Pet's ID Tag:
Kennel # 32
Name You'd Choose for It:
Bluen
Gender:
Female
Reason You Want It:
I have a bit of a soft spot for herding dogs, and this girl just screams herder. I don't tend to really like characters that look too unnatural, but she somehow attracted me as a sweet young girl, so I decided to try out and see if I could give her a good home.
History/Background/Other:
Young and happy, Bluen hasn't known unhappiness a single day of her life. Daughter of Siria the collie and Jeano the Old English Sheepdog, she was the product of an unintentional breeding of the two family dogs. Born in a litter of three, the young girl hopes to prove herself worthy of being a herding dog extraordinaire, just like the pretty dog in the movies, whom for some reason they keep calling a female despite it being a handsome male superstar.

"But why do they keep calling him a she?" she always asks, making her brothers roll their eyes in exasperation, due the usual answer of "Because that is just how humans are." their mother always gives, an amused look in her eyes at the curious girl. Her dreams may be a bit out of reach however, as the young girl belongs to a house far away from any farms, kept as a pet above all else. But for now she will have to do with rounding up the kids in the morning, nipping at their socks as she leads them towards the car, as they have to go to school, happy barks and a wagging tail bidding them farewell until the evening, when they return to frantic licks and clumsy paws flailing in the air as they pick her up in greeting, just as happy to see her as she is to see them.

There is one thing this young girl dislikes above all else and that is water. She does not care how cooling it makes her skin feel on a hot day, the uncomfortable sensation of having a soaked coat afterwards makes it as unworthy it as a shoe that is too out of reach to nibble.

Pet's ID Tag: 18

Name You'd Choose for It: Billiea (Bill- lay-a)

Gender: Female

Reason You Want It:

I have always had a fondness for border collies and when I first saw this little girl I immediately bonded with her. She drew my attention and kept it. I would love to have her in my family and I hope my form shows it. I love her heart shaped marking and will be putting it into my story. I really don't go for pets because of their makers because that wouldn't be fair. I love for ones that I know Ill bond with and love for the rest of their days and Billiea was just one such dog. I've never been aloud to have a border collie though I love then very much so Billiea will always have a special place in my heart. It would mean to world for me to recieve her and I'd be sure to shower her with as much devotion as I show my other babies. If i do get her she will be enters ito the kennels and a Dog sim.

History/Background/Other:

Name: Billiea
Nickname: Liea
Breed: Border Collie
Age: 3 Years Old
Profession: Dog Shows/Herding

Classification and standards

FCI- Group 1
AKC- Herding
ANKC- Group 5 (Working Dogs)
CKC- Group 7 – Herding
KC (UK)- Pastoral
NZKC- Working
UKC- Herding Dog
Dog- (Canis lupus familiaris)

Kingdom: Animalia
Phylum: Chordata
Class: Mammalia
Order: Carnivora
Family: Canidae
Genus: Canis
Species: C. lupus
Subspecies: C. l. familiaris

Fur and Markings:

Billiea's markings are naturally colered and could be called natral except for the heart shaped markings she bears on both sides. Her fur is shiny and clean at time, at times its dirty. It is a short to long in the winter and sometimes she sheds.

Eyes:

Her eyes are alert and focused, clearly showing the intelligence of her breed. She appears to look into your soul with them. Her eyes hold great soul in them, and that is one of the reasons she is so loved and admired.

Intelligence:

Her breed is one known as the smartest dog, and she shows it well. Liea is extremely intelligent and seems to know what humans are saying when she sees them. Shes not smart as a human, but she is very intelligent and that's what sets her apart from the others.

Personality:

Liea is challenging but loving, and has a huge heart for work and her family. She always trys her best wether it's in the fields or at a show. She loves being around humans but what will she do when those same humans abandon her. She turns to the wild in her, very adaptable she adapts to whatever the environment throws at her. Head strong she never gives up, and always strives to go the distance.

She excels in hunting and many of the dogs in their wild pack trust in her to find them food. She does know that there are humans at the edge of the untouched lands but she feels no need to return to her pet life style. She prefers living on the edge. If given the choice to stay with her pack or to go with human, she would pick her pack.

She would give her life for any or her pack, without a second given thought. She however doesn't like fights and to start one is to set of events you wont like. She is motherly and protective, a perfect combination for her breed. She always goes the distance to protect a pack member from danger no mater what it takes.

