07/09 will be the final day to participate in our adventure game! Unfortunately, I do have another long work day and won't be able to respond to forms multiple times. For that reason, after this post everyone is welcome to submit two adventure forms at once <3 (This goes for anyone who got a choice option this round as well -- just be sure to choose which route you're going so you still get a prize for this round!)

07/10 will be an additional day to trade for prizes and enter our raffle; the winner of which will be picked sometime that evening. Any prizes left unclaimed when the raffle is drawn will be stored and used as future Park prizes c:

You decide to head towards the River to see if you can help out any of the volunteer groups nearby. After a short, though tedious trek through the forest, you arrive at the river bank. The water is higher than you've ever seen it, with sticks, leaves, and litter slowly drifting past on the surface. People are picking up trash nearby, and when they spot you they hand you some gloves to help. But it isn't long before you find something cool amongst the debris, and quickly pocket it.

Upon arriving at the Park, you decide that the Field is first priority. After all, it gets the most foot traffic; being the first place you pass through on your way in. You quickly join a volunteer group, and work in pairs to clear away as much trash and yard waste as you can. You work for hours, and have several bags of debris to show for it -- not to mention a little something for yourself you'd found while working.

You arrive at the River to help clean, but the place is already packed with volunteers. You decide that it would be more effective to work in another location. You see that up the River to the left, there's a log blocking the flow of the River and catching debris against it -- easily enough to fill a few bags. But across the River, the opposite bank is absolutely littered with garbage. The only way to it would be wading through the shallower water further to the right.

You decide to offer your help down by the Lake, and venture through the park towards it; passing several other volunteers on the way and exchanging greetings. The once well-used path to the Lake is overgrown and muddy now, but you trudge through determinedly. It only takes about ten minutes to get there, and upon your arrival you find a group actively cleaning litter from the shoreline. You're handed a bag for all that you pick up, and get to work -- but wait, what's that at your feet?

What with all the water runoff, you feel like Lake will be particularly messy, and decide to work there. After making your way through mud and overgrown weeds, you finally arrive at the Lake; already winded. A cleanup crew is actively working, and you're assigned a section. But the day is hot, and as you clean your mind is thinking longingly of taking a break. It's miserable work, but for a good cause.

You reach the Field and realize a lot of other volunteers had the same idea as you. You debate going someplace else, until you notice that the crowds are doing more chatting than they are working. Probably volunteers wrapping up for the day, or new arrivals figuring out whats-what. So you decide to stay, but look around for somewhere a little less crowded to work in peace. There's a part of the Field nearest the parking lot that was completely deserted. But you also notice the spot where you used to bring your own pets to play is surprisingly empty as well.

Though you chose to work in the Forest that day, you decided to deviate from the group and work in your own area. Now, you stand on a disused walking path, with a fallen tree ahead of you. It isn't very large, and if you got a good hold on it you could probably move it to the left and off the path. But, with its roots sticking out every direction, you weren't sure if it was worth it. Maybe you could just go right, and walk around it?

You choose to work in the Field that day, and get straight to cleaning upon your arrival. You fill bags with sticks and wet leaves, load heavier logs and fallen branches into wagons to wheel out, and work with other volunteers to locate all the trash washed in by the storm. It's hard work, and on such a hot day, you tire out quickly. After a few hours, you decide to take a break and go to get lemonades with some of the other volunteers.

You decide to move the tree. After all, if you don't, someone else will. No use in leaving work for the others. You grab hold of the trunk and heave with all your might. At first, it doesn't budge. But as you consider giving up, you feel it slowly beginning to slide across the muddy ground. Though it takes a few minutes and much effort, you move the tree off the path. You can't help but think it will make a good shelter for some of the Strays around the Park. As if it were a reward, it wasn't a few minutes later that you noticed something in your path.

You arrive at the Lake to help clean, only to find that a half dozen or so have already beat you to it. But they're working in a large group, and there's still a lot of ground to cover. You could go to the left and clean the far bank, where you can see a lot of storm debris even from there. Or you could go to the large rocks to the right, and see if you can find any litter stuck between them.

Sure enough, you arrive and find that the once picturesque Forest to be little more than fallen branches, washed up banks of leaf mulch, and trash that had washed through with the flooding. You join the volunteer efforts and begin hauling large branches out of the walking paths. Though it is hard work, your efforts aren't for nothing.
