Personality: She is a rather stubborn little creature, and she finds it hard to trust, she is sometimes savage, and once you've obtained her trust, you have to work hard to keep it. If you betray her, then she won't trust ever again (the background explains why) she is also a little gluttonous.
Likes: Eating, sleeping, having friends, when she decides to trust someone, kind creatures
Dislikes: Her father, being awoken before she wants to wake up, not having enough to eat, being alone and cruel creatures.

Background: She was born into an unusually large litter of 4, and she was the smallest, the 'runt', so to speak. It was rather unfortunate that her father happened to be one of the very rare few that were uncaring towards family life, and he was a violent Smili. Since she was so small, he found her useless at hunting, and believing that she would die of starvation anyway, he tried to kill her. His bites and scratches were brutal, leaving scars under her thick fur. His teeth were sharp, as were his claws. So the scars are barely noticeable, but they are there. She was bleeding heavily when he left her to die.

She was found by a scientist, who bandaged her up and took care of her. He was the first she could trust, and when his colleagues tried to touch her, her claws would appear. Soon, the scientist, believing she should be returned to the wild, released her. She has since never forgiven him for it. She had wanted to stay. On her way, she discovered that her siblings had not survived their father's severe beatings and had all died, one by one, she discovered their corpses, and she mourned for each one. Then, she discovered the one thing that she feared the most. The corpse of her mother.

Fire Blossom lay by her mother's side for a week, before continuing on in her life. This was when she had started to really loathe her father. She refused to call him that, and at the tender age of 7, she invented a new father, a caring one, one that had never hurt her or her family. And she was content. Eventually, she turned 10, and is currently looking for a mate.

What I intend to use her for: I write stories on Fictionpress, and I want to write this whole story out, in more detail. The idea has been in my head for a while and I was just looking for a character. I think Fire Blossom would be perfect. When I have written the story out, I'll send the link to Spotty, should she want to read it.. She would, of course, have a place on my Character page, with the link to her story and I'll be asking for art of her too.

