Wow, thanks for the input everyone^^. Looks like we'r going to have adoptable kali in the future.
And I have settled on a name for my kali, I'll call her Andra. That means "second" in swedish, because she is my second smili-type character. Lol. Lots of creativity there. Not.

Yes! It's a little pathetic, I can't get over how pretty Andra is.

That is alright Mei, but then it'd loose some of it's smili-ness. You can make a anthro smili exactly like any other anthro animal, but then it would most likely act more or less fully human, and not interact with the regular quad version. If I put it this way, anthro smili can't quite exist paralell to quad ones, it'd have to live among anthro friends. I much prefere if the character stays quad, and originally smili, but it's alright with anthro arts and so of the char. I don't mind that^^.

I'll place them somewhere close to the smili, in the same family. I've been thinking of naming the "smili-family" something so it'll be easier to keep track of. The feliformia suborder is really broad, so I think we could find some anymals there that rmind a bit of the kali. Mongooses and meercats for example. I like the mustelid idea, but it's much to far from the smili.
Feliformia:
Nimravidae†
Stenoplesictidae†
Percrocutidae†
Nandiniidae
Prionodontidae
Barbourofelidae†
Felidae
Viverridae
Hyaenidae
Herpestidae
Eupleridae
I don't think they could walk on their legs, they look really unbalanced and tall. But they can stand for short moments, and sit on their hind legs (like rats), leaving the front paws free to grab objects.

They just had that longer-bodied look to them that reminds me of Mustelids, heh. Sorry for that mix-up. Just wanted to be really sure. I REALLY want one now. My Smili, Pleek, is only a CS charrie. But if I get a Kali, it will actually be a personal charrie for use elsewhere, as it is freaking awesomeness. As soon as I'm ungrounded, I MUST draw one. Anthro, of course
