Chanarie leads you to a clearing within the Oak Forest. You don't see any prey, so why would she lead you here? As you turn to leave you step on something- a vole mound. Of course, she wanted to go digging. You sigh and search your inventory for a small shovel.
You shake your head at Chanarie, amused but also exasperated by her antics.
"You know, if you want to go digging, you could have just said so," you chide her as you pull the shovel out.
Chanarie lets out a satisfied chirp as you begin digging into the vole mound. She is clearly very pleased with herself for leading you to this spot.
As you dig into the vole mound, a flurry of movement catches your eye. A couple of voles dart out, trying to escape the disturbance.
Chanarie immediately springs into action, her reflexes lightning-fast. She pounces on the first vole with uncanny speed, securing her prey in her sharp beak.
Unfortunately the second vole gets away, running deep into the brush. Chanarie drops the dead vole at your feet. She seems very proud of her catch.

Beze hisses in warning as you reached your hand out, his fur standing on end and his tail whipping wildly. His normally wide, innocent eyes narrowed with a mix of fear and caution.
You hold out the non-venomous sand scorpion in your hand, slowly presenting it to him. Beze eyes the scorpion curiously, his fear slowly dissipating at the sight of the juicy meal.
With a tentative flick of his forked tongue, he begins to circle the scorpion. He seems intrigued but still a little wary.
Beze continues to cautiously circle the scorpion, his tongue flickering intently as he considers the tasty meal. His eyes dart from the scorpion up to you and back again, as if trying to gauge your intentions.
With a low, guttural noise, he lowers his head and strikes at the scorpion, quickly snatching it up in his jaws. His swallow is swift and almost graceful, and soon the scorpion is swallowed whole.
Beze lets out a satisfied hiss, his fur and tail lowering back to normal. He seems to have accepted the offering and trusts your intentions, even if it was reluctant.
