I've been getting a number of inquiries about artists.
While I'm not actively looking for artists right now,
here is some information about what I'll be looking for.

The art program I use to create Stuffalynns is PaintTool SAI.
If you are interested in being an artist, you will need to be able to:

1) Open either a SAI or PSD file
2) Be able to open folders that contain layers within a SAI/PSD file
3) Know how to lock layers to aide in coloring
4) Draw Life Charms
5) Be willing to check with me about Charms before making a Stuffalynn
5) Provide me with cropped PNG and SAI/PSD files for all batches
6) Be active on Chickensmoothie
7) Have coloring/drawing skills that equal or exceed my own

I've decided that anyone who is interested in being an artist may PM me about
being an artist, BUT you MUST provide me ample examples of your work.
If your examples show skills that equal or exceed my own, I will then provide
you with a simplified version of the linearts to use to make up to 3 try outs.

ANNOUNCEMENT

Stuffalynn Sanctuary is moving to the Oekaki!

_____The lineart is not going to be done in the Oekaki because I have a hard time drawing with the program. Instead, each Oekaki image will say "Stuffalynn #" and showcase the Stuffalynn in the first post. I've been looking at other Oekaki adoptable shops and seen a handful of them doing exactly that. I figured it will be a LOT easier to keep track of the Stuffalynns this way, plus they will each have their very own thread so people can comment on them/advertise for breeding/etc.

_____I know there are probably some people who think Stuffalynns should stay where it is. But personally I really enjoy the way the Oekaki adopts are done, and it will make my life a lot easier to catalog and keep track of the Stuffalynns. And when it comes to form competitions, using the Oekaki will be much easier because forms for different Stuffalynns won't all be posted in the same thread. All of the extra topics (breeding, nursery, exploration) will remain where they are!

_____The first 6 Stuffalynns that have already been posted here WILL be posted into the Oekaki before any more new Stuffalynns go up. I will be PMing the owners of those Stuffalynns (just in case they miss this announcement) so that they know where they can go to bookmark their Stuffalynns' new threads!
