Here is my entry! I had a lot of fun making these but I have to admit so many of the other entries look so good!!! I knew the competition was going to be stiff but I'm still blown away by all of your creativity! I wish everyone the best of luck :> I'm confident we'll welcome some great new talent to the CS team

So I'm curious, did anyone else make a design, decide it was awful and scrap it like 6 times?

Definitely-- I had originally tried working with the 4th pallete just to scrap it and try a different one. I considered doing an extra example image sort of thing where I just went all out since I kept worrying about gradients for the main image (so I just avoided them xD;; )
Who knows-- maybe the additional images I provided of original art helps

I look forward either way to see who the new artists will be because gosh golly there are so many pretty entries on both pets and items!

oh dear, I didnt realize we could color the linework. is it too late to change it??????? that'll probably cost me the entire application.

I actually did two of each color scheme and then had to narrow it down from there.
Though this isn't the one I chose as my official entry, here's one of the one's for Color Set 4----the colors reminded me of lava lamps and since I thought they were llamas, I thought it was funny.

And I found the item sets so much fun that I ended up making four full sets...though I never did do the "out side the box" set where the tail was cattails, the wings were airplane wings, the dress was salad dressing, etc.

Some of these designs are absolutely gorgeous <3 I'm still working on the creativity part of drawing, but these were very fun to do!