Personality: Engel rarely shows when he is angered, he know how to stay calm even in the face of danger. He is alwsy quite smart and is usually a few steps ahead of his prey. Engel hates to backdown and will not do so unless it is nessary to do so. Engel is soft hearted,he won't eat an injured animal. Even though to cover up his soft heart he always says "What is the point of hunting an animal if it is hurt before you hunt. I will not take the easy way out. I will hunt only animals capital of putting up a fight." Engel is quite merciful,even though it may cause him to lose a meal. He doesn't mind bieng in a group and it is believed that he enjoys company of others. Engel will protect those he cares about and will never leave them if he has a choice. Many of the other Smilis in the group he lives him think hightly of him becuase he is quite strong. Engal earns the respect of the other Simlis,but he didn't earn it by hurting them. One time he came across an baby animal,it was injured and helpless. Engel couldn't bring himself to kill it and brought it back to his home. Engel keeps it now as a pet(but it is more of a friend to him). Engel will atack anyone who even thinks about hurting it. Engel has an playful side but usualy acts serious when he is around anyone. He does show his playful side when he is around someone he likes or his little buddy.
Likes: Engel loves to create things,mainly becuase he enjoys making art. Even though he is suppose to be a hunter of the group he lives him,he would rather just make things with his paws. He enjoys watching the nightsky,it has an soothing effect on him. It is also a time where he can collect memories or just think about what happens during the day. Engel has a connection to a sugar glider,that he raised when it was a baby. It is the same animal metioned above. Engal rarely goes anywhere in the camp where he lives without his buddy. The sugar glider's name is Else,which is the name he gave her. It means "God is my oath". It is unknow what her real name is. Engel enjoys to make other people happy,even when it doesn't help him in anyway. Engal loves water,it isn't too uncommon to see him near a river or a small pond. He also plays in the rain sometimes. He also loves to listen to bird chirps during the day. Engel says "Nature makes the most beautiful music, it is so clean and pure" Engel loves to play in high grass to,even though he rarely shows it he does have an playful side.
Dislikes: Engel dislikes hunting an hurt animal, and will sometimes go as far as refusing to kill it. He also doesn't like bieng a hunter either. Even though he loves rain he doesn't like lighting and thinder too much,in general he doesn't like loud noises. Engel also doesn't like others to know he has an hearing disability. He had it when he was born but hardly no one knows about it. Engel hates it when it is too hot out(summer),he likes it better when it is cool mild weather(spring+fall) or when it is snowing(winter). Engel also dislikes killing anything for fun,he doesn't see hunting as a spot but as something that helps him keep living.
Background: Engel...Engel the fallen angel. Ironic,isn't it for Engel is a preditor. He is made to kill other animals,but he just doesn't want to. It is hard for him to keep covering up that fact. Engel knows he isn't what is to be excepted of him. His mother Iris named him that,Engel. Even when he was a cub,his mother thought he was an angel given to her from the heavens above. Iris said that becuase, she had trouble getting pregnate. She was desperate to have a cub of her own,so Engel is her little angel from heaven.
Engel's mother thought that should never give birth to a cub of her own,she was very heart broken. Engel's father, Armin, saw that his mate was heart broken. They both agreed to keep trying, and one day their prayers where answered. Iris fell in loved with her single cub. It was though found out a few weeks later that Engel had an hearing problem,it wasn't responding like the other cubs. Iris loved him still,even though Engel wasn't like the other cubs in their small group. No one ever did find out that Engel had a hard time hearing becuase Armin told him to work harder. He didn't want a son who was weak,it was hard for him to accept Engel's disability. Armin wanted Engel to become the head hunter,like he was, but no one would want Engel hunting if they found out about his problem. Engel hid the fact he had issues with hearing becuase he wanted to please his father. Armin would take Engel on hunting trips when Engal was a couple of months old. Armin would say "It is better to learn from hands on experince. You will never learn from just listening". Engel watched his father kill a old jackrabbit. It was the first time he saw death,he didn't like it. When the two were returining home,Armin asked Engel what he thought of the hunting trip.
"Why did you kill that jackrabbit,papa"
"If I didn't someone else would have. There is an rule out there Engel,do you know it"
Engel shook his head.
"Its eat or be eaten, you will not get anywhere or even survie for that matter of fact if you are too soft"
"But why go after a slow moving jackrabbit"
"Engel, it is smart to go after the weak and sick. They are easier to kill and you also have a better chance of catching ypur prey that way too."
Even though Armin said it wasn't smart not tp gp after the sick and weak,Engel refused that fact. He thought to himslef Why go after something that isn't able to put up a fight. Engel though hated the fact he had to kill to survie,but he couldn't denie that fact though. It was who he was, an eater of animals. The others that lived in the camp weren't as bad as his dad,some of them had small animals as pets. Engel soon started to be one of the hunters,his dad was so proud of how well Engel was at hunting.One day a few months later he was wondering around camp he came aross and old friend of his mom's. He saw some lovley peices of jelwery,he was amazed by it.
"Did you make those" asked Engel with wonder
"Yes,do you like them" she said quite proudly
"They are so pretty" said Engel looking at the peices of jelwery
"Thank you Engel. I loved showing off my art skills by making these"His mom's friend saw that Engel seems to love the peices dearly, and saw that he seem quite interested. She smiled. "Hey Engel if you want I can show you how to make some"
"Really" said Engel,his eyes seemed to sparkle in the morning sun.
She nodded "Yes, of course I will love to show you how to make them"
Engel would visit her after a hunting trip to learn how to make jelwery. And after a week or two he learned how to do it,he was a fairly quick learner. Engel was so happy with making the jelwery that without thinking he brought home the piece that he made,it was a beautifully crafted necklace. Iris and Armin were confused about the peice. Engel explained that he made it and had so much fun doing it. He then said he thought he found his calling,Engel wanted to be an jelwery maker. Armin was feircely angered by this. He took the necklace with his huge paw and threw it. It shattered when it made inpacted into the wall. Engel was deeply sadden
