Definitely trying out for the bobtailed one too <3

Is there any limit for how many rounds one will stay up? Like...if the tundra cub goes four more rounds with only two adoptions entries, will she continue to stay?

Not trying to be bothersome or anything, promise D: I'll be back with my bobtailed form later, I think.
Feel free to call me Mo, Moki, or any other variation of my username you can think of. (:

~.::I Would Like to Adopt!::.~

Parduseros wanted:
Male, Desert parduseros - Bobtailed
Click Me!
What will you name it?: Soul
Link to Character Thread : WIP
Age: 5 Years
Gender: Male
Mate/Crush: None
Theme Song:
Voice:
WARNING!
This scene contains scenes of mature subject matter,
and not all content is suitable for younger audiences. Viewer
discretion is advised.

Ya, it's pretty creepy. Keep in mind there's quite a bit of bloodshed,
since it's an anime and you may find an inappropriate thing or two.
I suggest you go to:
1:13 and leave at 1:20
Soul from Soul Eater. (The one with the white hair)
Then you'll see what his voice is like but not get the indecent content.

Theme Song: Skillet - Whispers in the Dark

Personality:
Soul is a very strange male, unlike most of his noble breed,
he tends to keep his friends close. He enjoys their company, though he never says much.
In fact, most of the time he just opens his mouth to say a crude retort. He is not the most social of his species in a manner though. When he meets a new parduseros (in particular a male) he is extremely hostile. Don't be surprised if he pins you down and threatens to tear out your guts at first glance.
He rarely warms up to parduseros outside his family, and even within his family he has his preferences.
This tough guy is liable to fend off a group of Winter wolves to protect anyone dear to him, so be careful not to mess around with him or his friends. The outcome won't be pretty.
Although, under his tough guy exterior, he really does have a sentimental side, even if he refuses to show it. No matter how close you get to him, don't expect him to show any emotion other than anger or boredom.

He spends most of his time either in his cave or surveying his territory. He owns a vast territory. It has a large oasis, and plenty of palm trees. His den is located under a few shrubs beside his favorite pond. It's an underground cavern. Inside it's cool and moist, perfect for escaping the blazing heat of the morn. Since the desert nights can be devastatingly cold however, Soul often keeps out of his den at night.
He is a nocturnal hunter, so he only comes out to eat at night. His favorite hunting technique is ambushing his prey, which is what he usually does. Though he stalks as well, but only when prey is scarce.
He is a skilled trapper, having trained for years to get to his level of encounter. Being the experienced character he is, he also tends to be temperamental and unreasonable.
He's also not too bright, but he's not necessarily stupid, so he tends to jump to conclusions or make abrupt decisions. He hates thinking, and he's never really had to use his brain in a fight, though he's never lost a spar.

His favorite food is addax, a breed of wild antelope which roam the deserts which he abides.

He has a very crude attitude towards his kind, and he doesn't trust many people. He is all ways willing to put his life on the line for a friend, and would never give in during a fight. Which is one of his biggest defaults, he never backs down. For anything...
Only a small number of people can actually keep him level headed enough to agree, otherwise you'll have to con him into consenting.

Soul is often careless with what he does, and often gets himself into troublesome situations to help others. He never fears for his own life, and all ways puts others first. He's a cool guy and a ladies man, having a laid back attitude and versatile nature, it's no wonder the females love this bad boy.

If he were to select a mate, her personality would be one of three.
❦ A tough girl. She's laid back too, but is more flirty and social than he is.
❦ A shy girl who rarely speaks and can't defend herself.
❦ Your average social butterfly. The life of the party this girl just can't stop talking! She loves to chat
and is quick to express her opinion.

He lives with a young female cub, who some say is his adopted sister. Others say he's training her to be a deadly warrior. But, the way Soul hides her in the shadows, I fear we'll never truly know.

Likes:
Fighting, hunting, racing, swimming, sleeping, basking in the sun,
Dislikes:
The cold, crowds, unknown males, Winter wolves,

History:

I was only 3 months old when the Death-Saber's came to get me.
The Death Saber's are a group of bloodthirsty warriors, who live in the great alps.
They needed more apprentices, and so, they took advantage of the fact most of our
kind are solitary, or have small families, and killed off the adults. One by one.
Then they steal the cubs. Any cub under 1 year, can be recruited. The rest of the family is killed.

They wanted me and my brother as recruits, and I had to watch as they slaughtered my family like lambs
before my very eyes.

Blood trickled down my pelt, my body quivering with fear.
I growled, narrowing my eyes into sleets when I spotted the two large tundran males at the front of my cave.
My brother huddled close to me, his hackles raised, though fear waved from his pelt in a fury as our opponents approached.

I knew there was no evading them. We were both young and inexperienced, and there wasn't a chance that'd we'd get by with our current fighting techniques. And at this point, we weren't exactly the fastest parduseros's out there...