Likes:

Billiea loves running, she used to herd sheep as a profession. She uses her love for running in constructive ways, such as hunting for the pack. Without her skills with running, the pack may have begun going hungry. She taught them herding skills necessary to bring down game.

Hunting is one of her few loves, and she feels accomplished when shes doing it. She is an expert tracker and herder so she can help alot in hunts. The first week she was on her own she learned silence gains you more then barking does, this made her a better hunter.

Rivers are her favorite water source and she often hangs around them, and washes in them. She keeps her coat shiny this way, and prides on being this clean.

Dislikes:

Going near humans is her main dislike, they have done her wrong and she doesnt feel they deserve her presence. She wont go near the edge of the untouched lands because of her history.

History:

I had lived the live of a papered show pet and herding dog, always having every comfort I wanted. I never had to need anything, as it was always provided. Heck my humans didn't even feed me normal dog food, but gave me real meat instead. They prided me on my lovely markings , saying I was a gift. How little did I know my life would soon change and not for the better. My time was limited, as my winning streak ended so did my owners love for me.

It began gradually, I didn't even notice till it was too late. At first they'd leave me out later and later, soon not letting me in the house at all. They began cutting back on my fine meals, sometimes forgetting to feed me at all so I had to scavenge for food. I became thin, my fur matted with mud from the rainy nights as I waited for it too end.

The end came on a cold, dark and rainy night in the middle of September. That day my owner had ingnored me and in fact had brought another puppy into the house. She was another border collie with a pretty face.'Be careful and dont get attached to them because when you lose they'll throw you out too.' I thought darkly, laying in the dirt by the barn. My heart shaped markings and calico like marking where barely visible anymore from the mud caked on my coat.

That night was dark, rainy and cold, I lay shivering in the mud. The door opened and I had hope maybe they had come around but the master came out with a rope and his keys. I didn't know what was going on but I was sure it wasn't good and slowly stood up, mud pooled of me in rivets. He tied the rope around the loop in my collar and led me to the truck. 'This is it.' I though my head lowered in remorse that I hadn't lived a longer life. I knew where I was probably going, all dogs went there when their owners no longer wanted them, or so I thought.

To my surprise my owner did not drive towards the pound, instead he drove away from it towards the untouched lands. They where named that because no human would set foot on them. My owner pulled up next to the border of these lands and pulled on the rope.

'Out you get!' he said harshly, pulling me out of the car. I whimpered in protest but jumped out. He untied the rope an threw it into the woods. "Get outa here!" he yelled at me, before getting back into the truck and restarting it. He was abandoning me, I knew it the minute he stopped here. I didn't know what my life would hold but I knew whatever it was I would adjust, and grow stronger from this experience.

Ps: I woudve love to add alot more to this but my time ran out.

I understand that by adopting this creature I take full responsibility for it.

Pet's ID Tag: #17
Name You'd Choose for It: Daisy Duke
Gender: Female
Reason You Want It: Because she's simply adorable. She looks like fun to draw, and I felt that click the moment I saw her. I choked on my goldfish crackers (x3). I love flopped ears and bob-tails. I would be very happy is I got Daisy. ^^
History/Background/Other:

Type of Dog: German Shepherd x Golden Retriever
Date of Birth: March 17, 2010
Likes: Her best friend, Taeser, and all of the other many animals in her family, chasing things, swimming, herding, being the best friend she possibly can, puppies, food
Dislikes: When she does things wrong, puppy mills, animal abusers in general, 'leash-dogs' (as in pets)

Story is written in the perspective of my character Taeser

I've done my fair share of good deeds in my life time. I've saved 3 cats, 1 bird and a dog, help 2 other cats, and even let my first loved one go because he wanted to be with someone else. Isn't that enough self-sacrifice to get something in return? I never really realised how much I have until I saved the second the dog in my life...

I was walking alone like I usually do since the members of my pack... flock... pride... whatever we're called are usually busy. At the time, we were staying in a barn, and I was walking close to an abandoned flour mill when I heard a loud whimper. Being the person I am, I had to see what it was.

