The new vortex had been silent, but it sputtered a bit and began to dance soon after the newcomers arrived. It swirled and twisted, showing off a rampant display, almost as if it too was celebrating the move of Ahzen. As it swirled, a rich shade of brown began to fill in, almost like the color of hot cocoa. Soon, thin streaks of lighter, orange-brown snaked into the soil-brown color, curling and coiling in the swirl. The vortex flashed copper once, then an Ahzenai leaped extravagantly from the twister. Her fur was dark brown with elegant swirls of copper in them. She has moose-like, curled horns and shining, wild eyes. As the vortex began to settle, the Ahzenai grew hyper, all of her senses on overload.
The new ahzenai's fur was fluffed out, her copper eyes shooting from person to person, from ahzenai to ahzenai. She noticed she was surrounded by water and crouched down defensively, her tail curled around her feet. Glancing up, she noticed Valcyon. He gave her a rather sympathetic look and indicated to the path that led up to the vortex. Jumping to her paws, she rocketed down the stretch, kicking up a trail of sand behind her. Nearly running into a person, she skidded to a terrified halt and looked around at all of the people. Her heart hammered in her chest, her element swirling nervously above her back. Lashing her tail, she looked for an escape. The ahzenai noticed a tree nearby and clambered up it, with squirrel-like grace. Huddling on one of the branches, her eyes surveyed the area around her like a watchful lion. She didn't know what was going on or where she was.
"Aresann!" Valcyon called, a hint of sympathy in his voice.
Aresann curled her bushy tail around the branch and allowed her muzzle to rest on the rough bark, a copper eye focused watchfully on the crowd. Aresann was rather feral, but she had a good heart. She needed someone who would be patient with her as she learned the ways of society, but also who had a lot of tenacity to put up with her boundless energy. This ahzenai was well-adapted to the outdoors, so she would not put up with being stuck inside.
"Me no... know..." Aresann began awkwardly, "What do... but hope... some creature help." she spoke in broken English.
Note: Aresann cannot speak in full english. :B

Silver was back in Ahzen and Solaris and Zeoryler were with her, along with a new comer; her brother. Chase was new to Ahzen and at first he didn't want to come, but of course his sister would have none of that and dragged him to the place without talking to him about it first. To make things worse she had decided to bring him on the day where they switched into a new part of Ahzen, marking the beginning of the 'matter' cycle as Chase had heard. The huge Ahzenai named Valcyon had lead them into this part, and now as they waited Chase didn't know if letting his sister drag him here was such a good idea. Nothing was happening and he was starting to feel edgy with all these people around with there companions.
Although he was patient, now was not one of the good times for him. He hated being around so many people, much like his sister but he was worse. It made him feel edgy and he tended to pace a lot; which was what he was doing now. Walking back and forth behind Silver and Zeoryler while Solaris watched him tired trying to figure out how many more times Chase would pace. But soon the vortex started to whirl indicating a Ahzenai was about to come out and Silver stood up from where she was sitting on a tree branch. She looked over her shoulder at Chase who was still pacing and she smiled "An Ahzenai is about to come out." Chase looked at her confused then fallowed her eyes to the vortex that was swirling quickly and then flashed a light copper color and then something spectacular happened that he had never seen before.
A beautiful brown creature looking quite a lot like Zeoryler and Solaris jumped extravagantly out of the vortex. Chase looked at her curiously and he noticed the beautiful swirls the color of copper on her dark brown fur. She seemed to have floating matter above her back and Chase looked at Zeoryler sitting down beside Silver; he had the same type of element on his back as well. This was all quite new to Chase so he stood back and just watched as other people around him seemed to get excited and move a little closer to the female. He noticed however that the female didn't look to happy to be seemingly surrounded by people, and she looked a little frightened of everyone. He knew how that felt to a point. He was always the one who got bullied at school when he was young and when he moved to France, he was the frightened kid that didn't know the language and didn't know what most people were saying to him. Half the time the kids would insult him in their language and he didn't know what they said. It was pretty horrible for him.
Chase watched as she ran down the stretch of land that lead to where they were and then as she almost ran into someone she stopped dead, then seemed to decided to run up a tree. To him she seemed like a squirrel more than a graceful cat leaping up a tree and that made him smile to himself. Soon he heard Valcyon's voice boom over everyone.
"Aresann!" Valcyon called, seeming to have a hint of sympathy in his voice for this beautiful female.
Chase watched as Aresann looked around the crowds of people and then finally after a while spoke in broken English and a pang of sympathy ran through him. That was what it was like for him when he moved to France and had to speak a totally new language; he had picked up a little and tended to speak in broken french like this female could speak broken English. Silver turned to her brother and smiled at him "She seems a lot like you. Boundless energy and the way you were in France makes you have a bigger connection to her...maybe you should try to woo her instead of me. It would be a good learning experience for you" she said calmly and Chase stared at her.
He had no idea what he was doing when it came to 'wooing' an Ahzenai and that made him slightly nervous but he nodded and sighed stepping forward and around a lot of the people lining up and talking to each other about the pretty female. The funny thing was that Aresann had no idea how to do this and neither did he, and Silver sat back down which made it perfectly clear to him that he would be doing this all on his own. So as he walked he held his head up a little and when he finally made it past everyone and stopped in front of the female he gave her a small smile and bowed his head to her for a moment before raising it and looking at her. She looked so much more different up close than she did from far away.
Chase didn't know what to say at first but then he settled on first saying his name; "Hello Aresann, I'm Chase..and the funny thing is that this is my first time here as well, and I have no idea what i'm doing, so i'm going to be winging this a little." He figured that was a good enough start, and as he turned out all the people around him he got more comfortable with being in the center with the female. "I can tell you don't know much English...I was in the same boat once. See I moved to a new country and I had to start to speak a different language and I was always the outcast for a while. But then I got some help from my friends that I made and I got better at it" he said slowly trying to think of what to say. Chase really didn't want to look like a fool in front of this Ahzenai but he was patient with himself so he just took things slowly. "I don't know anything about Ahzenai, and I was thinking that...if you chose to travel with me I could teach you about my world and teach you the language and you could teach me a little about this place" He said confidently as he looked up at Aresann. He was running out of things to say but then he remember what Silver had said about this girl seeming to be hyper.
"I can tell you have a lot of energy, and so do I which means you would get out a lot and you wouldn't be stuck inside. I actually hate being inside myself and when I can get out of the house its better for me as well as it would probably be better for you as well huh?" Chase was winging it now and running out of anything logical to say so instead he took a step back from the female and smiled again. "I don't really know what else to say so ill leave you with that. Just know that if you do chose me ill definitely make a point to teach you about all we have in our world..no matter how long it takes." With that Chase gave her an extravagant bow and smiled brightly at her before returning to Silver who looked at him and smiled "How did it go? It was kinda short..." she said quietly and Chase shrugged "I think I did alright..but i'm not much of a good talker like that" he laughed. "Now we wait" Silver said slowly and Chase smiled "I have enough patience for this" he said happily before finally sitting down beside Silver.
