Desu means it is in Japanese.

Even though I was ninja'd by Dharsii, yes, the technical definition is "it is." It's a general ending to a Japanese sentence to indicate state of being.

It's used in a joking manner when making fun of weeaboos (non-japanese who wish they were Japanese to the point of ruining the culture)
