A note to anyone thinking of applying for a smili: Spotty has updated the information thread with some new details, so be sure to check that out before writing your application. :3 Some of the main new points:

- Smilis are about as civilized as humans would have been shortly before they discovered fire
- Most tend to live in nomadic groups and don't have buildings of any sort, though they will dig dens and might have simple sleeping shelters like a burrow or under a branch; apart from those they often will sleep on the ground or in a tree
- Smilis have no tools more advanced than a stick and are unable to use things like hammers or spears
- Their jewellery is mostly bones that have been gnawed to a sharp point that can be pierced through an ear or nose
- Their paws are hand-like and can be used to hold small objects like a rat or squirrel might, but they can't lift anything very heavy with their paws or throw things; their forelegs are more developed for climbing trees