We were picked up easily by our scruffs. I lay still and went limp, my eyes following the trail of blood that led to my parents corpses. My brother on the other hand struggled beside me, thrashing and yowling with rage. But they just ignored him, I figured they were probably used to that reaction by now.

They led me and my brother away to a cave, filled with other cubs. We didn't stay long though. The cubs were led out all most as soon as we got there. We were to be brought to Death clan's cave, and so, the journey began.
It was a long and treacherous journey, many of the cubs died. Either of hunger or of exhaustion. But the Saber's simply led us on, leaving the corpses to rot in the snow. I evaded everyone, except my younger brother, who clung to me like a frightened and bewildered newborn.
Finally, one night we curbed to rest. The weather was too harsh to travel in, and so we stopped by a cave to shelter from the storm.
Not everyone was able to get a spot in the cave, in fact, most cubs had to sleep outside. Only the strongest cubs could get spots. Me and my brother had no trouble finding a place, seeing as I was one of the largest cubs there. Everyone fell asleep quickly, tired from the journey.

My ear twitched as hot breath flowed down my neck. And my eyes shot open when something pinched my side. With a jolt I glared through narrowed eyes at who had disturbed my sleep. "Hey what gives?" I growled, lashing my tail. I blinked, seeing a frail she cub standing horrified over my tail. "S-sorry...I just...I just wanted a place to sleep." she said her eyes wide. "Please don't hurt me!" she whispered hoarsely.
I locked my gaze with hers and she stepped back, petrified. After a few moments I sighed and shifted over, gesturing to the space I had made beside me. "Here." I said.
She glanced at the spot, and then back at me, hesitant. "Do you want it or not?" I snorted. She quickly nodded and padded forward, curling up beside me. She pressed against me, shivering with the cold. Normally, I would have told someone leaning up against me to back off, but strangely I didn't tell her off. Maybe I was just too tired to argue, maybe I felt so much pity for her I couldn't get the courage to tell her to go away, but...maybe...just maybe....I liked the feeling of her pelt against mine.

I woke up to find the space where she had been earlier empty. I didn't bother looking for her.
The group was getting ready to leave and I didn't want to get left behind. I didn't see my brother, and began to grow worried as we left, but I spotted him talking to a few females a few minutes later, and began to calm.
It wasn't long until we stopped, though I was confused at first. By now most of the snow had cleared, until we had finally reached a boreal forest. As the group halted one of the large Death Saber's turned, his tail lashing.
"Welcome to Death clan!" he bellowed, his fur ruffling.
All the cubs seemed to glance around in disorientation. There was nothing but trees and bushes...where was the tribe?
I felt like flinching as the male raked his gaze across my pelt. "You!" he growled. "Your first." I didn't shift away as he stomped over and picked me up by the scruff. I tried to stay calm, but shivered as he held me over a clump of bracken. He suddenly flung me downward and with a screech of surprise I fell in through the brushwood. I shut my eyes tight when I hit the ground, coughing as I got to my feet. I glanced around, at first only seeing darkness. But after a few moments, my vision began to clear, and I could distinguish the shapes around me as other parduseros. When I saw I was not alone I bristled, getting into a offensive stance. "Who's there?" I growled menacingly. I pricked my ears and raised my head when the other cubs came in after me, followed by the Death Saber's. "Don't worry. Your among friends." one of the figures said, slinking out of the gloom. His black pelt shimmered in the moonlight, and his eyes glowed eerily.
I snorted and glanced forward again, keeping mute as to not call any more attention to myself.

After that were fed and introduced to our new leader, BlackStar.
I felt wary for the most part, but I soon began to feel more comfortable. The Death Sabers
greeted us warmly and talked to us, discussing their training methods and such, telling us how we were to become great warriors. I smiled, maybe it wouldn't be so bad here after all.

~+~

It wasn't long before they had started our training.
I had easily become the most accomplished student in my group, and was the envy of the other males.
Including my brother.
As a result we drifted apart, until finally we became bitter rivals. Loneliness tore at my heart like an eagles talon until I felt like my heart had been carved out from my chest. I often went to a small corner I had made for myself when I wanted to be alone, just so I could think my life over. The power, the envy ,the females...was it worth my brothers love? I stopped to contemplate for a moment, but sighed shaking my head when I realized my brother was different back when we had a family. He wasn't the same cub I used to know...
My ears pricked when I heard a screech from across the hollow. It sounded eerily familiar...
I went to go check it out, and was surprised to see some rainforest male cubs cornering a she cub. I growled, recognizing the female from the cave. I immediately leapt to her defence, and with a mighty caterwaul the other males rushed away in fear, their tails between their legs. I snorted, turning to her. "You okay?" I asked. She was bleeding from her forehead, and she was panting hard. "Im fine." she said breathlessly. "Really."
"Just to be safe, come to my cave so I can clean you up a bit." I offered.
Too tired to argue she followed me. She explained to me those males had been rivals of her old clan, and they had not found it in themselves to forget the ambitions of their ancestors.
I nodded after her story, telling her she could stay as long as she liked in my cave.
Eventually, it became evident it was too dangerous for her to leave the cave alone. So I had her stay in my cave for most of the day, and came out with her from time to time to stretch her legs. I found out her name was Akira, which means, 'fading beauty'. The name fit her and her shy personality perfectly.

