The coat of an Aegean Cat is semi-longhaired, without down hair, with a moderate ruff and a rich tail. The Aegean Cat's coat provides good protection during the harsh winter weather and sheds out short for the summer. The coat is bicolor or tricolor; one of the colors is always white, without signs of yellowing and takes up between 1/3 to 2/3 of the body. Other colors can be black, red, blue, cream, with or without stripes. The Aegean Cat is a medium-size breed, with a sturdy and muscular build, without signs of obesity. The body is long, with strong, medium-size feet and round-shaped paws. The tail is moderately long, straight, without kinks. The head is medium-size, wide but not round. The ears have a wide base and rounded tips and are covered by hairs. The eyes have an oriental shape and their color can be any shade of green.

Angel is sweet, sweeter than a lot of dogs in her pack. She is sweet, caring, and loving. She always has a soft spot for her friends and family. Her sweetness comes in handy when socializing with her master and others, her caring is always dependable and she is very independent and strong. She is also extremely hardcore when it comes to defending her friends and pack. This characteristic comes in handy during battle or hunting.
History/Background wrote:
Angel was born in the summer along with her 4 siblings, Larka, Kia, Recha, and Elch. Angel was actually the smallest pup out of the litter and always had to fight hard for food and a spot next to her mother, Juna. This was Juna's second litter of pups and always tried to stick up for Angel. Angel looked up to her older, stronger siblings but never met their standards. Often, whenever the played, Angel would jump in only to be pushed out of the games and often excluded from a lot of things. Rarely their father, Olecha, would take the pups out for hunting lessons but Angel was never strong enough to keep up with the group, she would stay behind dreaming that she could go with them.
A few weeks after the began hunting, Olecha came for the pups for a fighting lesson, Angel thought that she was finally strong enough and decided to go along. The other pups snickered and glared at her as she nudged her father for approval to go, he nodded and trotted of to the fighting clearing. Her siblings struggled to keep up with his path through the forest but Angel, in the time her siblings had learned how to hunt, had been exploring and knew a path to the clearing and had no trouble keeping up.
She and Olecha finally reached the clearing and waited for the others, Olecha sat down and opened is huge, black wings. Angel stared in awe at the as the sun glittered around them. Thats when she noticed she had them too, just smaller and white with black tipped feathers. She moved this part of he body for the first time and started to trot in small circles. Eventually falling she looked to her father who was giggling at the small pup. He licked her ear and started to walk toward the forest right as her siblings came into the clearing. She had noticed the all her brothers and sisters had wings too.
Olecha had lined up the pups and told them to give the practice all our energy. Angel wagged her tail and watched her father nudge Kia to the center followed by Recha. Recha looked at Olecha in concussion but Kia pounced on her, he pinned her to the ground but in an instant Recha was kicking Kia's massive body off of herself. Slowly Recha got back to her feet and head butted Kia's large chest pushing him to the ground, she pinned his shoulder and back legs to the ground. Suddenly Olecha barked and Recha, stunned, jumped off of Kia, Recha got pushed to the side while Kia got pushed back to the pups.
Angel's feeling of confidence was slipping away as he nudged Elch and Larka forward. Angel swallowed hard as she saw the two go at each other with all they had, Elch went strait for Larka's tail and bit down hard. Her instant reaction was to kick, and with all her power, kicked his chest, it sent Elch flying back close to Angel. He got up and lounged strait for her Larka's chest, swiftly, she dodges it letting Elch fly toward Olecha and Recha. Before having a chance to respond, Elch bounds toward Larka landing heavily on her chest pinning her. Their father barks again and Elch is sent with Recha. Larka is sent back with Angel and Kia.
Angel's stomach fluttered with energy and suddenly realized, who would she fight? She prayed it wasn't the father. But when Olecha nudged Elch and Recha to the center, the pups were baffled and looked at one another. Elch booted towards Recha and pounded her front legs. She nipped and barked but he slowly pinned her. Olecha barked and scooted Recha out to the rest of them and pushed Angel towards Elch. Angel could her the snickers and laughter of the others, suddenly Olecha snapped at them. Angels blood was pumping as she approached Elch.
Angel raced toward Elch, catching him off guard. He got back up and snapped at the small dog. She bolted near the edge of the clearing and saw she was being chased by him, she dashed, opened her wings and fluttered them sending her far above her siblings and father, they all stared in wow and awe as her wings let her soar over the clearing. She stumbled coming back down but managed to tuck her wings in and roll.
Olecha ran up to her licking her face and smiling. The others ran up behind him and stared at her wings and all expanded their own and admired them.