"No son of mine will ever be an jelwery maker. What,do you want my friends making fun of me. It was hard enough that you have an hearing problem. Now you want to make JEWLERY. You are a great hunter,stay with that. You will get great honor from being a hunter."snaped his dad
"But I don't really like bieng a hunter, and I don't care about honor. I found something that I enjoy doing,aren't you proud of me" said Engel almost crying,his first peice of jelwery was smashed into hundereds of peices.
"No if you continue with that JUNK, I will be ashamed of you. Do you understand Engel, you are a hunter. You will be a hunter just like me and like the rest of your anesters. I will no longer talk about this"
Engel was hurt by this,but he accepted. He always wanted to please his father. Engel gave up the thought of making jelwery. He though still loved looking at them but soon that started to stop as well. He continued to go on hunting trips but he would not look Armin in the eyes or even in his general direction for the matter. Everyone started to see that the two were starting to have a riff between them.
While on a hunting trip,Engel wondered off on his own. He enjoyed to quietness and the different sounds it was making. Even though he did have hearing problems,he would listen carefully so he could hear the sounds. By mistake Engel came across a small bundle of fur on the group. He walked carfully over to it and stood near it. He then tryed to poke the ball of fur with his big paws,being extra careful that he wouldn't crush it. When he first touched it,the ball of fur moved. It spooked him so much that he jumped backwards and accidently hit himself against a tree. The ball of fur weakly sat up and blinked its tiny eyes at the big cat. It cocked its head trying to figure out what it was looking at. Engel was wondering the same thing. He could see it was an baby animal and saw that it was hurt.
"What are you"the little of fur asked. Her voice sounded weak but she showed no fear in her voice.
"A Smili" he replyed
"A Smilie"she said,it sounded like a question.
"No a S.M.I.L.I, smili"Engel repeated
"Oh, so I guess you're going to eat me then"she said
Engel shook his head, he never would attack a hurt animal. Though for some odd reason this ball of fur seemed different,but he couldn't quite put his paw on it.
"You're weird, I heard Smilis are preditors. I'm prey. What am I not good enough for you."
"Umm"
"What too good to eat a Sugar Glider"
"Umm I..I" he never had a prey talk back to him. Engel was too taken back for words "Sugar Glider?" he said changing the subject,he also wanted to make sure he heard it right.
"Yes"
"Alright so anyways I perfer to only attack prey that are able to put up a fight. But it kind of seems you are about to put up a fight after all" said Engel
"Oh okay still confused but I'll take it"
"So where is your family. You kind of seem too younge to be on you own"
"I don't know"
"How about your name"
"I forgot it"
Engel sighed,he glanced at the sugar glider. He couldn't leave such an younge animal alone just to die. Engel remebered seeing the others in his group having pets,so he figured it must be okay. He then asked the sugar glider if she wanted to go back to camp with him. At first she protested, but after some talking she agreed. Engel had promissed to protect her from those who wanted to cause her harm. So he picked the little ball of fur up and put her on his back and walked back to the group of hunters. They saw the sugar glider on his back,but seeing that it was a bit too small for food they left it alone. Engel asked Armin if he could keep it. Armin sighed but said yes. Even though Engel kind of still had a dislike for his father,he said a thank you to Armin.
Iris didn't mind the sugar glider but she still asked him why did he want it. Engel explaiened what had happened earlier, she smiled and said "Engel, I knew why I named you that. You are truely an angel,even if you feel like you lost your way." After Engel got the sugar glider back to health,since she couldn't remeber her name he felt like he should name her. After a few minuts of think he said "How do you like the name Else"
The sugar glider shurged,she didn't care what he named her. But she didn't hate the name,she actully loved it. The two started to form a friendship. She would follow him around the camp and would stay back at the house when he left with Armin to go hunting.
This was a start on a new way of looking at things for Engel. He didn't fell as alone when he was with Else,even though he didn't love her as much as a mate he would admitt that Else was more then a pet. Else was a friend,probably one of his best. Even though the riff between him and his still existed it was starting to close. Soon there was a deal that was made between Armin and Engel. If he still went on hunting trips, he could still do some jelwery pieces for fun without having Armin getting mad. Engel agreed to that,even though he enjoyed making jelwery he could still make his father proud of him by still going on hunting trips.
What I intend to use Engel for: Well for one thing I always wanted to have a big cat character,along with my small cat characts(they are pretty much domesticated cats). I thought it would be awsome to have an preditor that doesn't like to kill hurt animals,but will for survial. I thought that could be an ironic twist.I also always wanted to have a character like this,for my little thread I have that I play with my characters. It could use a character like Engel. I also wanted a predictor that had a pretty name,another twist. I chose his name Engel becuase it is the German name for Angel. I picked a German name becuase I love the laugage, and thought it would be a nice touch to him. . I also fell in love with his design. It thought it was so pretty having snow leopard print on him,it was an wonderful idea for that. I love a lot of Spotty designs so it would be so hard not to love this one. I love that Engel has thick fur, I always had a love for animals with lots of fur. I also always wanted have a design to have an natural colored look t it. I love the colors on him and his eyes are so beautiful. I love that there is dark colors along with lighter colors. The sugar glider named Else,well I thought it would be so cute if he had a small animal that he kept as a pet. Engel though thinks of Else more of a "little buddy" then a pet. There isn't a romatic feeling between the two though.


It took me a while to write this, I hope I'm doing it right. Tis my first time attempting to adopt from TAN ^-^
