A Chibi Pup was born! Martha and Jeramy just had a baby girl! Her name is Snowflake, Snowflake had this beautiful coat that had snowflakes on it because she was born in winter! It was December 20th, five days before christmas! If you were to look outside, you would see that the snow was falling just right, evenly and slowly. Today was just PERFECT! But, a few hours later, that day became tradjic. Martha and Jeramy passed away that day... they died in a terrible accident. Snowflake went into an orphanage so she could be adopted.

---- A Few Years Later ----

Snowflake is growing up really fast!!! Right now she is in school! It Snowflakes first day of Chibementary ( Chib-e-ment-ary) school! Snowflake bumps shoulders with a Chibi named Laurilie. Snowflake is very sorry! Snowflake," Oh, my! I am so sorry! I din't mean to! I a-" Lauralie cuts her off. " It's ok.. really.. wanna be friends???" Snowflake replies shyly," Sure. Want to compare scheduels??" Lauralie..." Sure! Here, let's find my friens Nani... I think she will like you!" Sarah and Jake are in a pending adoption with Snowflake.

Snowlflake's ears drooped as she thought about more deeply about who exactly she was. She didn't know who her family was at all---the oldest memory she could manage to remember was her, in a dangerous, frigid blizzard, fighting her way through for nothing at all except bitter survival. Luckily she had managed to find some other chibipups who were bright, enthusiastic, and welcomed her in warmly to their world.
Snowflake was grateful, yes, she was. But...she needed more; she craved for information from her true childhood. Who WAS she? Her mother? Father? Did she have siblings? She sighed, her tail swishing the floor.
"I wonder who I really am," she murmured sadly.
That was when she met Icy Zephyr.
The friendly young chibi pup was not an orphan; well, far from it. She had everything she wanted- a warm home, happy siblings, plentiful games, and most importantly, loving parents. Snowflake stared in a kind of envy as a feeling of unjust and sadness rose from her stomach as she watched Zephyr smile with her mother.
"Hello," came a voice.
Snowflake jumped, only to see Zephyr standing behind her with an innocent grin on her pale face.
"Well," Snowflake said in a slightly sarcastic tone.
"I'm Zephyr. Nice to meet you--you're snowflake, right?"
"Yeah," answered Snow, flicking her long, fluffy tail. She wasn''t too pleased with Zephyr, but she continued to speak. The worst part was, Zephyr didn't seem bad at all, and Snow didn't want to admit she had been wrong.
They continued to meet; and as they did, the two grew closer and closer until now, they could tell each other their deepest thoughts.
They were now on a snow covered bridge, looking down at a flowing river.
"Have you ever thought about...parents being overprotective?" Zephyr asked quietly. "My parents are nice and all, but a bit too protective. They don't care about my opinions, they lock me into their little world. I want to run away."
"But at least you HAVE parents. You should be grateful for that," Snowflake protested. A slight anger was building up inside her at this...this ungrateful, spoiled young pup.
"Yes, I know, Snow."
Zephyr spoke no more, but the bond between the two puppies were broken by that little conversation.
