MODEST
Midnightstripe is always very modest. She never boasts about anything and is always found cheering other's on. This she-cat never tries to draw attention to herself and if she does she quickly sends it away. If you made a simple comment about her, she'll get all worked up and quickly change the subject; usually bringing up someone else's talents.

CALM
Midnightstripe is the calmest she-cat you'll ever meet. The world could be ending and she would be the one gently reassuring others. It's not that she's not scared herself, she's just great at controlling her emotions. Midnightstripe has a comforting, calm era to her and just being around her can calm a cat down. If she were any calmer, she would burst!

QUIET
Never drawing attention to herself, Midnightstripe is the calm, quiet shadow. She doesn't usually confront others unless she see's they're in pain; emotionally or physically. She's not lonely (not usually, anyway), she's just independent. She would make a great friend, if someone took the time to get to know her. She's a very intelligent cat and spends her spare time studying, anything and everything.

Background/History [of pet]:

Midnightstripe grew up in an abusive family. Her father wanted no kits, and her mother had to beg him to stay through their childhood; they couldn't have survived without a father. But her father was easily-angered, and would become furious at the simplest things. Having no other way to express himself, he took it out on his helpless daughters.
Twitter and herself [Midnight, at the time] were helpless against his wrath and their mother wasn't strong enough to defend them. Midnightstripe never blamed her mother; it was just against her gentle nature.
Twitter, on the other hand, despised her cowardly mother. Nothing Midnightstripe could ever say would change her opinion; and she tried her best. Midnightstripe tried to reason with her sister, begging her own sister to forgive their mother. But Twitter would have none of it.
Her father, Storm, ended up killing his own daughter in one of his rages. Unable to contorl his anger, he had killed his own daughter by slamming her head into a large flat stone. He ended up smashing her skull; and all Midnightstripe could do was watch. And mourn.
Midnightstripe couldn't hide her hate for her malicious father; it was simply impossible.
Her mother died of the same fate, killed by her mate in one of his blind fury attacks. After Midnightstripe watched another of her precious loved ones killed, she ran away. Ran until her paws burned and her stomach screamed with hunger. She cried herslef to sleep every night. Depression weighed her bones and crushed her will to live. She would've died if not for Skypaw.
Skypaw, a curious young she-cat, found the older kit curled in the branches of an oak. "H-hello?" she mewed, pushing her nose into the depressed cat's matted fur. Whipping her head back, Midnightstripe hissed at the apprentice. "Who are you?!" she mewed, her anger fueled by fear.
"Skypaw!" mewed the cat happily, "What are you doing there? Aren't you cold? Hungry? Where's your family?" And that's how it all started. Midnightstripe came with Skypaw back to their Clan; Midnightstripe became very close to Skypaw because of this. Midnightstripe was given her apprentice name and raised as a Clan cat, growing stronger everyday.
Skypaw and Midnightstripe grew up, side-by-side; inseperable. As they grew, so did their friendship. If you didn't know better, you'd think they were sisters. Midnightstripe tried to forget her past and Skypaw helped her greatly; encouraging her to try new things and step out of her comfort zone. And with their everlasting friendship, they became strong warriors who fought bravely, matching each other's pawsteps and forever looking out for each other.

APPEARANCE

A shorter cat, Midnightstripe isn't a tall, lean cat. She's a little bit on the chubby side, but she's still fit. She has shorter legs and a thick build; one of the reasons why she looks chubby. Her fur is medium-length and she takes a lot of time and effort to keep it tidy each day. She has large paws, bigger than most cats, and they help her balance. Her tail is strangely long, and she needs it to balance on her stubby legs. Her eyes are a pale, silvery grey that penetrate the dark and sparkle in the sunlight. Flecked with silver, her entire pelt is grey with black tabby markings; she also has white markings on her chest, face, paws, tail and belly.
