To get free dogs are from the pound (like the one you are adopting), the Free Pets section and your first custom (in the Designer Dogs section) is free.

You can also bid on the Auction and on the 30/08/2012 the winner will be announced, the person with the highest bid will be the winner. You can also breed but you need two (male and female) or breed with another members dog to do that.