Finally, Akira decided to go out of the cave alone.
At first I advised her, and even all most commanded her to stay at the cave. But she soon talked me out of it and got me to agree with her leaving the den. I worried bitterly for her whenever she went out alone. I didn't quite realize it but out of my loneliness I had grown a certain appreciation for the beautiful female.
Little did I know she would change the very fabric of my nature forevor.

~+~
(( 3 months ))

Time passed and my feelings for Akira blossomed into love. By this point we were both
full fledged death sabers, and we could take a mate. A slong as it was another Death Saber of course.
I couldn't deny my emotions towards her, no matter how much I wanted to. At long last I decided to confide in her
about my affection.

(( Since Im past the limit I plan to finish this if I win! If I don't I guess I just won't. xD ))

Im still fairly new to online art when it comes to drawing, and Im still learning about layers.
Once I learn about layers and how to manipulate them, I plan to colour the piece in. :3
As well as shade, possible add background and tweak it up a bit too. :)

Parduseros wanted:
Male, Desert parduseros - Bobtailed
Image
What will you name it?: Balavan
Link to character thread (so I can see how well you take care of your other characters): Link is Here
Personality: Balavan is proud and strong. Very rarely will you find a moment when he lets true emotion show through a hard shell.
Likes: extreme heat or extreme cool, hes just an extreme kind of guy. hunting, fighting, sun bathing, sleeping, rain
Dislikes: when its neither hot or cold, running, when he cant find food, feeling weak or scared, loosing a fight
His Home: Balavan lives in a slightly smaller territory, but he does manage to get by with what he has. There is an oasis in the center, where he has his den. His den is made up of large boulders and shrubs and the sand on the inside is cool and scattered with shimmering dust and gems. He loves to stand on the very top boulder to look around his territory.
The sun beat down from the cloudless blue sky, heating the sand underpaw as I walked around my territory. I knew there was no use to hunt as I passed a group of gazelles. They seemed to know it as well, because they merely picked their heads up from grazing, observed me for a few seconds, then went back to eating. I laughed... "Even the prey know when the predator cant run faster than them." I continued onward, back to my den and the oasis.
Reaching my boulder den, I climbed up to the top. I held my head high as I surveyed the vast land around me. A slight breeze ruffled my mane, and I welcomed it greatfully. Standing up here always reminds me of the times when I was younger, one who had no territory to call his own, one who had to fight for every last bite of food if you wanted it bad enough. I watched the sun start to sink below the horizon, and I decided to go nap a bit before I hunt. The prey wont be sleeping at this time yet, so I had time. I jumped half fell off the rock and padded into my den. The ground felt good after my paws nearly roasted outside. I soon found a spot to sleep and drifted off.
• • •
I lay down in the sand of my den and rolled vigorously. When I got up, the sand flowed off my like a cascade of water, but I could see out of the corner of my eye the ammount of gems and shimmering stones that stayed. As I walked out side, I could hear the crashing of different fights for the females going on in the distance, and that was where I was headed. My pelt and mane were sparkling and gems were scattered in the crevaces of my horns.
I reached the clearing where a few others were standing. I saw my opponent next to the female I had my eye on and growled. The female stepped back, clearly agreeing with us that we should fight over her. The other male and I squared off. I broadened my shoulders and held my head up high, letting out a roar that any lesser creature would scare at. The male roared back and we lunged at eachother, ramming square on, but fortunately our horns did not lock. We staggered backwards and glared at eachother. My opponent came at me again, off center, going for my shoulder and side of my neck. I roared in pain as his teeth met my skin and pulled away. I whirled around and rammed him, but as I tried to pull away, I ended up stuck. Our horns were locked, and there is not much you can do about it during a fight. I pulled my head sideways and was able to feel my own teeth meet his shoulder. Out of the corner of my eye I could see the female, her eyes on me, watching intently. I had a feeling that in the end I would win the girl. The male threw himself to the ground on purpose and pulled me down with him. We clawed at eachother, and sometime in the middle of it I was able to pull my head free of his. I scrambled to my paws before he got a chance too and planted my feet on his shoulders, pinning him.
I let him up, and he sulked away, off to heal his ego and the tear in his shoulder and stomach. My shoulder hurt and so did my head, but I reallly couldnt have cared less. The female stayed through the whole fight, which really is half the battle. But if she would accept me, well... thats a whole other fight on its own.

the story starting from "The Sun" and ending on "its own" is 671 words.
