Kitsuneko Name:Meallán (pronounced
MEL awn) Irish for 'lightning'
Gender:Male
Personality:Meallán is very stubborn and much like his name, he is very much like lightning. He likes a bit of destruction and mayhem, but not if people are getting hurt. He's very social and likes making new friends. But he doesn't trust that easily .He has his problems, but will always try to do what's right. He's strong and even though he's smaller then other Kitsunekos, he's got enough fight in him to make up for it. He will fight for his life if he must, but is not usually a fighter. (Despite his bad temper) He is slightly childish, and likes to act like a kid sometimes.

Past:Meallán was raised in Scotland by a human. He never knew his parents. His human found him when he was a newborn pup, lying in the forest. She put him in her pocket and took him home. He was fed on milk for a few hours until she could get him to the vets. The vet told his human that he would die and probably wouldn't survive the night. But his human was stubborn and insisted that the vet give her some special baby formula to feed him. And Meallán was stubborn too. He clung onto the little spark of life left inside of him, and was soon healthy again. As he grew, his human noticed that he was smaller than most Kitsunekos. But what he lacked in size, he made up for with spirit.
Soon he was fully grown and his human set him free again. But before she did, she gave him his items. But he came back, and never left. One day she decided to go for a holiday in New Zealand, and took Meallán with her.One day he wandered off, and accidentally wandered into another Kistuneko's territory . They fought, and Meallán hit his head pretty hard on a rock. The other Kitsuneko assumed he would die and left him. He woke up to see another Kitsuneko was looking down at him.
(my other Kitsuneko)He noticed her coat was brown and dark grey and in his head he compared it to his brightly colored coat. Than he noticed a tree growing out of her back. She asked him if he was OK and he couldn't remember. He couldn't remember anything other then hitting his had, then waking up in the cave with the female. She told him her name was Kisetsu. He explained that he couldn't remember his past, and she offered to let him stay with her . He accepted, and they are now the best of friends.
Story:Meallán ran around the forest, leaping over small logs and crawling under bushes. He eventually crouched inside a large hollow log and was silent. He took slow breaths and didn't even move. He heard footsteps go past the log and he nearly let out a tiny chuckle. The footsteps seemed to pause , but then faded off into the distance. He waited for a few minutes until the footprints were gone. He crept out of the long , pushing a cobweb off his muzzle with one paw.
He ran into the forest , making sure to be as quiet as he could. But there was a loud crack! as Meallán's paw landed on a dry twig. "FOUND YOU!" A female voice called out. Meallán rushed through the heavily wooded area as pawprints echoed behind him. His goal was just ahead...he was nearly there..so close. But a paw grabbed his shoulder and he skidded to a halt. Laughter met his ears as Kisetsu smiled.
"You have to hide now!" Meallán told her, and she strode off into the bushes with a grin. Meallán covered his eyes with his paws and began to count to 100. Once he was done he stood up and looked around, listening for quiet giggling or pawprints. He strode through the area, keeping a close eye out for Kisetsu's tree.
He saw a flash of tan fur among the green leaves. He silently stalked forwards and......pounced. Kisetsu shrieked as Meallán rolled over her. The two Kitsunekos laughed and stood up, brushing the dirt off their coats. "Let's get back home." Meallán commented and Kisetsu nodded, but her features turned into a smirk.
"RACE YOU BACK!!" She yelled as she threw herself forwards. Meallán raced after her. 'NO FAIR!!" He called after her as they chased each other home.
They skidded into the cave, dirt flying up from under their paws as they stopped running. "You...win" Meallán panted. Kisetsu laughed breathlessly. "Heck yeah!"
The two lay down at the cave entrance to watch the sun set like fire.
