New round is open for adoption now! 5 forms per person and a revamp contest this round. Happy 3rd anniversary SCAA!

A few announcements! They're in our NEWS POST but I'll post them here to draw attention.


Revamp Contest: Win adopting privileges and very rare CS pets!
Some of the children here have been at the SCAA for a very long time, but have received absolutely no interest in them! Some of our characters don't have their own reference; their only image is on a small adopt sheet. Our regular adopters are having a hard time making out their design. And lastly, some of the designs here are too simple to draw interest. That's why, for our 3rd year anniversary, we're turning to you guys to do the revamps!

Here's the catch.... it's a competition!
Wesley has compiled a list of kennels who need a revamp for one reason or another. Revamping a character on that list will get you points. Due to the varying difficulty or desperate need of a revamp, most kennels will be worth only 1 point towards your total, while others may be worth 2-4 points.
We welcome lineart color-ins and custom art equally. Just be sure that when you turn in your revamps, you credit the artist.
At the end of the competition, the user with the most points wins!

• ALL REVAMPS MUST BE QUALITY. ANY REVAMP THAT IS NOT OF QUALITY/THERE'S LITTLE EFFORT SHOWN WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED OR COUNTED TOWARDS YOUR TOTAL.
• Only revamps of the kennels on Wesley's list will be counted towards your point total.
• You must have the revamp form code word in each post that you turn revamps in, or it will not be counted.
• You can turn in your revamps as you finish them, or all at once.
• Revamps are due by Friday, June 20, 2014 at 4:00 EST.

Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 revampers.

• All members who participate in the contest with at least 1 revamp will receive an extra adopting privilege valid at the SCAA. Redeemable at any time. (This means you can apply for 4 characters in one round, instead of 3.) This way, anyone that doesn't have enough time to enter the contest in attempt to win can still join in the fun, help out, and get rewarded!

Guys, my dream has absolutely, positively come true! This place is HUGE. It's been running for 3 years and has 300 kennels in addition to an extra outreach branch! I am so in love with this wonderful community of people that keeps free character adoption running. :) This round, in celebration of our 3 year anniversary, we will have a very long, extended round and each member can apply for up to 5 kennels. Yay!
