Nevorath Heights- Dragon Adopts- Mini Batch Up!

Ledra....

Beautiful wings,as silver as can be,and blue as the sky,and as black as the night..

Some say that seeing is believing..some say that believing is seeing,for I don't know what path to follow,nor do I know what will lay ahead the next day..,or what would happen in a week..

Ledra..Some had spoken of her,and I must find out..I just had to.for it was apart of me.I was never skilled in flying,but I needed a flying companion to come with me,and be close to me,and protect me as I will it.I have come from a far away place,of the unimaginable..People know not of who I am,for I wander the alley ways,the streets,and the cities,unnoticed looking for the perfect companion to be by my side,and forever will be.

As I traveled down a dusty rocky road,or path,I watched the sky,as it was starting to fill with dragons,many kinds many colors.As I neared closer,to a cave is saw the bleak figure,possibly an apparition of a red dragon,who I would soon meet,but as I looked on the opposite direction....Ledra has appeared.Her scales,where shining,her horns glowing,and most of all that I loved about this dragon,was the eye.The wonderful eye marking,that was placed right on her leg,nothing of the sort that I had seen before.As I neared closer,I noticed that the poor beautiful dragon wasn't getting as much attention as the other dragon was,but I knew she was the one.I panned closer,bowed and looked eye to eye with her,then I began."I have come from a far place,seeking the right companion..Let me tell you a bit about myself,dear Ledra.I have come from a far,traveled day and night,trying to find you,the very wonderful and powerful."I smiled,then glanced at the other dragon getting much more attention."I don't see why a dragon,that's nothing equal to you is getting more attention,for I have come to talk to you,not him."I admitted."That eye..Your marking is magnificent,never had I seen something like it before.Your wings sparkle,and your as blue as the sky,and as black as the night."I began looking at the black on her."I would never go to another dragon,but you,for your the most wonderful,and I am sure powerful.How your wings glide easily on the air,and as you blend in with the sky."I smiled,and bowed once more."Will you be my flight [i]companion?"I asked.[/i]

Ahrax considered the choices made to him carefully. Both offered a life of privilege, but both also required work. Ahrax grumbled slightly- work was beneath him. Still, Trinity's offer only required a service once while the girl's would be an ongoing job. Little consideration was given to the people themselves, besides the idea that the girl would be lighter to carry. Ahrax paused for a moment considering, but the girl would grow and the job was not a glorious one, not for the likes of him. Ahrax stood, his head high above the people who had come to him. He found Trinity in a dark corner of the cave and approached her. I have chosen you to be my bonded. His head dropped until their eyes were level, their faces only a foot apart. Do not move He felt within himself for a strand of connection to the chosen in front of him. Then he focused on it, feeling as the edge of their thoughts grew closer. It is done Ahrax could feel the shadow of her thoughts moving beside his. Where he had originally not cared for his mission, it now seemed of the upmost in importance. His motivation was still ambition, his goal still worship, but now he was influenced by all that Trinity saw and felt. He looked upon his bonded, a faint glow of fondness warming his gaze slightly. He waited for her command.

I loved both the stories, and thought they were both wonderful. (Artemis Fowl is beast) but I felt that Forsaken connected better with Ahrax's dark nature. Have fun slaying your enemies with him Forsaken!