Inside, there were a lot of empty cages, and it smelled strongly of dog feces... A puppy mill. Taking the 'mill' part seriously much... However, obviously the human rule-defenders... please-men?... had been here and sorted things out. It was empty. But I still heard the crying. I followed it up the stairs into the top of the flour mill. Laying under a table, there was a little golden dog. I couldn't define her breed. I guessed something mixed with golden retriever... maybe german shepherd. Her tail was docked. I walked over and cocked my head. She was just a puppy, probably 7 months old. But she looked wrong for some reason...

"Hello." I said, my voice echoing in the nearly-empty room. The puppy's wide, turquoise eyes flickered to me, and she whimpered quietly. "I won't hurt you..." I promised. "My name is Taeser."

"I'm Daisy Duke... The people that were here didn't know if I was a guy or girl since they're stupid, so they gave me two names." she explained. She cried again, more of human-cry than whimpering. "They weren't nice to me..." she sobbed. "The please-men didn't find me, and now I'm here alone..." she gave a howl of pity.

"You can come with me," I sighed to myself. I had promised that I wouldn't take any more people home with me... "Me and my, erm, group take everyone." I said. "cats, dogs, even a a bird."

"Really?" Daisy said, smiling a little bit. The puppy stood and I gasped. The puppy did look wrong. She was very pregnant. She smiled weakly at my horror-stricken face. "He was a nice boy... I didn't mind what they did to me, especially since I couldn't find any heart beats the other day..." she said. "I could feel six before." So all six of her puppies were already dead. I didn't know whether to feel happy that the young dog wouldn't have to be a mother, or sad because she wouldn't get that sensation of caring for something that is part of you...

"Let's go." I said, turning to hide my face. What had I gotten myself into. Our... thing... was too full as it is. Another dog that may or may not have 6 puppies would be a lot of work. She had promised that she couldn't feel them anymore, but they might just be in a spot she didn't check. Me and my stupid helpful self! What's wrong with me?! Why do I have to be so nice?!...

"So, do you and your family have a name? Like 'murder' or 'herd' or something?" Daisy asked. I almost froze, but I stopped myself from doing so.

"No... we're just... The Group." I said. "And I don't really think we're a family..."

"Oh..." and she dropped the subject, understanding that it bothered me. We bother stayed quiet the whole walk home.

When we reached the barn, my mate greeted me, rubbing my face with his. My kits all ran over, shrieking, "MUMMY!" Daisy smiled. "Definately not a family." she teased. I ignored her.

I introduced Daisy to the family. She told us her story...

"I was born into the puppy mill, and was taught by my mother to get away if I could. The men were very to mean to me, especially when..." she cringed. "Anyway, soon the please-men came and took the mean humans away. When the cage were opened, my mother told me to run, since sometimes dogs don't get nice homes. I listened and hid upstairs from the please-men until they didn't come back. I lived off of mice for a while, but I was getting weaker. I think that's why the pups died. Anyway, Taeser found me and now I think I'll stay with you're group... if that's okay." she said.

Jack, the dog in our group, immediatly promised her it was. I held back a laugh as she blushed at his reaction.

For two months, we were a happy... group... and when she had her puppies, she did infact give birth to six puppies. But only 5 were still-born. She had a little puppy that was still alive. It was tinier than any puppy I had ever seen, and it was even smaller than the still-borns. It was a wonder it lived. She named him Hai; it means Alive.

That very day, she came to me and said, "I've been with you guys for two months, and I have to tell you... You're very lucky. You have a mate, three kits, and a kind, big family. I can't imagine what you did to deserve a family like this..." she bit her lip, realising that she had called it my family. "I mean..." I shushed her.

What had I done to deserve this group? I had to save every one of them in one way or another, and drop my old mate so that he could be with someone else. I had given everything, and I always complained about getting nothing in return. But this dog, Daisy Duke, had just showed me what I had gotten from everything. I got my family. My real, true family.

I couldn't understand how after 5 years, I had never realised what an amazing family I had. "Daisy..." I said, unable to express my happyness towards her. "I owe my entire life to you. There is nothing more I'd like than for you to never leave me and my family." Daisy smiled. "Thanks." was all she said.

I still wonder sometimes how I missed it, yet a puppy could figure it out before she even met my family. I often wonder if she's an angel sent to show me how lucky I am. And it's true what she said; my life and Daisy's life are connected like a family's. Maybe even more. And I always do my best to keep my luck - my family - safe.

~Hai passed at the young age of 2 months old. We all miss him dearly.~

I understand that by adopting this creature I take full responsibility for it.
