually, he fell asleep, awaking to a bright, sunny day the next morning. It was as if that dreadful storm had never happened. Slinking out from under the rock, he stood in the sunlight and began to growl. "WHY?" he cried at the sky, tears streaming down his face, "WHY ME?" Suddenly, a shadow washed over him and he turned with a gasp. A large figure stood over him, though not intimidatingly. "You seem alone." the deep voice spoke, the larger parduseros's features unreadable in the blazing sun. "Come, I will show you the way." it said, and without another word, began to stalk away. Rai's mouth hung open, he stood there dumbfounded for a moment.
What do I do? Rai thought,
I guess I have no where else to go... Rai thought, his ears drooping and his heart dropping. Quickly, he scampered after the other parduseros, kicking up dry dust in the process.

((I'm going to adopt another adult plains Parduseros and continue the story eventually if I win. ;D))