A few months passed and all the pups knew how to fly, hunt, and fight. But Juna soon fell ill and became weaker and weaker. Olecha took best care of her as he could with the help of the Healer of the pack, Secle. Angel admired Secle and offered to fetch medicine and anything else needed. Her mother slowly recovered as the pups got set for the choosing of their place in the pack.
Soon enough, Juna was well again and Olecha called for a pack meeting. He announced that the pup's positions would be chosen. Kia was the first to be called up. He swallowed and trotted up to his father, Olecha barked out that Kia was a hunter. The pack howled as Kia stumbled over to the pack. Next was Larka, she padded up to her father and he announced she was a hunter too. She embraced the howling and moved to the pack. Recha was chosen next, Angel could she her shake as she was nudged up to Olecha. He announced her as a fighter, she grinned and padded over to the pack. Elch was sitting tall and embracing the stairs as he walked up. He was chosen to be a fighter, which wasn't a surprise.
Angel knew her turn was next and she braced herself for the position. She took a breath and trotted up to her father. He hesitated and look at her then Juna. He announce that Angel was the Healer's apprentice. Angel looked at the pack and opened her wings and smiled. The howled and barked as she went to them. She was finally in the pack.

They should have never been there in the first place.
The cold, harsh wind whipped through their hair as Gethdradon drove, miles zipping by. Alice looked out the convertible window, biting her lip nervously. "Honey, I don't think this is such a good idea," she said quietly.
Her boyfriend looked to her and smiled, chuckling. "Don't worry, Ally," he said, placing a hand on hers, grasping it lightly and intertwining their fingers. "After this, we won't have to worry about them tearing us apart again."
Alice gave a small smile and kissed her boyfriend on his cheek, earning a blush. "I love you," she whispered.
"I love you too," he whispered back, reaching into his pocket to pull out--
The next few seconds went by in a blur. First the old blue mustang, speeding by at about ninety miles per hour. Alice's scream echoed through the wind as the cars collided, a symphony of crashes and bangs sounding out in the midnight breeze. Then silence, as the other driver stumbled out drunkenly, starting to run away.
....
Scene change, at the hospital.
Gethdradon paced around nervously, mumbling to himself. He looked to his girlfriend in the hospital bed, machines hooked up to her left and right. He stepped forward, placing his hand on the glass solemnly.
The sound of someone clearing his throat brought Gethdradon back to reality. He looked over to see a man in a white coat, stethoscope hung round his neck. "Are you Mr. McKinley?" he asked gruffly.
"Yes, Garret McKinley," Gethdradon lied smoothly. "I-Is Alice going to be alright?" His look of worry deepened, a frown plastered to his face.
"Unfortunately, no," the doctor said. "If she gets out of this alive, she'll be paralyzed from the neck down for the rest of her life."
It felt like someone had thrown a harsh blow to his stomach. Gethdradon winced at the thought of his beloved Alice, lying in a bed all day, never accomplishing any of her dreams. She'd never start a family of her own, never be able to walk again, not even to be able to--
"Dr. Shaw," a voice snapped worriedly. "Y-you might want to come see this."
The doctor looked into the room and looked back down solemnly. He entered the room without a word, where the rapid beeping of a machine called to Gethdradon's attention. "W-what's going on?" he asked, tears brimming at his eyes when the beeping finally dulled into one long shriek.
Dr. Shaw sighed, looking up at Gethdradon. "...I'm sorry. She's gone."
...
Scene change, at Alice's funeral.
Gethdradon looked gravely towards the open casket, the sounds of crying echoing through his ears. He placed a hand on Alice's, smiling sadly as her broken body lay curled up, dead to the known world.
"I love you," he whispered, tears rolling down his cheeks.
"....I love you too."
Gethdradon wrote:The cries of the small animals alerted me that there was someone coming. I looked up, my ears pinned back, when I paused. It was a little girl, perhaps thirteen, standing there, staring into the cell curiously. I guess curiosity got the better of her, for she stepped a bit closer, clutching her teddy bear tightly.
I stiffened, but tried my best to stay calm and polite. "Hello there," I called, startling her.
The little girl shuffled her feet quietly, looking down and uttering, "H-hello."
I chuckled, stepping towards the edge of the cage. "What's the matter, kid?" I asked. "Cat got your tongue or something?"
The girl smiled sheepishly and mumbled, "N-no, I'm just really shy, 's'all. I-I don't have a lot of friends, and the ones I did have died last month."
I froze. "...I-I'm really sorry for your loss," I murmured. "I...I didn't--"
"Know? Nobody knew them," she mumbled softly.
I frowned slightly, stepping closer to the girl and saying, "Well I could be your friend."
"Really?" the little girl said excitedly, bouncing up and down. I chuckled.
"As long as you don't forget to feed us," I joked. "Now go adopt us!"
(Not exactly, as I edited this to fit the occasion, but this is how I met my dear friends Garret and Alice.)
